Fox, I think I can speak for several of us bloggers when I ask that you please delete the delete button. When we post something that is against the grain of the person posting a blog, they simply delete it without sharing the view of others. Most all bloggers use common sense in their reply, but there are some that refuse to hear what others have to say if it is not along their lines of thought.       Thank you for your assistance......

I just had a thought that sounds like a great idea. If all the UAW members and auto manufacterers managment were to take a manditory 25% cut in salaries, that would bail out the entire industry in a heartbeat. Everybody knows they earn far too much for what little work they do, so why not help themselves keep their jobs instead of having the rest of the country kick in to help them. I'm sure many factory worker in a Michigan auto plant is earning well over $100,000 per year for a job that should pay far less. This would help the country and the auto industry by lowering the prices of new vehicles and keep the factories open and functioning. The pension plans also are out of control because of the lobbying from the UAW. There is not much that can be done now about those who have already retired, but effective say 5 years down the road, those retirement plans need to be changed to a more realistic level. (I worked long hard years as a firefighter with an excellent retirement plan but it is not even close to what those UAW retirees recieve) I am not at all jealous, I just feel it is way way to high and that is also contributing to their downfall.                     Just my thoughts, any ideas??

Now, there's a story for you libs to jump on, it's just your speed.

I just wrote a post to cynpros blog just to see how long it would take for her to delete it. I beleive it has to be a record time. After writing and posting, I took my morning shower. When I immediatly came back to my computer, I checked and sure enough, it was gone. How's that for a record?

Several times now, I have posted a reply to Cynpros blogs and everytime I do, it is deleted immediatly.  My latest post was that if she cannot stand the heat, she should get out of the kitchen. This is supposed to be a friendly excersize in banter, however, some people (Cynpro or UCFpoliguru) are taking it far too seriously.  Am I wrong here or is there a hidden agenda that I am not aware of? I'd appreciate your reply and accept comments from all.

This is only one State...............If this doesn't open your eyes nothing
will !

 From the L. A. Times

 1.      40% of all workers in L. A. County (L. A. County has 10.2 million
people)are working for cash and not paying taxes. This is because they are
predominantly illegal immigrants working without a green card.

 2.     95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.

 3.     75% of people on the most wanted list in Los Angeles are illegal
 aliens.

4.      Over 2/3 of all births in Los Angeles County are to illegal alien
Mexicans on Medi-Cal , whose births were paid for by taxpayers.

 5.     Nearly 35% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican
 nationals here
illegally

 6.         Over 300,000 illegal aliens in Los Angeles County are living in garages.

 7.         The FBI reports half of all gang members in Los Angeles are most likely
illegal aliens from south of the border.

 8.     Nearly 60% of all occupants of
HUD properties are illegal.

 9.      21 radio stations in L. A. are Spanish speaking.

 10.        In L. A. County 5.1 million people speak English, 3.9  million speak
 Spanish.
(There are 10.2 million people in L. A. County. )

(All 10 of the above are from the Los Angeles Times)

Less than 2% of illegal aliens are picking our crops, but 29% are on
welfare.

Over 70% of the United States' annual population growth (and over
90% of California, Florida, and New York) results from immigration.   29%
of inmates in federal prisons are illegal aliens.

We are a bunch of fools for letting this continue

 HOW CAN YOU HELP ?

Send copies of this letter to at least two other people.  100 would be even
 better.

This is only one State...............
If this doesn't open your eyes nothing will!

And you wonder why Nancy Pelosi wants them to become voters!

Can anyone tell me where I can sign up for all the freebes from FEMA? Hurricane fay has destroyed my home, car, and everything else in my life. It ruined my plazma tv, three computers, two new vehicles, brand new refrigerator and range, complete living room furniture and two bedroom suites. I need money for relief (lots of it too). I lost my job because of the hurricane too. Where can I go to sign up?  OH, and yeah, I also lost all my medical coverage too. By the way, I am in Ocala but want to relocate to someplace nice and warm year round where I don't have to work NO MO.

Thanks, and I'll be waiting for your help FEMA.

SCHOOL ANSWERING MACHINE Some people were offended! This is the message that the Pacific Palisades High School California staff voted unanimously to record on their school telephone answering machine. This is the actual answering machine message for the school. This came about because they implemented a policy requiring students and parents to be responsible for their children's absences and missing homework. The school and teachers are being sued by parents who want their children's failing grades changed to passing grades - even though those children were absent 15-30 times during the semester and did not complete enough school work to pass their classes.   The outgoing message: Hello! You have reached the automated answering service of your school. In order to assist you in connecting to the right staff member, please listen to all the options before making a selection: To lie about why your child is absent - Press 1 To make excuses for why your child did not do his work -Press 2 To complain about what we do - Press 3 To swear at staff members - Press 4 To ask why you didn't get information that was already enclosed in your newsletter and several fliers mailed to you - Press 5 If you want us to raise your child - Press 6 If you want to reach out and touch, slap or hit someone - Press 7 To request another teacher, for the third time this year - Press 8 To complain about bus transportation - Press 9 To complain about school lunches - Press 0 If you realize this is the real world and your child must be accountable and responsible for his/her own behavior, class work, homework and that it's not the teachers' fault for your child's lack of effort: Hang up and have a nice day! If you want this in Spanish, move to a country that speaks it!

I just received this e mail and thought I'd pass it on for your reading pleasure.

Subject: Letter to the Editor

>>
>>
>>The following letter appeared in Letters to the Editor in the Richmond
>>Times Dispatch, Richmond, VA on July 7, 2008.  Its well written and worth
>>thinking about during this political season.
>>
>>
>>
>>Beware Charismatic Men Who Preach 'Change'
>>
>>Editor, Times-Dispatch:
>>
>>     Each year I get to celebrate Independence Day twice.  On June 30 I
>> celebrate my Independence Day and on July 4 I celebrate America's.  This
>> year is special, because it marks the 40th anniversary of my
>> independence.
>>     On June 30, 1968, I escaped Communist Cuba and a few months later I
>> was in the United Sates to stay.  That I happened to arrive in Richmond
>> on Thanksgiving Day is just part of the story, but I digress.
>>     I've thought a lot about the anniversary this year.  The
>> election-year rhetoric has made me think a lot about Cuba and what
>> transpired there.  In the late 1950s, most Cubans thought Cuba needed a
>> change, and they were right.  So when a young leader came along, every
>> Cuban was at least receptive.
>>     When the young leader spoke eloquently and passionately and denounced
>> the old system, the press fell in love with him.  They never questioned
>> who his friends were or what he really believed in.  When he said he
>> would help the farmers and the poor and bring free medical care and
>> education to all, everyone followed.  When he said he would bring justice
>> and equality to all, everyone said "Praise the Lord."  And when the young
>> leader said, "I will be for change and I'll bring you change," everyone
>> yelled, "Viva Fidel!"
>>     But nobody asked about the change, so by the time the executioner's
>> guns went silent the people's guns had been taken away.  By the time
>> everyone was equal, they were equally poor, hungry, and oppressed.  By
>> the time everyone received their free education it was worth nothing.  By
>> the time the press noticed, it was too late, because they were now
>> working for him.  By the time the change was finally implemented Cuba had
>> been knocked down a couple of notches to Third-World status.  By the time
>> the change was over more than a million people had taken to boats, rafts,
>> and inner tubes.  You can call those who made it ashore anywhere else in
>> the world the most fortunate Cubans.  And now I'm back to the beginning
>> of my story.
>>     Luckily, we would never fall in America for a young leader who
>> promised change without asking, what change?  How will you carry it out?
>> What will it cost America?
>>     Would we?

Subject: Fwd: TAKING DOWN THE STATUE OF LIBERTY

  Orange  County  California  Newspaper

This  is a very good letter to the editor. This woman made some good points.

For some reason, people  have difficulty structuring their arguments when arguing against  supporting the currently proposed immigration revisions. This lady made  the argument pretty simple. NOT printed in the  Orange  County  Paper..................

Newspapers simply won't  publish letters to the editor which they either deem politically  incorrect (read below) or which do not agree with the philosophy they're  pushing on the public. This woman wrote a great letter to the editor  that should have been published; but, with your help it will get  published via cyberspace!
From: 'David  LaBonte'

My wife, Rosemary, wrote a  wonderful letter to the editor of the OC Register which, of course, was  not printed. So, I decided to 'print' it myself by sending it out on the  Internet. Pass it along if you feel so inclined. Written in response to  a series of letters to the editor in the  Orange  County  Register:

Dear  Editor:

So  many letter writers have based their arguments on how this land is made  up of immigrants. Ernie Lujan for one, suggests we should tear down the  Statue of Liberty  because the people now in question aren't being treated the same as  those who passed through Ellis  Island  and other ports of entry.
Maybe we should turn to our  history books and point out to people like Mr. Lujan why today's  American is not willing to accept this new kind of immigrant any longer.  Back in 1900 when there was a rush from all areas of Europe to come to  the United States, people had to get off a ship and stand in a long line  in New York and be documented. Some would even get down on their hands  and knees and kiss the ground. They made a pledge to uphold the laws and  support their new country in good and bad times. They made learning  English a primary rule in their new American households and some even  changed their names to blend in with their new home.

They had waved good bye to  their birthplace to give their children a new life and did everything in  their power to help their children assimilate into one culture.. Nothing  was handed to them. No free lunches, no welfare, no labor laws to  protect them. All they had were the skills and craftsmanship they  had brought with them to trade for a future of prosperity.

Most of their children came  of age when World War II broke out. My father fought along side men  whose parents had come straight over from  Germany,  Italy,  France  and Japan.  None of these 1st generation Americans ever gave any thought about what  country their parents had come from. They were Americans fighting  Hitler, Mussolini and the Emperor of  Japan.  They were defending the United  States of America  as one people.

When we liberated  France,  no one in those villages were looking for the French-American or the  German American or the Irish American. The people of  France  saw only Americans. And we carried one flag that represented one  country. Not one of those immigrant sons would have thought about  picking up an other country's flag and waving it to represent who they  were. It would have been a disgrace to their parents who had sacrificed  so much to be here. These immigrants truly knew what it meant to be an  American. They stirred the melting pot into one red, white and blue  bowl.

And here we are in 2008  with a new kind of immigrant who wants the same rights and privileges  Only they want to achieve it by playing with a different set of rules,  one that includes the entitlement card and a guarantee of being faithful  to their mother country. I'm sorry, that's not what being an American is  all about. I believe that the immigrants who landed on Ellis Island in  the early 1900's deserve better than that for all the toil, hard work  and sacrifice in raising future generations to create a land that has  become a beacon for those legally searching for a better life. I think  they would be appalled that the y are being used as an example by those  waving foreign country flags.

And for that suggestion  about taking down the Statue of  Liberty  , it happens to mean a lot to the citizens who are voting on the  immigration bill. I wouldn't start talking about dismantling the  United  States  just yet.

(signed) Rosemary  LaBonte

KEEP THIS LETTER MOVING.  FOR THE WRONG THINGS TO PREVAIL THE RIGHTFUL MAJORITY NEEDS TO REMAIN  COMPLACENT AND QUIET!!

LET THIS NEVER HAPPEN!!

I sincerely hope this  letter gets read by millions of people all across the  nation!!

I think this has been around before, but it is well worth the read again.

Lt. Gen. Chuck Pitman USMC (ret)

BRAVO !!!

Read all the way down. This guy has hit it on the head!

This 'Letter of Apology' was written by Lieutenant General Chuck Pitman, US Marine Corps, Retired:

For good and ill, the Iraqi prisoner abuse mess will remain an issue. On the one hand, right thinking Americans will abhor the stupidity of the actions while on the other hand, political glee will take control and fashion this minor event into some modern day massacre.

I humbly offer my opinion here:

I am sorry that the last seven times we Americans took up arms and sacrificed the blood of our youth; it was in the defense of Muslims ( Bosnia , Kosovo, Gulf War 1, Kuwait , etc.)

I am sorry that no such call for an apology upon the extremists came after 9/11.

I am sorry that all of the murderers on 9/11 were Islamic Arabs.

I am sorry that most Arabs and Muslims have to live in squalor under savage dictatorships.

I am sorry that their leaders squander their wealth.

I am sorry that their governments breed hate for the US in their religious schools, mosques, and government-controlled media.

I am sorry that Yasser Arafat was kicked out of every Arab country and high-jacked the Palestinian 'cause.'

I am sorry that no other Arab country will take in or offer more than a token amount of financial help to those same Palestinians.

I am sorry that the USA has to step in and be the biggest financial supporter of poverty stricken Arabs while the insanely wealthy Arabs blame the USA for all their problems.

I am sorry that our own left wing, our media, and our own brainwashed masses do not understand any of this (from the misleading vocal elements of our society like radical professors, CNN and the NY TIMES).

I am sorry the United Nations scammed the poor people of Iraq out of the 'food for oil' money so they could get rich while the common folk suffered.

I am sorry that some Arab governments pay the families of homicide bombers upon their death

I am sorry that those same bombers are brainwashed thinking they will receive 72 virgins in 'paradise.'

I am sorry that the homicide bombers think pregnant women, babies, children, the elderly and other noncombatant civilians are legitimate targets.

I am sorry that our troops die to free more Arabs from the gang rape rooms and the filling of mass graves of dissidents of their own making.

I am sorry that Muslim extremists have killed more Arabs than any other group.

I am sorry that foreign trained terrorists are trying to seize control of Iraq and return it to a terrorist state.

I am sorry we don't drop a few dozen Daisy cutters on Fallujah.

I am sorry every time terrorists hide they find a convenient 'Holy Site.'

I am sorry they didn't apologize for driving a jet into the World Trade Center that collapsed and severely damaged Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church - one of our Holy Sites.

I am sorry they didn't apologize for flight 93 and 175, the USS Cole, the embassy bombings, the murders and beheadings of Nick Berg and Daniel Pearl, etc....etc!

I am sorry Michael Moore is American; he could feed a medium sized village in Africa .

America will get past this latest absurdity. We will punish those responsible because that is what we do.

I am sorry the Barack Hussein Obama may be elected president of the United States when he doesn't have a clue on how to be a strong Commander-in-chief in a world filled with Muslim extremists who will do whatever it needs to do to destroy the lives of civilized people while killing innocent men, women and children in order to bring a change that is beneficial to all Islamic terrorists worldwide.

I am sorry that voters on the left don't understand the frightening changes that are taking place in the Muslim world and what these changes will do to this world in which we live.

I am sorry that the Democratic Party has been highjacked by Socialists and Communists right under the very noses of those who take pride in calling themselves democrats.

We hang out our dirty laundry for the entire world to see. We move on. That's one of the reasons we are hated so much. We don't hide this stuff like all those Arab countries that are now demanding an apology.

Deep down inside, when most Americans saw this reported in the news, we were like - so what?  We lost hundreds and made fun of a few prisoners. Sure, it was wrong, sure, it dramatically hurts our cause, but until captured we were trying to kill these same prisoners.  Now we're supposed to wring our hands because a few were humiliated?  Our compassion is tempered with the vivid memories of our own people killed, mutilated and burnt amongst a joyous crowd of celebrating Fallujahans.

If you want an apology from this American, you're going to have a long wait! You have a better chance of finding those seventy-two virgins..

      Chuck Pitman
       Lieutenant General, USMC

Pass this on to your friends if you agree.

If not, I am sorry I offended you by passing on the facts.

OIL

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY

OPEC sells oil for $136.00 a barrel.
OPEC nations buy U.S. grain at $7.00 a bushel.
Solution: Sell grain for $136.00 a bushel.
Can't buy it?  Tough!   Eat your oil!
Ought to go well with a nice thick grilled filet of camel ......!!!

I know I'm going to catch some flack on this, but isn't there something that can be done about these people abusing the handicap privilages? I can't tell you how many times I've seen people park in the handicap areas, get out of the car and either briskly walk or run into the store. They proudly display that placard but there is nothing handicaping them at that time. I accept the fact that someone in the household may require that placard and don't have a problem with that. It's the ones that do not need to park there that piss me off. Maybe if enough people side with me, the police will crack down on them by issuing a fine. A few years ago, a friend of mine obtained a placard for his wife but she never left the house. He used that tag all the time and he was in better shape than I am.

SHERIFF JOE IS AT IT AGAIN!
>>
>> Update on Joe Arpaio
>>
>> Oh, there's MUCH more to know about Sheriff Joe!
>>
>>
>> Mar icopa County was spending approx. $18 million dollars a year on stray
>> animals, like cats
>> and dogs. Sheriff Joe offered to take the department over , and the
>> County Supervisors said okay
>>
>> The animal shelters are now all staffed and operated by prisoners. They
>> feed and care for the
>> strays. Every animal in his care is taken out and walked twice daily. He
>> now has prisoners who
>> are experts in animal nutrition and behavior. They give great classes for
>> anyone who'd like to
>> adopt an animal. He has literally taken stray dogs off the street, given
>> them to the care of
>> prisoners, and had them place in dog shows.
>>
>> The best part? His budget for the entire department is now under $3
>> million. Teresa and I
>> adopted a Weimaraner from a Maricopa County shelter two years ago. He was
>> neutered, and current
>> on all shots, in great health, and even had a microchip inserted the day
>> we got him. Cost us
>> $78.
>> The prisoners get the benefit of about $0.28 an hour for working, but
>> most would work for free,
>> just to be out of their cells for the day. Most of his budget is for
>> utilities, building
>> maintenance, etc. He pays the prisoners out of the fees collected for
>> adopted animals.
>> I have long wondered when the rest of the country would take a look at
>> the way he runs the jail
>> system, and copy some of his ideas. He has a huge farm, donated to the
>> county years ago, where
>> inmates can work, and they grow most of their own fresh vegetables and
>> food, doing all the work
>> and harvesting by hand. He has a pretty good sized hog farm, which

>> work, and you can buy a
>> living Christmas tree for $6 - $8 for the Holidays, and plant it later We
>> have six trees in our

>> Yup, he was reelected last year with 83% of the vote.
>> Now he's in trouble with the ACLU again. He painted all his buses and
