Remember the Philly cheese steak shop that had the sign which read "When ordering please speak English"?  The Pro-illegal crowd took the owner to court and LOST!

Why am I not hearing about this on the lamestream news?

The owner was on Lou Dobbs tonight, what a great interview. The government told him to take the sign down and he told the Gov. NO! and he said they didn't know what to do because they aren't used to people telling them no.

Oops, I realized after posting this that someone else had posted the article earlier. Sorry! I didn't realize at the time because it was a long post, and you all know I like short and sweet.

It's been a good week though. The NRA seems to have made headway with the DC gun ban and then this victory. (knocking on wood)

YAY! English still rules in Philadelphia!

People still have the right to own firearms in DC!

Two more strikes for American freedom! YAY!!

I love it!

Candy, the communists are the lawyers and the people they represent that think they have the right to force a legitimate bussiness owner to relenquish his language or customs to please someone who speaks a foreign language. There are places where AMERICAN's are turned down for work because they only speak ENGLISH, that in my belief, is the liberal/ communist/ legal bulls**t that needs to end, NOW !

candy, my comments at times can seem cryptic, sometimes that's intentional and sometimes it's not. I don't mind answering questions, so you don't have to appoligize. I 've worked with a good many people over the years, who's first language hasn't been English. They had either learned enough to be fluent or were working hard to improve there skill in a new language. None of them have required that I learn another language. At work the guys that speak Spanish, talk to the native citizens in English. That works fine for me, if they communicate with each other in Spanish I don't care. These guys are all legals, if they're doing things the right way, who am I to stand in their way ? Many of these men I would consider a friend. We have a job to do and we do it well. We have a pretty good time at it as well !

hey Meb I hear you..trust me...at times I can't speak either lol.....but I do agree and I also get very upset when people demand they speak spanish when they LIVE in america...so I an not a favorite in either side I guess but I am not worrying about it either. My sister in law has been here a year this coming August and she speaks well English she has never complained to me about people NOT LEARNING SPANISH..and I think that's an idiotic idea that has been lurking in the mentality of the elected officials that are spanish and start this crap..FOR THAT....I AM VERY HAPPY TO SEE THE VERDICT IN THIS CASE.
