Life has been crappy later with some good days thrown in occasionaly. This note for the advertising companies that make commercials, or write them. You could sve a lot of money on the commercials you are producing if you would go ahead and take out the "husband - father figure" and use a log instead. Your portrayal of men is past humorus and has become extremely annoying. Thank god we finally have done away with ID requirements for voters. Now we can all get regestered to vote under as many different names as you wish and vote all you want to for whomever you wish. This is much better than in the past when you could buy votes for a half-pint of whiskey, don't you think? As for this mall picture requirement. My kids are grown, oldest works construction here, youngest has just earned his wings at jump school. while living in NW Arkansas we had pictures taken at the same mall for several years. They did something amazing, by taking a picture & selling you one picture for $5.00, and giving you the option of different packages for giving to friends & family that lived out of state. There was no requirement to buy anything, and many people took lots of pictures themselves. If Santa needs money he should work longer than the christmas season anyway. Nickelodeon & sex-education is like having Capt. Stubing command a pirate ship. Nickelodeon should make a statement about not endorsing teen pregnancy and stick with entertaining smaller children period!!! Somebody must have told the Spears girls about how to make an AZZ out of themselves in a public forum, when they should have been taught about public decorum. Well maybe my life has not been so crappy lately, considering the stuff on the IDIOT BOX lately my life is a bed of roses. Also i don't think labeling Judges as liberal or Democrats is quite right. A better descriptive word would be IDIOTS, don't you think so?? Or maybe they are just ignorant of the LAWS of this country. That's the outcome of the ongoing process of ' DUMBING DOWN EDUCATION'.  Soon being bi-lingual won't help with finding employment, unless English is your second language. I recently bought some ice cream, all the ingredients were in spanish, I think, no english on the box except the name of the product??? What happened there??

Wake up fellow countrymen & women, there is NO health care care in this world, unless you take strides to get healthy & stay that way. What we have here, is a SICK CARE  industry that gone nutso. People want to sue there doctor because he made them worse. Doctors need lawyers because they get sued. Why doesn't the AMA police there own bad DOCTORS & get them out of practice, (must be practice) they certainly don"t know what they are doing. The reality of this situation is most doctors equate themselves as Gods & we are merely here for them to practice on. Gods don't police out the bad ones, after all they are Gods. So, bad doctors screw up, people sue them, malpractice insurance goes up, medical costs rise, and people are left to figure out what to do. Question is, where did "ethics in medicine" go?? I had always thought that the doctors creed was "First do NO harm" what happened to that? Now  Hillary Clinton wants another chance to push her dersion of health care on us?? Ask Canadians or people from any other country what happens when government takes over. Excuse me please, I wouldn't take part in it under any circumstances, & will tell you now that Hillary Clinton would be the worst mistake this country could make if she geys elected President. She was already President once, disguised as Bill Clinton.  That should be enough for anyone, was too much for me. Realize this though their are many charletans in the health industry too. Listen to friends and family about good nutrition products. The best don't spend millions in advertising, or infomercials telling you they are the best. All of that money should be spent on the nutritional product, to make it a better one. All advertising cost are passed on to the consumer, who then buys a bad product with lots of hype.

Sorry folks my comp crashed, it took me a while to get it back up. Probably some think it should crash & burn. LOL. A while back there was something about property taxes. Ther are too many taxes, and they are not going away for awhile unless. Their have been a couple of candidates in the past who had a cure for the taxation problem, but went nowhere. The only cure for rising taxes is a FLAT TAX. I think that now all income earned up into MAY is what we eventually pay in taxes & fees, hidden taxes amd other government charges we don't think about. Somebody  correct me if I'm wrong on this, please, or confirm it. If we have a flat tax on income, 35%?? collected on every paycheck issued in this country. Of course, graduated taxes for low income earners, and ALL other taxes repealed. NO sales tax, gasoline tax, no fees on government parks, no resale tax on vehicles, & anything else that we are being charged now. Wouldn't that be nice, to actually only pay for the gasoline you buy, without the tax & fees associated with it. We would probably put 3/4 of the tax collecters in ths country out of a job, they would have to find real jobs then, something that would contribute to society for a change. Nothing against the employees now, they are neccessary, and someone has to do it. Corporate bigwigs who have stock options, whenever you exercise your options you pay then. There should be NO tax shelters, You make money you pay, period. The tax should be collected by State governments, in order to make sure individual state needs are met first. All elected state officials should receive their salary from their their own state, (Senators & Congressmen) DISMANTLE  IRS completely & destroy all their records. They are nearly gestapolike in their actions. NO MORE property tax. If governing bodies can't function on a budget then they will have to do the same as me and you, CUT EXCESSIVE SPENDING. We do have some federal agencies that are important in todays society. Our borders are an unprotected leaking dam. We have laws in place that must be enforced, and we have jails that are better than some of our own homes with more amenities. Cable TV is not a constitutional right. Jail & prison are for punishment, not a vacation resort. I learned two things while incarcerated, how to not get caught, by people who had been caught. Now thats a laugh. The important thing I learned is that I am not going back. So now I work and don't look over my shoulder. Punishment for crimes should be just that, PUNISHMENT. One standard for all. If I rob a 7-11 and get $50.00, get caught, and go to jail, they man who robs pension funds should go to the same jail, not a federal "country club" prison with the amenities. Oh well I digress somewhat, but you get the drift.

I have had it with all these programs about the BIBLE, I dont think they know much of anything about the BIBLE. I am also beginning to think most Christians don't know much either. If you believe the bible is the true and unfailing WORD of GOD, then how can the book of JOB be older than the book of GENESIS. In the beginning means IN THE BEGINNING. Nothing else could have been written before the beginning. I have heard too many Preachers, with good intentions say that JOB is the oldest written book. HOGWASH, why no one else has said so I don't know. If GENESIS is to be believed, then it was written first, as a first person account of creation. If not, then the BIBLE has told a lie, and nothing after that lie can be believed. I believe the book of GENESIS was a first person account, and was passed down from generation to generation, as a written record of the TRUTH of GOD. Their were 8 or 9 generations of ADAM living when ADAM died. His heirs could talk to him for a first person account of creation. I know that this might anger some people, but you cant have it both ways. I don't have a lot of divinity degrees, or so much tradition shoved down me, that it takes someone to explain to me what the BIBLE means when it says something. The BIBLE is not a mysterious collection of nicely written stories, with some told to scare the children into obedience. However it is a written record of pretty much all that is neccesary for a person of good sense to believe that JESUS is real, and the end of the world, (as we know it), is near. Personally I don't care if you believe me or not, but as a believer I must spread the good news. So in the end it is everyones personal choice whether to believe or not. Just remember this, we all are spirit creatures created to live forever. You will LIVE FOREVER, the question is. WHERE?

I saw yet another TV show about exploration of oil the other night, which started me to wonder about these scientist and their minds. Almost allof these "science" shows talk about the millions or billions of years it takes for oil to be made. (just follow this train of thought OK). Most of these same scientists also believe in the "GEOLIGIC COLUMN" . this geologic column is the way that sediment has deposited over"billions of years" to create different layers of rock. By knowing which layer of rock a fossil is found in determines the age of the fossil. OK you following so far. Now that they have decided the age of the fossil, paleotologists can find a fossil and "knowing" the age of the fossil can date the layer of rock. Are you still with me. This is called circular reasoning. Rock dates fossil dates rock. Not very scientific, but sold to the public as science. The real kicker is with ALL of the core drilling samples taken from all over the world, searches for various ores, precious metals, oil. Probably hundreds of thousands of samples if not millions. They have yet to find one single sample of this "GEOLOGIC COLUMN". You might ask, why haven't they found this "proof of evolution" yet. GOOD QUESTION. This bit of "science" was created in the 1800's, long before any evidence or actual fact. You shouldn't believe everything that you read, here or in science books, go to the library and look it up for yourself. Scientists that believe in evolution slant their findings in order to boost belief in their theories. I believe in creation but I will look at both sides and let science fall on its face in view of real evidence. If you have "scientific proof " of evolution there are several places that offer real big money, $250,000.00 for real proof. The offer has been posted for TEN YEARS and NOBODY has yet shown proof. I would think that some science guy somewhere would at least show up, wouldn't you.

I have returned from a trip to W. Va. where we scattered my brother's ashes as he requested. He wanted them scattered where his fondest memories were, at the old 2 room grade school, around our old house, around our Grandparents house. My brother, sister and I have been seperated by distance for many years, but not seperated in our hearts. We got back together last October here in Apopka. My sister and I hadn't seen each other in thirteen years, my brother and I had been apart 27 years. We hugged and kissed each other and all those years melted away. Yes real men can hug and kiss their brother, that is if you really love each other. We did. The only really sad or bad part of the trip is finding out my Mother and Aunt are still at odds with each other. Hurt feelings and emotional pain are real and the pain cuts deep. Their are only so many years that each of us have here on this earth, they shouldn't be spent in anger or pain. Time will never back up to do it over again. Don't waste any time in anger with your brother or sister or mother or father. It's wasted time and energy. Don't find yourself at the graveside of a family member wishing that you had said something earlier, you can't back up time. Now is the time to say "I love you", "please forgive me". This is not always an easy thing to do, it's not easy to write about this either. I miss my brother so much, and wish that we had more time together. We don't have any more time together, but our time together was time that we loved, no anger, no resentments about time lost. We picked as though we had seen each other the week before, as it should be for all families who are seperated by miles and time. Alas, it is not so for all families. Cherish your time together on this earth, it will not last forever. I had only one brother, now he has passed on. Their is no replacement coming along, in order to be a better brother the next time. We only have this one shot at it, please do the best that you can, leave this world with no regrets. Don't be at the graveside wishing you had said something to mend an old wound. DO IT NOW. LOVE with all your heart. Mitch I love you and miss you.

I really don't understand why people keep poisonous cleaning products in their home after being shown better and safer ones. I have shown couples a bathroom cleaner that is better and safer to use, you can wash your hands in it, and they are amazed. A toilet bowl cleaner that will polish all fixtures safely, you don't need rubber gloves to use this. My neice burned her hand two weeks ago I applied some ointment and while we were talking, all pain ceased, two days later you couldn't tell she had burned herself. This company has Home, Health, and Cleaning products that actually do what they claim, thats amazing isn't it. If you have switched brands of products in these catagories because they didn't live up to the advertising claims, why did you switch back to them after another one failed?? The advertising cost of some home products can be up to 70% of of the retail price. It should make you wonder a little bit about why some companies spend so much on advertising. If you go to the movies because of the advertising blitz and came away disappointed, did you tell people how bad it really was. Most people tell their friends and neighbors, or classmates about a good or bad movie. A  good or bad restaurant. It's called "word of mouth" and it is usually the best form of advertising. That's why customer satisfaction is so important to most GOOD businesses. While some people keep on believing ad campaigns is a mystery to me. There are good reputable companies out there that spend their money on research and development, trying to make a better product. Others spend their money on ads to make you think their product is better. When my two sons were small I found out about these products, got rid of the poison in my house, and took the locks off all the cabinets. The kids could open them easier than me anyway. Explain to me why you have thise things with skull and crossbone warnings, poison control center phone numbers on them. Why are children going to hospitals, or dying from household poisons. Are your children or grandchildren safe from this "accident". WHY NOT!!!!

I have been reading a few other blogs this morning, from those who commented on mine. Thank all of you for your comments. I have been wondering for a long time about going to work for General Motors. I wonder if Ford Motor company would pay my salary, and let me give myself a raise. I don't think they would do that do YOU. Yet we pick, elect, select, Senators and Representatives to work for US, the state of FLORIDA. They are paid from congressional budgets, vote themselves raises, irregardless of their competency. I'm not so sure about that. If our person in congress want to work for the people of our state we have to control the salaries of that position. All states should be paying their reps. in congress, either house, they work for us. The control was lost long ago, we must take back our control, what little we have, by controlling the purse strings. It seems that MOST people in Washington think they have money to spend, they do , it's OUR MONEY. Federal money, ALL OF IT is ours. When our people in Washington don't follow the wishes of their constituency, re-election, and salaries mean a lot more when it is all contained in our State. Think about that.

We wonder sometimes about what is going on with the younger generation that seems to have no respect for life, or a moral center to judge right from wrong. The most likely reasons are found in textbooks at our schools. It may be hard for most people to accept but there is NO CREDIBLE SCIENTIFIC PROOF FOR EVOLUTION. Now having said that I must tell you that all "missing links" have proven to be either a hoax, or with more advances in science they were found to be an extinct variety of ape. The worst example is the one called "LUCY". Lucy was put together from three (3) bones found 100 ft. apart and at two different levels. I don't have room here or the time to go over each one. NEBRASKA MAN, was finally admitted to be a PIG. What we end up with in education is a bunch of people (children) who have been lied to their whole time in school, would you listen to people who have lied to you constantly. Some teachers know the truth but are commanded to teach the lie. All tests have questions that require you to lie in order to pass. Before I moved back here I lived in Indiana, and gave a series of tapes to every teacher in the science department at the high school where my two sons graduated from, the teachers thanked me, watched the tapes, and said they already new most of the material I had given them, but could do nothing. They are required to teach from the textbooks that are bought and paid for with our money. You might ask why not get different textbooks, or inform the publishers of textbooks to correct the problem. That was put to a textbook publisher a few years ago. He was informed about a problem. [ There is a part in your child science book. Look at the book now! The diagrams of the stages of development of a human embryo, a fish embryo, and another embryo. It shows that all three develop in the same manner and at the same time for a short period of embryonic growth. the conclusion drawn is we evolved from the same prehistory something?? This was presented to a prestigious University in France and accepted as further proof of evolution. Six years later the professor was called before the board of regents to again explain his discovery. HE ADMITTED THAT HE MADE UP THE DRAWINGS, THEY WERE NOT TRUE. The admission of the lie occurred in the year 1881. NOT 1981  1881.] This lie has been taught ever since because no evolutionist will admit that possibly, maybe, or theoretically that maybe, possibly, there could be a GOD. They will continue  to lie even in the face of absolute proof that their theory is wrong, or any part of the theory is wrong. While it may be hard to accept that there is a GOD, without an absolute line of right and wrong we will always sliding values. They can only slide downhill. I am not a Bible thumping goofball, if anyone can find a better source of truth let me know. But ask yourself this question (would you read my book on cooking by Emeril or would you read Emeril's book on cooking by Emeril.) Myself I would trust Emeril's book on Emeril wouldn't you. THANK YOU for your feedback. If this doesn't get more people angry we are a pathetic society.

Like most people I have listened to arguments about taxes, business, personal, property and hidden taxes. I will try to talk about my favorite lie concerning taxes. BUSINESS TAXES. Big or little the business does not pay taxes per se. While it is true that many businesses pay taxes on materials they purchase for the finished product they sell. this is all added into the cost of the product they make. Their operating expenses, labor cost, overhead,(utilities, insurance) & misc. expenses, are all added in to the cost of the product. Then the amount of profit is added. After all, if there is no profit, they will go out of business.  Are you with me so far. Adding up ALL expenses and calculating the profit margin, businees then determines the cost. All taxes incurred by the business are included in this cost analysis. When we the consumer buy the product WE pay THEIR TAXES. All businesses operate this way, they have to. If the business owner is not making enough profit, the price of consumer goods increase. If the business owner is facing a tax increase, prices go up. When the cost of fuel went up, the prices increased.I believe most people know this in some form or another. Politicians try to make the people think that increases in business taxes will have no adverse effect on voters, some people buy that bag of nonsense. NOT ME!!      THANK YOU,   the1merk
