obama is a catholic?

If Obama is a christian, as he says he is, why didn't he take the oath of office for congress and the senate by placing his hand on a bible?? He chose the Koran because he believes in that religon. Another question I have is,  his TV add states he made laws helping the poor and helping wounded G.I."s. What laws were these?? He has never  even proposed a new law in congress. Why doesn't the liberal news call him on these mistatements.

Because they are also backing him! He's a Pipe Piper gathering all his little sucker rats! Kinda reminds me of another Jim Jones! He's a lier, a racist, a sweet talker, and no kind of christian! He talks the talk but has shown any kind of walking the walk! All I have to say to those supporters is Be careful what you wish for!

Eyes do not lie and his eyes are filled with betrayal and hidden agendas! He has a very dark side about him! Claimed Christians are the ones to be more deceived because they forget that the devil himself was also a mistaking beautiful and sweet talking man! Once he had you following him, then the darkness of evil was truly revealed! They will get more then what they are praying for...much more then they will be able to handle and they will only have themselves to place blame!

Why oh why do I keep finding myself having to squash rumors like this for a guy I don't like?

Folks, Obama did NOT swear into office using the Koran, he swore on the bible. The only person I'm aware of who DID swear into office using the Koran was Congressman Keith Ellison. Might want to google him. Not exactly a guy on my favorites list either.

JD is right , please people we can hate on the facts we do not have to add to his strength by accusing him of stuff he did not do...He does have a “Monkey god” charm in his pocket , he did dress like a terrorist when he visited Africa and he did attend a Madras for 5 years as a child (age 6 to 11 in the Philippines and he would probably have finished his education from the Quran if his mom had not moved on to Hubby number three at the time!)
And yes it was scum bag K Ellison who has NEVER taken an other of office because he is just to good to do what all Americans have done for 200 years !

what is dressing like a terrorist RNC? Sorry I am not picking on you just asking a question. Obama dressed in traditional African dress. Thats not a dress of a terrorist.

Now I am going to have to go back and look up the name of the “group” ...but the garb he wore was a very poor choice because its color denotes a militant Islamic court guard . On that one I am willing to believe that he just did not know what the heck he was doing ! But not just saying that he did not know that we was donning the “Blood of martyrs” uniform after the story broke was a mistake as well ! In Africa there are is “traditional garb” and then there is Tradition garb ...like wearing red or blue in the wrong part of LA/NY LOL

That was a traditional Somali chieftan garb that he was asked to wear back in 2006. Out of politeness, he wore it. Kind of like how Bush, among other world leaders, wore those traditional Vietnamese(?) garbs a few years back. He looked terrible. White guys don't pull that look off too well.

Anyway, terrorism had nothing to do with it.

Come to think of it Obama's biggest problem (on a personal level) is that he just does not know how to say he was wrong , The Reverend Write thing the Comments on Christians /NASCAR fans etc. all he has to do is say “I made a mistake” and or “that is not what I meant” but he has to be beaten to a pulp before he will say it ...
I will always hate his political ideas (I hated them from Howard Dean and Hillary Clinton why would I like them from him) but as a “person” I find him a bit stubborn and even arrogant in his defensive posture of things he winds up not able to defend.
But it is very possible that we are being “played” and getting us to fight him on such trivia is exactly what he wants as a distraction from attacking his policy.

Thanks JD ..it is the color that makes this one controversial . The color RED is used by the enforcer wing of the “ICU” in north Africa and Obama made the mistake of getting photographed alone ...its not like we see a number of members of his party in different traditional garb so as you see in the pic he is just wearing a garb that can be associated with a very bad group !

Afelton, I've had that problem from time to time myself, but I don't know why it does that. I use the "Photobucket" website myself for most of my pictures. I've only recently figured out how to post pictures and YouTube videos on the comments. I still don't know how to post links on comments though.

the world leaders with the dresses were on a diplomatic mission. Obama went to africa to visit his dad the deserter of his family. That's a heck of a differance. I wonder, if we the public paid for that trip??

THe media is in the tank for Obama... MSNBC is the worst. But now the socialist left (huffington, moveon, dailykos) even are turning on him for his rethink of Iraq.

I high lighted in my Obama is a Liar ... again.... post, he even said he helped with welfare reform.... and HE DIDNT.

Deal with FACTS, people, not with rumors, hearsay or racist propaganda. Senator Obama didn't take the oath of office on the Bible -- Congressman Ellison, an American Muslim, did. And learn the United States Constitution while you're at it: it says, loud and clear, "no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States." That's the law of our land; real patriots still believe in it and abide by it.

Oh Boy! I can't believe the stupidity here! Why are Americans so dumb? Starting rumors like the one saying Obama took the oath of office on the Koran, not the bible! Geez! What kind of idiot would believe that? FOLKS, HE IS NOT A MUSLIM!! He is a Christian, the only one of the presidential contenders who has remained faithful to ONE WIFE his whole life, unlike McCain (who cheated on his first wife with current wife Cindy), and Guiliani who is on his 3rd wife (what a dirt bag that guy is)! Wake up folks! You finally have the chance to have an INTELLIGENT, HONEST president with Obama! Be glad he is running! He's the best man for the job who has stepped up to the plate in decades!!
