Do you believe any of our candidates are intent on or capable of bringing about change, and if so what do you think that change will be?

Well, according to Obama, when one can actually get an answer out of him past his rhetoric and pom pom waving .... his version of "change" will be to dismantle the Military (because we won't be getting into any more conflicts) and to raise corporate taxes and such for social programs

If you ask Ms. Clinton, she too, will raise taxes (WHY ON EARTH should those of us who work long, hard hours, pay MORE to those who have chosen the lazy route of entitlement)

I for one, believe that there should be a flat percentage tax for everybody. I don't really agree with raising corporate taxes, but their needs to be regulation in oil, telecom, insurance, and banking industries... These corporations are making huge profits at the expensive of our economy, our dollar and the well-being of the American people.

.........keep blaming "liberals", though, damn dirty "liberals"........watch a little more O'reilly factor and Uncle Bill will coddle your fragile GOP sense of righteousness. Bi-polar, separatism of the American people for crap. I suppose it was good for Bush to cut taxes and push rebates, while he already can't fund his budget? You see what you want to see YF, or what you're SUPPOSED to see....however you want to look at it.

NO You statements do not add up ! You say you are for a flat tax and against a corporate tax but then go on to support “punitive tax” to punish company's for making a profit (just can't escape your deep seated concept that profit is “bad” can you) . You attack Republicans on cite and without incite , you use the broad and shallow strokes of the liberal brush to rebuff the “Bush deficit” but do not care to delve into any of the details. The “budget” does not operate in a vacuum and is a refection of events that have occurred in the past 7 years.
Fun Fact : our current Debt to GDP ratio is actually 2% lower than it was in the last two years of Bill Clinton (98/99) and we are not in a negative economic spin....but we WILL be as soon as the taxes come back!

Well. Oil regulation does not come from the individual oil companies, nor does the setting of the price. The price of gas is also set after outside starting points by our ability to refine it! ALL 47 plus different variations of it!! We have made gas the most expensive operation we could! All in the name of cleaner air, land, and water! All those federal standards demanded by the enviromental nuts that think that hybrid is going to help! (wait until those battery units end up in the landfills...) Always hear about profit numbers of "big Oil" but NEVER profit margin, or the cost to operate. Plus liberals are setting up under the radar another 50 cents on the gallon tax for you! They already have more money comming into coffers than ever before, but taxing is the liberals tool for control, not money... at some point even the left wing nuts will figure that out! (usually by the time they are in their 40s and with family and kids.)

"profit but NEVER profit margin", OK so it's alright if they post record profits, as long as they can justify it in terms of markup percentage? You're really pulling it out of your azz now. Good...I'm enjoying it...keep believing it, and we'll see who laughs last.

Take some Marco economics truth....

The definition of "record" to liberals is the gross profit number, but you FAIL to show the RECORD overhead, RECORD regulation, RECORD demand.

You want to see who is making money hand over fist.. Yahoo for example like Google are upset that this year their PROFIT MARGINS were not over 25%!! Big Oil is only around 8%.

You see, you might get away with playing the number game with those that take the numbers at face value, and without perspective, but that not here truthnut. THIS is why you guys hate FOX NEWS.. because they add that perspective where your left wing media leads people astray.

As to the deficit also. Its up against over 14 Trillion GDP and deficit is still over 3 years ahead of payoff goals. Clinton had a deficit around the same, but only HALF the GDP because he just taxed everything! Bush cut taxes, and revenues pour in exceeding "experts" guesses routinely.
