If impeachment requires a 2/3 majority, then our government should be impeached.

1.  Fewer than a third of americans approve of the President.

2.  Even fewer still approve of the congress. 

3.  Even fewer still feel America is heading in the right direction.

I believe that politics will only worsen our problems over time. We live in a self destructive society. As long as we continue to give free money to the poor and the illegal, more and more money will go to them to continue the votes for the democrat party. There will undoubtedly come a time with the working people have to pay more than 50 percent tax and when that happens we will have some feeble attempt at a revolution. The only type of revolution we can ever have will be economical.

I could see another revolutionary war in he future, if things do not change....

liberals need a crisis. An exaggerated view of poverty in America works just fine, thank you -- especially if you're trying to raise taxes. So when John Edwards isn't getting $400 haircuts (or was that Bill Clinton?) or strolling around his mansion, the born-again populist is usually talking about "two Americas," suggesting that some 37 million of our fellow citizens are struggling with "incredible poverty." But have you ever wondered how such rampant starvation can exist in the midst of a nationwide obesity crisis?

If you look at the living conditions of those folks the government defines as impoverished, you'll discover that America's poor lead far better lives than do many middle-class citizens overseas

46 percent of all poor households in America actually own their homes.

Most own a car, and 31 percent of poor households own two or more.

78 percent have a DVD or VCR player; 62 percent have cable or satellite television.

One third of poor households have both cell and landline telephones.

And 80 percent have air conditioning -- significant, since as recently as 1970 only 36 percent of all American households had it.

Indeed, if you measure consumption (and assets) as opposed to only cash income, you get an entirely different picture of poverty in the United States. Far from being malnourished, 89 percent of poor families
in other countries..

..yet we have the highest prison population in the world. Have you seen the value of the U.S. Dollar lately? Air conditioning is a ridiculous assessment. That's mere progression of technology. I'm not talking about America's poor anyways, I'm talking abou the people as a whole, and the direction we should be heading vs. the direction we are.

People own mortgages and loans, so I don't think those numbers are quite accurate. Homes may have air conditioning, but most of us have upped the temperature on our thermostats and added blankets in the winter rather than turn on the heat.

I do think that it will take a number of catastrophes before the majority of people enlighten themselves to the true goings on in washington and, more importantly, insist on holding the government accountable.

We should be aware of legislation our representatives are considering and our voices should be heard by them regarding our position on such legislation.

We need to set TERM LIMITS for everyone in office, no matter what position they hold, We have seen time and time again how they cover up and do what they want, NOT WHAT THE PEOPLE WANT...One lie's and they all swear to it..

EACH AND EVERY PERSON IN GOVERNMENT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED, Never RE-ELECT....

We have the highest prison population in the world because of the system and the lack of death penalties being carried out!

RonPaul4Freedom...people do own mortgages but have that all paid off and no longer have a mortgage but don't pay your taxes and see who really owns it!

Get it all out of your system folks because later this year all of these sites and emails will be scrutinized by the government.Mr Truth 'bomb' is a keyword that the government will 'hit' on so you better get rid of your household chemicals and guns now.

By the way Truth, I email a friend in Saudi Arabia who works on the coalition jet fighters that are there. I receive notifications of delay in sending often as both sides are interested in what we're talking about. I'm surprised that my friend has not been arrested in Saudi as we often talk about women. Big Brother is here folks! We've got to do someting about it.
