Well, what do you think boys and girls?

I am pleased to know the McCain is NOT a campaign coward, he showed up and was a gentleman.

You go first.

In just my opinion - not to offend anyone - I don't think either one of them won anything. I have a problem with any one wanting to be a leader of our Nation that can stand there and not have any passion or aggressiveness in what they have to say. It all appeared robot-ical. Sadly, the debate had the same old story accompanied with it and that is to - SELL - to the people and - TELL - them exactly what they want to hear. Nothing was new. The only thing I found really offensive is when McCain talked about his war experience and all Obama could make reference to is the bracelet he wore on his arm in reference to a fallen soldier and talk about this not having to happen to other mothers. Freedom comes at a price, so is Obama ready to face that price should the time come? There is no and can be no comparison unless one has experienced it. I would have given more creditability to Obama if he would just have stated that he could not share any experience of warfare such as McCain has and would in fact have the right people in place to seek advice on when it comes to warfare.

How is it we have allowed the media and the same old empty promises to condition our minds? We in essence have become zombie like material. I agree with mmustangg as the Democrats always promise one thing in change and that is more Welfare and Freebie Packages to those who are without. The scary part of this whole thing as that many individuals Republicans - Democrats - Liberals - whatever you'd want to call yourself were all caught up being part of bringing the economy down to where it is today - - over 9

- over 90% of the US Citizens are struggling and always look for the easiest way out. Because many individuals of all race and party sides are tired of trying to win a constant loosing battle - the word BAIL OUT - is going to appeal to many. Everyone knows from history that Democrats will in fact do just that - give people a free hand out. So I am more inclined to say no matter what happen in the debate - this debate more than likely is being over clouded by what the outcome is going to be on bailing out the loosing investment companies - because what ever happens there will dictate how we are going to thrive in our economy and if the Democrats pull it off as being the ones to save the World per say - then I do believe debates or no debates - the Democrats may actually have a good chance at winning. This is my opinion - so please don't call me a leftist nor a Democrat or Republican sympathizer. At this point - I am like many others - gathering all the information I can to be able to make the right decision when the time comes.

My turn :

(a). looked more Presidential? McCain
(b). seemed more informed? Obama
(c). had better ideas? Obama
(d). inspired confidence? McCain
(e). earned your vote? Don't know yet

There will never be another Kennedy, FDR or Reagan...the system is too corrupt. There will never be another Dumbo either....a 12 yo deaf, dumb, blind, crack head could do no worse than the "decider".

It is very funny to see my RW pals complain about the "free spending" Obama plan when we look at what the Republican administration has done/ is doing to us!!!

Let's see our priorities :

Bush : fund a bad war, bailout greedy, corrupt and criminal fat cats, spend our way into the second great depression, while cutting the taxes for said fat cats..

Obama : Health care for children, help working class people go to college and keep their homes, get the hell out of Iraq (and save 10 billion PER MONTH!!).

The most interesting point to me was the fact that Obama would chase the terrorists into Pakistans and KILL the bastards while McCain would stop at the border until the terrorist protecting government of Pakistan gave us the green light.

No wonder Bin Laden remains free under the Republican war to hang Saddam....we are more interested in propping up a corrupt and inept government than in finding and the killing the REAL terrorists of 9-11 ( I guess a corrupt and inept government owes it to another corrupt and inept government..a "birds of a feather sort of thing"..

McCain, across the board. Obama was VERY rude,
by attempting to interrupt McCain throughout the debate, when it was McCain's turn. McCain was, without a doubt MUCH MORE informed on issues, in general, across the board. The ONLY
place I saw McCain having difficulty, that Obama "slid right through," was in pronouncing
all the tongue twisting, Middle Eastern names! Obama said them as if he was talking about his own family! Ooops! I guess, in a way, he was, wasn't he?

McCain all

At best, Obama's a skilled street activist. Still, without a teleprompter, he had a stack of note cards from which he read continuously; shows lack of focus and intellect.

For the undecided, especially ex-mil, think about how he refused to visit wounded vets, unless photographers could take pics...that shallowness should send you to McCain.

For all the undecided, here's an interesting article that shows the true side of Obama's intentions.
