Madonna has made her dislike for Sarah Palin very clear by banning the politician from attending her world tour.

The singer shared her political views whilst performing a show in New Jersey as part of her Sticky & Sweet tour.

She told the crowd: "Sarah Palin can't come to my party. Sarah Palin can't come to my show. It's nothing personal,"

And this outburst against the Republican party is not the first for Madge.

On her current tour she used John McCain's image in a video clip alongside scences of destruction, global warming, starving children and Adolf Hitler.

A spokesperson for McCain's campaign said Madonna's actions were, “outrageous, unacceptable and crudely divisive all at the same time.”

It seems the superstar is walking a fine line.

My fellow bloggers, I think we're ungrounded.  I was just able to post something without having to wait for approval.  Is everyone ungrounded?  Anyone still getting the approval thingie?

President Bush has lifted the executive-branch moratorium on off shore drilling.  Oil prices then (almost immediately) dropped $9.00 (6.3%).  The Congressional moratorium expires September 30th.  I'll be interested to see what happens.  I love good news!

Some dim-whit in Utah actually locked herself inside her car and had to call police for help.  She was apparently unable to figure out that if she  just flipped  the switch she could unlock the car door herself.

Proof positive that common sense is in fact truly dead.

My cousin just emailed me that the following companies have filed for bankruptcy. If you have gift cards to them use them ASAP!

Hollywood Video
Levitz
Sharper Image
Performance Team Freight
Linens n Things
Circuit City
Bed, Bath and Beyond

IMAO - About the only one I would ever buy anything from is Circuit City. I guess they were unable to compete with Best Buy when the market got rough. I think more and more brick and mortar stores will be closing because internet shopping is just so much easier, nicer and more enjoyable.

School uniform sexy, says group

KUALA LUMPUR: A Malaysian group condemned the uniform worn by girls at government schools, saying it encouraged rape and pre-marital sex.

If these men are so sick as to be tempted to rape or molest girls because of a white blouse, they need to be in jail.  There is plenty of temptation in this world.  A person is not justified in their actions due to being tempted.  What a bunch of sick folks.  So I just have to ask, are Muslim men lower in moral standards than rabid dogs?

A ruling has been handed down in the Yearning For Zion ranch custody case that the state had no right to seize the children  they are currently holding.  No word yet as to when the children will be returned to their parents.

I was just poking through the news today and came across an article that says that a study shows that Conservatives are happier then Liberals because we are more rational.  LMAO - I could've told them that.

Just curious, but how many people out there are really having trouble affording health insurance?

We had to make that decision about a year and a half ago.  We ended up going for a high deductible (catastrophe) insurance plan for the big stuff and a Health Savings Account for the little stuff.  This has worked out really for us.  Right now my husband's insurance is covered by his employer, but they wanted to charge us through the darn nose ($250.00 + per paycheck - every other week) to cover the two kids and myself.  So I started looking into everything I could find.  I now pay $177.41 per month for the insurance and another $80 goes into the HSA so that when I need it, it's there.  I found a pretty good program through a bank that doesn't charge any fees for the HSA account and also gives me a small (very small) bit of interest on top of that.

Anyway, that is my personal healthcare solution.  It seems to be working out very well for us.  I even am able to deduct whatever I spend out of the HSA from my taxes at the end of the year.

This is an odd coincidence:

The "person of interest" who is suspected to have made the call for help in the YFZ Ranch case's name is listed as an Obama delegate in El Paso County, Colorado, Precinct #269.  No word yet on weather they are the same person or not.  It is a pretty unusual name, though.

Is anyone else following the YFZ Ranch investigations going on in Texas?

While I absolutely abhor polygamy because of it's negative effects on women, I am not totally buying the story being presented.  I thought the reason for law enforcement going in there in the first place was due to a 16 yr old's complaint of being abused.  While I absolutely agree with trying to help anyone is such an awful situation, removing every single child in the place seems a bit harsh if that is the case.  Not allowing the children's mothers to have any contact with them seems to be not in the children's or mother's best interest.  Also, why are they having such a hard time finding the 16yr old?  Does she exist?  Why are some of the children's mothers not allowed to see their children?  What good does that do?  Is that legal or is that guilt by association?  There seems to be much missing information.

My fellow bloggers, what do you think?

Remember the Philly cheese steak shop that had the sign which read "When ordering please speak English"?  The Pro-illegal crowd took the owner to court and LOST!

Why am I not hearing about this on the lamestream news?

Sent home in shame, the British commandos who stripped naked for crass stunt in a foreign bar By MATTHEW HICKLEY and ALLAN HALL - More by this author » Last updated at 01:06am on 4th March 2008

Eight British Commandos have been flown home in disgrace for stripping naked and engaging in appalling behaviour in a Norwegian bar during an Arctic training exercise.

The men disgusted onlookers in the town of Harstad with a drunken game of "naked bar".

After whipping off their clothes, they urinated on each other - splashing other customers and furniture - before slurring insults and abuse.

Furious senior officers ordered the soldiers, from the Army's 59 Independent Commando Squadron Royal Engineers, back home to face disciplinary action.

...talk about conduct unbefitting an officer, this takes the cake!  The article goes on to say that they will probably only face a fine since there was no violence or dishonesty.  Just really disgusting and stupid.

We are getting a lot of feedback that Democratic leaders in the House are getting discouraged by the huge outpouring of public disapproval of news that Speak Pelosi is considering a 5-year amnesty for most illegal aliens, plus huge increases in foreign worker visas.

Also, Rep. Heath Shuler (D-N.C.) is standing firm in the face of tremendous pressures from within his Party to make compromises.

We now have 48 House Democrats standing against Pelosi and her open-borders wing of the Democratic Party -- 48 Democrats signed on to Shuler's SAVE Act (H.R. 4088) that would have three layers of employment verification that would effectively drive most illegal aliens out of American jobs.

But at the moment of greatest opportunity, it is the REPUBLICAN leaders in the House who are holding things up.

If they would get behind a Discharge Petition (that would force a vote on H.R. 4088 on the House floor), there now appear enough Democrats to get the 218 required signatures. In other words, the minority Party could force a vote.

But the Republican House leaders are dragging their feet out of various petty political considerations and perhaps as a favor to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Already 90 House Republicans have signed H.R. 4088, led by Rep. Brian Bilbray (R-Calif.), the chairman of the Congressional Immigration Reform Caucus.

Friends, this is not the time to let up. Rep. Shuler believes he has a chance to pass this great enforcement bill to truly reduce the illegal population in our communities.
