I get "gossies" when I sing the National Anthem.

Our FLAG brings joy to my heart.

"AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL"  IS beautiful.

My grandpa  died from a mustard gas attack in WW1.

My daddy had two Navy sub-chasers sunk from underneath him in WW2.

I volunteered (not drafted) for duty in Viet Nam.

I am in the midst of a great "soul search" of where MY America has gone.

A Nation which prided itself on "pay as you go" now has a national debt of $57,000,000,000,000..FIFTY-SEVEN TRILLION DOLLARS.........that's $187,000 for each American. (the lying gov't claims it's  ONLY 11.7 Trillion but they cook the books; go to www.truthin2008.org:.webloc  for the TRUTH).

We don't really care if all the immigration laws are violated on a daily bases because it's "good for corporate America".

"Where is FEMA" is the cry instead of "How can I prepare for a disaster?"

Our inept, lying, crooked Government (both parties) want to add another 700 BILLION dollars to our debt (taxpayers foot the bill) to BAILOUT greedy, criminal enterprises which reaped BILLIONS of dollars on profits before the pyramid collapsed. This includes FOREIGN LENDERS!!!!!

WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO MY AMERICA ?

I fear it IS GONE and it shall never return. The country which my ancestors and myself were willing to die for is NO MORE.

I may be a bit morose and overreacting but that's how I feel today.

The land of FREE ENTERPRISE and HONESTY IN GOVERNMENT is DEAD.

What shall we do?

So bye, bye, Miss American Pie...

hehehehehehe..... QUICK!!!!! Vote for Ron Paul!!! It's the last American act you can do. Vote fraud can't beat a landslide(?). Just DO IT!

Join the RonPaulRevolution!

Let's kick the corrupt mess out while there is still time. Vote 4 DrNO! Vote ALL Incumbents OUT! Well, there are 5 or 10 that deserve to stay. I think that many anyways.

I'd read that the total for each of us was up near $450k. So, $187k almost seems wonderful :(

I've wondered what would happen if that debt were called in. How many of us have the assets to pay off that bill if it came due tomorrow? Not I. But for some $200k ain't squat. hehehehe. a small price to pay even.. I wonder if that's what the civilian-labor army camps are all about? Debtors prisons? Here? In America? I've been reading too much Alex Jones..

*off to the reeducation processing center near me* Tho, today that doesn't seem like the joke it usually is. Perhaps I should go drop a wad at the mall to stimulate the economy. If I'm gonna be racked w/debt I did not create I may as well enjoy it. Why should I be responsible? Mama needs a new pair of shoes.

Now I should go clean the loos.

hehehehehe..... I almost wondered if you deleted that thread as it happened right after Islandchef911 handed you your spatula this morning.

Good to know it was our Mod who had the good sense to take it down.

I did my "act of contrition" before it was yanked. I hope you saw it.

I had to address the slander in a manner which was appropriate.

I do fell a bit muddy from the process though.

Sorry I caused your post to evaporate Stang, I'll never respond to that character in the future...he is relegated to the "land of burned rolodexes".

Moo,

That little punk was in the hurricane chat calling all kinds of people names just to get others to flag them. There were a bunch of idiots in there around that time, he was one of them.

YD,

I just wish Admin had yanked the offending replies between you and that misguided fool, and not deleted the whole blog. His treason blog is still up! I guess it's ok for him to call McCain a coward but we can't call him one. Way to go Admin!

Back to the topic, Whoopie (The View) had a good idea today. Why not pay half of everyone's mortgage down instead. That would give me a bit of breathing room that's for sure.

Bail WeThePeople out instead of WeTheCorporations. Sounds good to me. It will never happen.

I like it. Anyone else?

I will always love my country even in it's darkest days. It is and always will be the best country in the world.
My father served over seas for five years WW2.
My oldest sister was six months old when he left, she was almost six years old when he saw her again. I am proud of the sacrfices he made to serve his country.

To call McCain a coward is just ignorant rant that I will not comment on. Oh sorry other blog...Lol

What is we resisted and don't have a big mortgage?

The fact that we need a government resuce plan to correct a free enterprise problem is THE PROBLEM.....it's not what solution is less repulsive...it's the fact that we are having a plan at all.

We may as well go ahead and get it over with...Nationalize the banking business, wall street and all of the oil companies...do it now instead of doing it in dribs and drabs.

Not to worry Louie, I'll bet 99% of bloggers agree that McCain is NOT a coward. We all know who the cowards are.

I'm with Moon; give the money to the people. I'm OK and don't want any, just don't raise my taxes.

Fire all incumbants. All y'all knew I'd say that.

YD,

I knew you would appreciate that. When I found it, I would looking to see where that treason blog might have come from and/or where else it might be. Finding that little ditty was just a happy accident. It was like when Indiana Jones found the Lost Ark.*lol*

Don't let this gesture go to your head. I still think you are a left wing loon!*roflmao* But happy autumn!

Latest news : the bailout may be as much as 1.3 trillion.

We may as well declare bankruptcy as a country, tell the Arabs and Chinese to eat dirt, nationalize the financial sector and the energy industry and become the Venezuela of the North.

Does the buck stop with Bush or is this Carter's fault?

mmustangg read my blog view my photos
Sep 23, 2008 | 6:47 AM

Carter can't drive a nail stright but it's not his fault. Oddly enough, it's our own fault. We as a nation went out and bought up houses like we thought we were Donald Trump! Then when oil prices spiked, suddenly we had trouble paying for what we bought and the market collapsed.

Bush's problem is having Democrats in key oversight positions like:

Barney Frank - Chairman of the Financial Services Committee, which oversees the entire financial services industry, including the securities, insurance, banking, and housing industries.

Christopher Dodd - Chairman of the Senate Banking Committee, which has jurisdiction over matters related to: banks and banking, price controls, deposit insurance, export promotion and controls, federal monetary policy, financial aid to commerce and industry, issuance of redemption of notes, currency and coinage, public and private housing, urban development and mass transit, and government contracts.

The buck might stop with Bush but it has to reach him first!

The Executive Branch controls the treasury Dept, and regulates (hahahahahahaha!!!!) the Financial Markets and Banks.

Try as you may my friend, the blame and the buck stops with Dumbo and his sidekick Hank (give my pals some $$$) Paulson.

The craziness of the real estate and mortgage market was ignored by the ignorant and brilliant alike (I sounded the alarm 3 years ago but you did not listen).

The crazy thing is that they still don't understand the cause of the problem nor the consequences of the "bailout"

The value of these bundles of worthless mortgages will not recover as they hope, the bottom is still far away and the worth of millions of foreclosed properties is no where near what is owed to the banks.

The lie about the taxpayers recovering most or all of the bailout $$$ is a fairy tale.

So Barney Frank and Chris Dodd are blameless huh? Please tell me again what these two individuals do!? What is their responsibility? What do they draw a pay check for? Like I said the buck may stop with the president but it has to get to him first!
