I don't understand the IPhone Phrenzy!! I'll admit I'm not much of a Gadget Girl.  I have a MP3 player on my phone and I've probably used it 10 times.  So, there's no chance of me spending $600 bucks for a phone.

On June 29th the iPhone, which combines a wireless phone with music and video-playing capabilities and Web browsing, comes out.  The device is one of the most highly anticipated U.S. product launches of the year.

Here are some key facts about the iPhone.

* Its main feature is a 3.5-inch touch-sensitive screen with one physical button. Programs are accessed by touching icon and text is entered with an on-screen keyboard.

 * It costs either $500 or $600 depending on whether it has 4 gigabytes or 8 gigabytes of flash memory.

* It has Wi-Fi wireless technology for high-speed Internet Access and Bluetooth for use with wireless accessories and other devices.

* It has a 2-megapixel camera.

AT&T has exclusive rights to the phone for at least two years.

Granted, this phone is very cool!  But cool enough to stand in line and then spend $5-$600 bucks for it?  Not me. What about you??

lol I remember when the new gadget was a tape deck, vcr and a hard drive for the pc.

Like every generation the kids want the newest thing out on the market. Things haven't changed, kids are kids :)

I don't think im going to spend the same amount on a phone than i would my mortage or rent..

Someone will buy one then put it on ebay and make twice as much. I heard people did that with PS 3 when it was released.

They look like very nice phones. But that is TOO much to pay for something that will get dropped on a daily basis.

I am the very proud mother of a daughter named Jordyn. She is the smartest, sweetest, funniest kid I've ever met (I guess I may be a little biased). We have three cats, Jazmyn, Jakob and Joshua.
