I am wondering on a scale of 1-10 (1 being you hate it and 10 being you love it) how much you enjoy living in Arizona? I live in Orlando now and am considering moving.

Please tell me at least one thing you love about living there and also 1 thing you cannot stand about living there.

Anyone know any honest transmission places around town? I think mine is going out on my Acura. Anyone have a good or bad experience with someone? I am liking what Aamco's website says and they offer a good warranty. I know little about cars and do not want to have to call on Tom Sussi for help because I got ripped off. Any help is greatly appretiated.

So we all know that if we do not buy gas on just one day it has no impact on our prices or the gas stations. I have seen an idea floating around that I am willing to try. What if we choose one company to boycott until the are forced to listen/shut down. If we were all to stop going to Shell long enough they would have to listen and lower prices......right?

It seems like all the restaraunts are giving their food away to get you in the door. Yesterday alone you could get a free chicken sandwich at McDonalds and 31 cent scoop at Baskin Robbins. It just seems that we the people are taking it and we are the consumer and in any other business it means we are in charge.

Your thoughts? What do we have to loose?

So I don't normally try to "network" on these blogs but I want to test the whole six degrees theory. Does anyone out there in "blogland" have any contacts that either operate or assist in operating or managing an airport or anything affiliated with an airport?

I am trying like crazy to work with the airports in the United States to jump on the bandwagon with my product (Boston already has it) and have the United States join what the the rest of the world in already doing. So I am flying to Dallas tomorrow and I figured I would check out the Fox Dallas site and I found this article. Did Fox Orlando report this? Or are we too P.C. to report?? If there were a black, chinese or hispanic fee I am sure it would be all over the news and you know who would be talking about it!!!

People beaten for not paying white 'fee'

ORLANDO, Fla. (UPI) -- Four Florida men face hate crime charges for allegedly beating an elderly woman and her two disabled friends for not paying a white person fee, police said.

The 62-year-old woman and her developmentally disabled friends were going into Kaley Park in Orlando, Fla., when Christopher Colbert, Erick Golden, Willie Pritts and Antoniette Boone allegedly began harassing them, investigators said.

The men are accused of telling the victims they were required to hand over a fee to stay in the park because they are white, WKMG-TV in Orlando, Fla. reported Monday.

The men allegedly threatened one victim with a knife and beat them when they failed to hand over money, the police report said. The men reportedly were taken into custody within miles of the park and are facing multiple criminal charges.

So I am a Diabetic and as a result should only drink diet soda since it has no carbs or sugar. I am also traveling around this great state of ours on a regular basis and sometimes have limited time to eat so I do what every other good American does and grab a quick bite with a drive thru somewhere. Long story short, when ordering a soda I ALWAYS speak extra clear and say the word DIET when ordering a soda. I am willing to take into account human error from time to time. In the last week I have been served 2 regular sodas and of course both times I drove off and didn't realize it until I was 10-20 minutes down the road. I have in the past called to let them know of their error but I know I am just the daily laugh.

Any fellow Diabetics have the same or similar gripe???

Just wondering if any of you have had any experience with working for someone and signing a non compete and then later working for someone else? What happened? I am told they cannot force you out of the industry or keep you from making a living. Also, what if your employer broke many of the items in the contract?

Have you heard the news story yet? A neighbor evidently saw 2 burglars breaking into a home and called 911 and when the cops weren't showing up he grabbed his gun and shot the 2 burglars. What are your thoughts?

P.S. They happened to be illegal aliens.

I would for sure do the same if anyone tried to break into my house. If it were one of my neighbors I would try to scare the burglars away......

Okay so I know there isn't a health blog section so I started my own. I wanted to see if anyone out there has or know anyone that has Gout?? If so, what do they do about it? How do they treat it? Personally I think it should be used as torture for people like Osama. I have had it since the age of 19 and at times it is so bad that I cannot watch TV because the volume/vibration from the voices on the TV will hurt the effected joint too bad. During a bad attack I can be in bed for 3-10 days and do not leave bed for any reason.
