The mind of a certified genius

Supposedly Kerry is on the short, short list for Obama's VP choices.

I PRAY that this is the decision he makes.

They look at Kerry as bring foreign relations experience, money and credibility to the ticket.  Kerry has recently started a web site to fight back against what he considers to be 'Obama smears,' like the #1 selling book right now: Obama Nation.

Of course, Kerry is also the genius who, standing 25 feet away from his Chevy Suburban, swore that he'd never own an SUV

Who made legendary the phrase, "I voted for it before I voted against it."

Who couldn't remember his own Vietnam experience, who admittedly lied before Congress after that experience, and then who couldn't remember if he'd thrown his own medals over the White House wall as a protest - or what the difference was between ribbons and medals.

I have a new phrase all ready for the Obama/Kerry ticket:

Dumb and Dumber

LOL! Kerry as VP! Bring him on! Funny thing, the same guy helping to write the swift boat vet's book that destroyed Kerry, has the no.1 book out now Obama Nation!

Kerry can't run because he would have to actually release his service record as he promised before and didn't. The Kerry Camp folks try to weazel around it by saying all his military history has been provided and that is NOT true! Sign the DoD form for release then Kerry!!

Of course it would be the only way Kerry would retain office as in his district right now he is not doing so well.

B. Hussein Obama's selection for Veep is important to his ascencion to the throne, but not critical. The libs will vote for him no matter, even (maybe especially) if Hillary is on the ticket. Since Obama seems to have difficulty making firm committments, he may want to have Hillary/Kerry as co- Vice Presidents.

This is the first I've heard of this. It's not even a name on any other site. I think your making this one up, just like Hillary. The dream ticket has faded in popularity. As reported by yahoo, "Should Obama wish to chose a woman nevertheless, he could go for Kathleen Sebelius, 60, a governor who has cross-partisan appeal in the traditionally Republican state of Kansas."
As for McCain, who is 71 years olllllddd, I heard he was looking to run with young 37 year old Louisana governor Bobby Jindal, but Jindal was quoted twice saying "No, I have the job I want" and "I do not care to work with McCain."

I KNOW that Jindal said that he didn't want to be considered for VP but that LAST part I find HARD to believe..

That "I do not care to work with McCain." sounds to ME to be the workings of an overactive imagination...

Kerry For Vice President?

Keller's Blog: Kerry For VP Part II Reporting

Jon Keller BOSTON (WBZ) ? Barack Obama has yet to name a vice presidential nominee and some are wondering if he might turn to Massachusetts to round out the ticket.

John Kerry for vice president?

Don't dismiss the notion just yet.

Some political insiders are telling WBZ it could happen.

So why would Obama reach out to Kerry as his choice?

Kerry brings more money and name recognition to the table than any other name on the Obama list so far. Americans do tend to love a comeback kid and this would be the most amazing political comeback since Richard Nixon came back from the dead forty years ago.

"I'm not looking for any new job, I'm running for re-election," Kerry told WBZ last week.

Asked about the V.P. buzz, his press secretary told WBZ in a statement Thursday night:

"If I was bi-lingual, I'd say no in multiple languages. The only job John Kerry is running for, contemplating, or considering is the one he already has."

If you're laughing off the idea of Kerry back on the national ticket again, I don't blame you. While he came close four years ago, his campaign was widely derided as, to put it politely, clumsy.

But consider some reasons why Obama might now turn to Kerry as a running mate.

Polls show many voters question Obama's foreign policy credentials to be a wartime president. As a decorated veteran and longtime member of the senate foreign relations committee, Kerry could fill that g

Obama suffers from being a new face on the political scene, but Kerry - warts and all - is well known to the voters, and in 2004, he did draw more votes than any democrat ever has.

And judging from a new anti-smear web site funded by Kerry's political action committee, Kerry would eagerly assume the role of attack dog... Allowing a nominee who prefers to float above the fray to minimize the amount of political hardball he has to play.

One other note: the vice presidential nominee will address the convention on Wednesday night, August 27.

The theme set for that evening - a salute to America's veterans.

The Obama campaign says we shouldn't read anything into that. We'll soon see if they're blowing smoke on that one.

(So what happens if Kerry is on the ticket - will he still run for the Senate? Read Jon's blog for more.)

Hmmm, Kerry as an attack dog? Interesting. He's pretty boooooring as a speaker, but has certainly proven his willingness to betray anyone who gets in the way of his political ambitions.

The ramblings of a Liberal Rag does NOT constitute evidence of a Truth..Not the reality of a Kerry VP offer OR the fabricated words of Jindal..

Wishful Thinking perhaps..But NOT evidence..

What surprises ME MOST is that there isn't a CONSERVATIVE newspaper in Boston ( if there IS such a thing ) pushing for this,,if ONLY to get rid of Kerry and insure an Obama Defeat.....LMAO..
