Oprah has decided against having Sarah Palin on her show for an interview.   I hope her ratings totally tank due to it.  On the other hand, people who actually watch shows like that and "The View" are usually not conservatives and are generally totally for crib to crypt government.  Most probably don't even know when the election is, let alone any real issues on the table.

Like I have said before, THEIR TRUE COLORS!

Oprah does deny that she doesnt want Palin on her show by the way. She said that she was going to wait until after the election to bring her on.

The main reasons for her not inviting Sarah onto her show is because first, she is the wrong color and secondly, Sarah will easily show that Oprah should stay the hell out of politics. There is no question Oprah can ask of Sarah without Sarah stuffing it back in her face.

Would Sarah even want to be on the show? That is the question that should have been asked first. We would have not heard the end of it if SArah had dissed the big O.

I think your right RL. I can't see Sarah Palin lowering herself that much by going on smut-TV.

However, IF Sarah Palin was a Democrat, she would have already been booked for several appearances!! Just another "celeb" prostituting herself for her politics.

Why are some of the republicans here trying to turn everything into a race issue? This is not about race.

"OPRAH" IS BACKER AND A BIG FAN OF "OBAMA" AT ONE TIME SHE DID THINK ABOUT DROPING THAT BECAUSE HER RATINGS DROPED 8/10 PTS.
I DON'T KNOW OF ANY REASON FOR SARAH PALIN TO BE ON HER SHOW. OR GOING ON THE VIEW IF ASKED. BOTH SHOWS ARE FOR OBAMA.

McCain's people said the other nite nothing has been requested or talked about being on Oprah's show.

Cynpro, All I am saying is what has already been said on the left. I didn't start the race thing, your fair haired empty suit did and further he claims to be African. That alone is an insult to the true African Americans. But too many people can't comprehend the difference and can not see beyond the color of his skin.

Governor Palin has too much class to go on Oprah's sleazy show.
I don't think she would now, and I am sure she wouldn't after the election.

Have any of you actually viewed the Oprah show? Despite her personal views, her show is primarily catered to Caucasian housewives and/or middle to upper class Caucasian women. Her audience consists of primarily Caucasian women, ages ranging from mid 20's to early 60's. I personally don't watch...too much fluff...but my 32 year old Caucasian wife (Oprah's core audience) watches regularly and even owns boxed DVD sets. And, she(my wife) is a large fan and supporter of Sarah Palin. (just another example of humans being able to enjoy and/or appreciate two contrasting things)

Ooohh a caucasian! LOL I like Oprah. I think she's great. I do wish she could have stayed out of backing a politician though. I think it will hurt her in the long run.

If Oprah doesn't like her Palin MUST be wonderful!

Maybe she is viewed as a threat to Oprah's self-proclaimed goddess status as the head of her own new religion.

CynPro - it's not about race? If Obama were white, he'd have been crucified for the things he's done...especially that racist church...
Race is very much a part of it. However, race aside, the guy's an incompetent idiot...that's much more noticeable than his color.

Oprah is ENTIRELY within her rights to back who she pleases,,have on her show who she pleases and REFUSE to have on her show who she pleases,,for ANY reason..

And Americans,,who have MADE her what she IS today,, can decide whether to watch her show or NOT..ALSO for ANY reason..

Free Speech works BOTH ways..

What I dont understand is this..

When this story aired on the Greta Van Susteran show. She had a poll about this very thing and NEARLY 80% of the viewers said that Oprah was racist for not having Palin on her show. Now to me that is ridiculous! Just because she doesnt want to have someone on her show doesnt make her a racist. And plus. Oprah has not has any Presidential candidate on her show since this campaign started and she said that she wouldnt. Oh yeah Obama was on before but that was before he announced his run for the White House! She said that she will bring Palin on after the election. now I dont watch Oprah but I am just tired of all of this turning into a race thing. and they say Blacks are more racist. Racism can be divided equally among the races but I can tell you this. America isnt ready for a change just yet. We complain about Palin and we complain about Obama. It seems to me that if the person who is running for the White House isnt White or a man, America as a whole isnt ready for him OR her!!

Wasn't she supposed to be behgind Hillary too I guess she showed her treu colors..
She doesn't belong in politics.
I recall when she had tried to get a large hall for her Obama push but the people who had scheduled it for their wedding woukld not give it up.
Proves that money cant always win out except in politics.
As rich as she is don't know why she wanted to get with Obama anyhow.
Maybe mr asphalt can get on her show he seems to like her and Obama a lot.

Afelt, Oprah clearly, publicly, stated that she endorses Obama. It seems you have ignored that, or missed it.

That means it would be quite impossible for Governor Palin to appear on her show.

Oprah is NOT impartial.

She also was claimed to be aupportor of womens issues.
I know she endorsed Obama DF it eems she dropped her choice over Hillary for obviuos reasons.
She too enjoys the limelight as does her saviour OHbamma!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't KNOW that one could reasonably call Oprah a racist for this..I agree that it says a lot about her that she SAYS that she won't have either of them on the show until AFTER the election..THAT'S Fair..
However,, it must ALSO be noted that although he hadn't as yet announced his candidacy..THEY were talking about that possibility on her show..Make of THAT what you will..

On the OTHER hand,,I find it INTERRESTING that SHE has NOT had Tiger Woods on her show after HE refused to be Identified AT OPRAH'S INSISTANCE as THE Icon of Black Superiority in Sports..
Make of THAT what you will too...

Well I guess we wikll have to wait and see it a long way to november and we will be constantly swamped by media glamorizing and showboating their views as one sided as they usually are but lets face it the media is liberal a is Obama so thats probably to be expected..
We are fortunate we live here where else could we express our views???

The point that I was trying to make Frank is that its not wrong for a person to not invite someone on their show. I know that she endorse Obama but just because she doesnt want Palin on her show, she shouldnt be labeled a racist. I know on here no one really said that she is racist but on other blogs i have seen them call her that and to me thats wrong.

Did she endorse Obama simply because of percieved race? (Obama is half muslim, not African)

No apology necessary afelt. I pretty much know your views from blogging with you here.

To reiterate, she is not racist, but she is most certainly biased. She has publicly endorsed Obama. She cannot be impartial to ANY other candidate. Because Obama is considered black by many, Oprah's endorsement may be construed as racist. Maybe she just likes his ideas, and it has nothing to do with the color of his skin? I don't know what his ideas are myself. Do you?

But because of her very public endorsement of Obama, it is quite obvious she cannot be an impartial host for any that are opposing Obama.
She would have the Vice President on her show AFTER the election. In her dreams!
