Fellow Americans we are not the inheritors of this country but the caretakers until the next generation of Americans is ready to take the helm and guide this machine we've created. Now it is time to pick a new president to help lead us out of recession or drag us into depression, to lead us out of war and into peace only history will tell us if we were right,  hindsight is 20 20 our current crop of presidential hopefuls is pathetic all with their own agenda. Obama with his obvious Muslim leanings and lack of experience would be a disaster, Hillary has no visible platform I can see and really don't know where she stands on anything. McCain is a big government no civil rights bigot, we can't afford any mistakes at this point they will without doubt affect us all for years to come we need marches, rallies anything to make those in power with the power to hear us and realize we need new candidates now before the election. I say Florida fair grounds Sunday 06/21/08 at 1:00pm as the starting point for "Hear Us Washington" rally! raise our voices together the many WILL influence the few. If there is positive response to this I'll be there as you all should, be proactive not reactive..remember there are 3 kinds of people, those that make things happen, those that watch things happen and those that wonder what happened. Make your choice Americans the time to act is now!

Americans still have the greatest country in the world with freedoms most of the world just dreams of, However our leaders are shortsighted with oil prices going out of sight, I ask why there aren't national mandatory recycling programs for paper, glass and metals of all types. When I was young a nickel or a dime was given for every glass bottle returned it was voluntary but everyone did it there was money to be made and every grocery store would take them so it was made easy no recycling center in an out of the way place. and why isn't ethanol a national priority we export millions of tons or corn?. most newer cars run on E85 anyway it would significantly reduce our dependence on foreign oil.  We have 3 presidential hopefuls vying for the office of which none of them is worthy. Obama were not ready for a Muslim president taking his oath on the Koran in his country that has 57 states not experienced in politics along with Hillary Clinton she won't make it and McCain is the worst of the 3. We need new candidates a rally of some sort in Orlando to get peoples attention to get out the word were not happy and were not going to take this anymore. all our votes count but this election really sucks no one to vote for. We must speak out be heard or our election will be a scam with one of them winning and all of us the American people losing!  Get up stand up stand up for your rights.....before it's too late!  (Bob Marley)

I can't understand why gas prices are still so high after Katrina prices went up and never came down again, some refineries went down after the storm but come on, it's been over a year and the government can't get a handle on gas prices while big oil companies are enjoying record profits and CEO's are enjoying record salaries, while we are surely getting gouged during the summer driving season further hurting our economy due to not as many Americans are traveling and staying closer to home no hotel rooms rented, empty restaurants nationwide not to mention empty vacation spots around the country it even costs more to fly and this is what they call domestic policy, lame duck get out already he's ruined the country and now he's playing his fiddle while watching his daughter get married while our economy burns! Talk about fantasy he's in denial what does he care he's out of office at the end on the year let someone else clean up the mess, besides he still has to pardon all his cronies like Scooter Libby I know it's going to happen that's why scooter never appealed because his trial will end after George leaves office therefore no pardon so he's just biding his time because he knows his just desserts for taking the fall are coming like a tell all book deal AFTER he's pardoned. don't need a crystal ball to see that one coming. Go George I can see what you'll be remembered for after you leave office the systematic disassembly of our economy, the death of thousands of our young men and women in an unjust unneeded war and the attempted destruction of our basic civil rights.

We are getting close almost down to the wire and we have to make a choice, Obama we're not ready for that kind of change yet beside I'm one of those pesky middle class gun totin middle americans he complains about or is the middle class American an oxymoron now. Hillary is inexperienced but  hopeful, and McCain is a lost cause with his hidden pow/mia files closed with the McCain bill only wonder where American civil rights will go with him in office. This is the country that corrected civil wrongs with civil rights. We need a vote of no confidence and a new crop of presidential candidates and start again. Thank god bush is almost out of office with his lack of vision, foriegn policy and total incompitence in office we need a turn around, like investing in corn or rice based ethenol fuels wind power where appropriate and reduce or eliminate our need for foriegn oil. Medicare  for our citizens not illegals why else do they come here get sick go to the hospital no money no problem just go back to where you came from let our taxes pay for it I say no citizenship no treatment let them go home. It's time we took back our country from politicians and remember America was built on the shoulders of the common man Washington, Lincoln, Roosevelt, Truman all thought they were common men.

If Hillary's not the answer Obama's not the answer and McCain is looking as the best choice boy are we in trouble. Healthcare's is in shambles the wealthy and those on government medicare do well the vanishing middle class just dies ( Those who pay well heal well) the mortgage /realestate industry as well as home values are on the skids, we are in an unjust war (I was in the Navy) , where are all the commisions and marches forcing us to examine the real reasons we're at war and dealing with those issues. Make no mistake I am NOT a bleeding heart liberal but I look at the reality of the issues around me not a head in the sand person. Beleive me if I cound effect change or get my voice out there I would, get me a soap box I'm not afraid of public speaking. But one person can't effect change alone we must all speak out to be heard as one voice only  then will we be heard. Remember WE THE PEOPLE  as the preamble of the consitution starts with wasn't written by me and it applies to all of us or it means NOTHING!  We are the people it's time we took back OUR country if we don't like something we change it, It's time to get a backbone America we need it now!

I am wondering why there are no rallies and marches similar to the ones during the vietnam war. Our economy is in shambles, healthcare is in disarray, gas is at an all time high and I think the lights are on but nobodies home. It's time to impeach Bush NOW get him out before it gets any worse. We are on a knife edge the precipice of a deep recession. We need Bush and cheney out now probably the worst president since Nixon, we need a change, leadership with a plan and a direction, new thinking to move our country into the new millenium.  God help us all.

I am watching the presidential  hopefuls confounding and confusing us with double talk and outright lies and I'm scared there's no one to vote for, there's an inexperienced democratic ticket both with little experience. One a women and the other black and I don't know if the countrys ready for either, and then there's McCain the republicain parties nominee for president a war monger who believes in keeping our young men and women in an unjust unwanted war. (not to mention what he did AFTER he was home from nam)  The countrys in flux with the economy, terrorism and healthcare at the forefront of everybodies lips yet there is no easy solution but I know these presidential hopefuls are not the answer, we need change new leadership with a plan not afraid to buck trends blaze new trails, with a fresh new outlook.
