A sharp contrast in disasters

As you watch the television coverage of the flooding in the Midwest , have you noticed that there are no farmers running around with stolen plasma TVs or holding stolen liquor over their heads?

 

 

 

 

There's no looting or yelling "Where's Bush?", "Where's FEMA?,  Where's my check?", or  "Why isn't the Gov't out here saving me and my farm?"

Likewise, you may also have noticed that there are no reports of any other country coming to help or sending aid.

 

 

 

 

Where are Reverends Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton?

 

 

 

 

Shocking contrast isn't it???!!!!

Yeah, come to think of it, you are right! Where is Geraldo holding up the poor lady in the wheelchair..where is Shep Smith crying while he is holding up a baby in front of the camera? And where or where are all of those celebrities rowing around in boats with big camera crews following them and filming? Where oh where are those pathetic elitist snobs? Don't they care about farmers in Mo. and Ia.? Wait until the flood waters of the Muddy Miss get to NOLA.

I'm sure they are being helped. Not a lot being reported on it. No one trying to get in the lime-light to help out is all. There's sure to be some "Brand New" patriotic song about how the "Great Mississippi" washed their dreams away. It will come, in time. Maybe around Christmas. Well both disasters came about from WATER. Are you saying we should fix New Orleans, LA and ignore these other states? We do understand, government should help devastated areas, no matter what state, or what force of nature causes the emergency.
