Trei Johnson's Blog

Tuesday morning Tom was reading a quick story about the pet poll we have here on myfoxorlando.com. While he was reading we were showing all kinds of animals. At the end I said: "I think my cat is pregnant". Just as I said that the story changed to an update of Jennifer Kesse, there was a picture of her over his shoulder. Tom, in this awkward situation, handled things very well.  He kinda gave me a look of 'okay, where did that come from?'. But here's what wasn't relayed over the air....I was going to ask you, the viewers, to tell me how I can tell for sure that my feline is pregnant, and to blog me with any information. But I never got the chance.  That's unfortunately what happens on live tv.  Ooops!  Sorry about that everyone...I'll start asking for blogs about my kitties when I know this won't happen again.

Gestation for a cat is 63 days. If in 55 days, she looks like she's ready to pop. She is pregnant and will soon have kittens. That's how I always tell. If she comes into heat and gets a male suitor, she is pregnant. Always happens to the best of us. Control the pet population? Sometimes we just can't catch it in time. Your cat will also start looking for a good hiding spot. They hide their kittens until they are walking. If you find the kittens, they will usually move them. I have two now to socialize. I just love it when they spit and fuss, and before you know it they are climbing up your leg to be petted.

With three males and one female, Jazmyn, odds are Jazmyn's going to be a mom!

Love your humor, keep it up. "if micheal had been a black man...." lmao.

She'll become more loving. She'll start getting milk. And of course she'll get fatter. Her stomach won't move for a while. You won't really be able to feel anything inside until she is about to give birth. If you have a weak stomach don't watch the process of her in labor. I've seen it millions of times, and everytime I still say it's disgusting. But beautiful. Good luck.

BTW I saw your bbq on memorial day and I wasn't jealous of it at all, until the camera panned to you really enjoying it. When you waved the camera away, I knew that there had to be really good food there. IT was then I wanted some lol.

(It's really hard to get them to urinate on that little stick. ---seriously, just take her to the vet. Then - get her fixed.)

Here's the deal with Jena. While me and Jordyn were shopping at Wal-Mart, a little boy was holding a brown bag that had "Free Kitten" written on it. Inside was a tiny, scared kitten. I told Jordyn we would take her home because I didn't want anyone to take her and then abandon her once they got sick of her. The agreement was that we would keep her until we found a good home for her. Turns out my Bishop wanted to take her home, but Jordyn started crying and he said he couldn't take a kitten from a child who obviously loved her. I'm a sucker. So my boy's are fixed and I didn't think I had to rush to get her spayed since I had no plans on keeping her and she couldn't get knocked up. Then one day she darted out the door.....3 days later she came back...with some extra luggage. Now I've got to find a home for her and her kittens once she gives birth. I know...I should've had "The Talk"!

At the Remlinger's Antique and Flea Market in Mt. Dora, people are always giving away thier baby pets. Some even sit on a bench and sell their puppies.

I got my kitty this way. A boy came with a box and said free kittens, I took 1, and the rest were gone with 10 min. There were 4 total that I saw.

I can understand how this can be inconvient for you. I've seen how celebs get mobbed whereever they go by inconsiderate people, and fans who don't realize you have a life too.

After the are weened, if she is preggo, you can drop them off to me at J35 in that flea market, and I will insure they get a good home for you.

I sell scratching posts and other pet supplies that I make, along with childrens toys, I get a lot of traffic from loving pet owners. I would do this for you.

DVS11965 - You are so sweet! I might just take you up on that! I'll let you know once the little darlins are born. Any chance you'll come over my house and deal with the delivery and all it's yuckiness? LOL

Trei, they ALWAYS get out and ALWAYS get knocked up! Take it from me, I learned the hard way myself.

In the hard lesson I learned, I took my cat to the vet a week after it was jumped and told the vet she'd been jumped and I wanted her fixed. He "took care of it" if you catch my drift. She came back fixed and no longer pregnant. I don't know how you feel about that, but if it's been like only a week or two, you might not get stuck with the kittens.

I am the very proud mother of a daughter named Jordyn. She is the smartest, sweetest, funniest kid I've ever met (I guess I may be a little biased). We have three cats, Jazmyn, Jakob and Joshua. Jake is my favorite, he's a cat that act's like a dog! Seriously, he greets me at the door, fetches toys, and chews on my shoes!! Thanks for joining the my fox orlando community and I invite you to join my blog and speak your mind.
