Years back when the dot.com hit bottom wall street investors dove into real estate and artificially inflated the prices to where they ruined the market. People now can sell their homes, and home related businesses such as roofers and carpenters and home improvement vendors have gone out of business. Once they sucked that dry they now moved their sites on gas. And look at whats happened. Speculators have driven up the prices beyond what they should be, food prices have gone up, people can't afford to go out and some can't afford to drive to work. What next? They'll invest in water or air and make us pay through the nose for that? Enough is enough.

With gas prices out of control and many people finding it hard even to get to work, do you think we'll see a 55mph speed limit come back? Or at least see them enforce the current speed limits? It's a fact that every 10mph over 60 cuts fuel efficinecy by 10%. On the turnpike and even !-4 the flow seems to be goign at 70mph, with many doing 80, even 90 at times. And it's bad enough SUV's get awful gas mileage to begin with, having them do 80mph makes it even worse. I guess if we can't be reposponsible enough to slow down and conserve fuel, then maybe the cops should start giving out to tickets to make people slow down. Especially SUV's. Slowing everyone down to 60mph could help us cut gas use by 20%. If that drop equated to an equal drop I price you're looking at a 65cent drop per gallon. Of course slowing down would be too much to ask drivers to do.

How come they don't have working blinkers on Hummers? Seems everytime a Hummer has cut me off or jumped in front of me or made any turn or lane changes I have never seen blinkers working? Why doesn't GM fix this. Or is it the fact that anyone driving a Hummer is a mjor a-hole to begin with?

This was interesting to watch. Mike and Juliet and guests discussed relationship turnoffs and somehow the women come out looking like hypocrites. It's about time. Like you like us us to remind you how much we like you, but you admit that when we do you bolt. Women don't like to play games, yet when guys call you don't return calls trying to be hard to get, admitting that you do play games. Women say they don't want to know how big our houses are or what we own, yet in their talkes they admitted the first questions are how much we make.

Of course women don't even want ot address these faults they have.

Figured I'd do a few blogs on things on my mind. First lets talk about the women shown in magazines and movies today. Was looking through an issue of People Style watch (which my girlfreind has, and I have no problem browsing through either) and just noticed just how naturally ugly the majority of woman are. I know they try and coanstantly use flatterign shots of all the starlets but in some it's so obvious just how bad they look.

You do have a few natural beauties like Elizabeth Hurley or Keri Russell but the rest?

My two targets this time are Reese Witherspoon whom VH-1 last year named the sexiest blonde. What were those guys smoking when they compliled that list? Is it the chin that gives Jay Leno a run for it's money, or the wrinkles along her mouth? Or those atrocious fingernails? Whats up with actresses, they get top notch make-up treatments yet their hands make you want to puke.

And the other one on this current issue, Queen Latifah. I thought this was PEOPE magazine not BUFFALO magazine. Who in his right mind can find anythign attractive about her? It reminds me of the kids story about the KIngs new clothes, which were invisible but he was convinced it was a great outfit. Same here. They seem to try and convince us that Queen Latifah is attarctive, they even had her doing make-up commercials. Hey, I have a make-up tip. Put that bag over your face.

What burns me up is how they try to tell us these women are perfect, and most women in todays society rush out to look like them. But look in the mirror. Most average women look better than the women in the magazine. We can stop ata  mall and grab 20 women, have htem in minimal makeup and a cute outfit and they'd be more beautiful than whats in the magazines.

By the way, anyone see the progression they showed of Paris Hiltons boob size going from an A to a C. Seen her face? She looks like the female version of Michael Jackson as soon her face will look like it's about to melt.

A month ago there were a bunch of stations with gas at about $2.05. About the same time the media announced the plummeting price per barrel of oil and we'd see another qurter drop in prices, so we're think finally gas back at $1.80. So a month later I pass one of the stations previously mentioned and see the price is now $2.45. Nice, instead of a 25 cent drop we get an increase of 40 cents. Another $5 extra per fillup. So what the heck brought on this increase? Any mention of regulating the gas companies and we get idle threats that they would ration gas to get back at us. Being how everything in this society is affected by gas, why can't they put the clamps on these out of control oil barons?

As for you guys screaming for alternative fuels and all, yes, great idea, problem is 90% of people cannot afford the cost to buy a brand new hybrid vehicle. Heck, they can't afford these gas price increases.

It's about time one city has the balls to step up and make English the official language. It's amazing how many peopel coem to this country and REFUSE to learn English, yet you travel to most countries in Europe and they make it a priority to know English which is not even their official language.

I'd like to know just why these two even get mentioned on the news? With all the strife and suffering going on in the world, why should we even care what two spoiled brats do? As stupid as they are by portrayong themselves so lowly, we are even dumber for caring. You got two girls, one born rich, the other a redneck with no real talent other than being qualified to work at a strip joint, and they are followed around more than the president himself.

Just who wrote that news blurb on here? It's amazing how much credibility this wack-off is even given, let alone waste space on FOX 35's website. This no-talent losers only claim to fame is beign married another no-talent lip-synching queen.
Why not concentrate on some real talented bands and real musicians who will never get any recognition.

Now I know I'm not the most politically correct person, but I know something rotten when I see it. Tonight's episode of Trading Spouses had an Orthodox Jewish woman trading places with a southern Christian woman. Problem here is that real Christian families do not act the way this redneck mother did. Intolerant of others and so on. As far as I know, real Christian familes would be friendly and open to everyone. The way they shut out this lady initially was pretty bad. Maybe these peopel think that by being a white southern family that they are really Christians. Maybe this showed too much caus eone was Orthodox Jewish while the other was liberal redneck Christian. Probably an Orthodox Christian family would have acted more civil. I guess it's the ratings that count.

Just how does this guy get away with it. The Magic had to pay him $200,000 so he would sabotage the new arena deal? Don't know the full story but the Magic's law firm has been paying money to this guy so he won't go against their proposals? Also he did soem similar to Orceola county concerning the convention center there. It all sounds illegal to me. WHo is this guy?

So the runaway bride now wants money? Like it's not enough that she left the poor guy waiting at the altar, had all these cops searching for her, all cause she got cold feet. And the poor sap had to sit on national tv and say he still loves her. Now she wants money from the mess she created. Why doesn't she go jump off a bridge or something. I pity the fool that gets involved with her.

David Stern must be livid. His entertainment franchise took another blow this morning at the World Championships. After previous defeats at the Worlds and Olympics they installed a special set-up in selecting the best possible team to win the gold and once agin they lost, this time to the tiny country of Greece. So how is it that the 'best' league in the world, a team of all-stars from the best league has been constantly losing? Maybe if the NBA started concentrating on basketaball skills rather than entertaining basketball they'd do better.

Spain versus Greece on Sunday for the REAL World Championship. By the way, the US team had World Champions by way of the NBA's Miami Heat Dwayne Wade. David Stern must be going crazy. His NBA squad lost to a team with not a single NBA player. I love it.
