for those prepping for the oncoming storms. remember the list they give you does NOT contain a standard telephone or rabbit ears! even if your phone lines aren't down, with NO power, your cordless phone is a useless piece of junk! and if your cable takes a hit, guess what! NO TV! unless you have the old rabbit ears antenna. don't wait until the storms hit to purchase these items necessary to stay in touch with the outside.

Got all that covered and then some! I make sure we are propare all the time because you never know what could happen! Mother Nature is showing her anger over what has been done and what continues to be done to her!

Good one pole. The corded telephone is a must. You can get one for $ 5.00 at Walgreens. Cell phones were not so reliable after Charlie. I also buy big jugs of Hawaiian Punch and save them when they are finished. If a hurricane is predicted, I fill them with water. I also fill the tubs to use for toilet flushing. My stash of smokes and cokes is always full during hurricane season. DON'T fill your freezer with alot of expensive items. Tossing them is a very sad thing!

Came to Florida in the late sixties on a bike, lived in Orlando since early 70's, I'm ex-military, still ride a motorcycle.don't intend to let cagers or the congestion stop me. and I always wear a helmet, carry insurance and a piece legally.
