Letter from serviceman about Obamas visit

Hello everyone,
As you know I am not a very  political person. I just wanted to pass along
that Senator Obama  came to Bagram Afghanistan for about an hour on his
visit to 'The  War Zone'. I wanted to share with you what happened.
He got off the plane and got  into a bullet proof vehicle, got to the area
to meet with the  Major General (2 Star) who is the commander here at Bagram.

As the Soldiers where lined up to shake his hand, he blew them off and didn't
say a word as he  went into the conference room to meet the General. As he
finished,  the vehicles took him to the ClamShell (pretty much a big top
tent that military personnel can play basketball or work out in with weights)
so he could take his publicity pictures playing  basketball. He again shunned the

 

opportunity to talk to Soldiers  to thank them for their service.

So really he was just here to make a showing for the Americans back home
that he is their candidate for President.  I think that if you are going to make
an effort to come all the  way over here you would thank those that are
providing the freedom that they are providing for you.

I swear we got more thanks from the NBA  Basketball Players or the Dallas
Cowboy cheerleaders than from one of the Senators who wants to be the
President of the United  States. I just don't understand how anyone would
want him to be our Commander-in-Chief. It was almost that he was scared

 

to be around those that provide the freedom for him and our great  country.

If this is blunt and to the point I am sorry but I wanted you all to know what

 

kind of caliber of person he really is. What you see in the news is all fake.

Thank you Jeff we pretty much got that this was the case from the “canned” video shoved down our throat by the Liberal American Media ...they hounded McCain about not looking hard enough on his trips but have given Obama a “free pass” on his setting policy BEFORE he departed and only going threw the motions rather than bothering to look at any of the facts....it was a wasted trip and we all knew that before his plane (the one that does NOT have an American Flag on it any more) started this trip.

Itis surely a shame how low the media has come tyting to get another liberal elected.
especially someone who has no allegiance to tyhis country he wants us to back down and aapologize for our involvements what a fool.
The people don't even care who he is they just listen to his empty words he can speak but WHAT does he say??
Muchael Morre should get on a p[lane with obama and both go to Iraq to live with the GI"s since the suge has proven effective.
Our free country has really dropped its standards following this circus guess they like clowns eh??
I wish we could replace the 535 other fools instead of concentating on the 2 guys running they draw useless followers on their party shirttails and we seldom realize how our counttry gets so out of control.
There are only a few faces on the television who are runnig wonder why??
I mean the congress and senate our real enemies....

Did you see the excuse he gave for not visiting any of the wounded soldiers ? He said it would not be “fair” if his personal staff was not allowed to accompany him ...so he can't wait to meat with all the great monsters of the world with OUT restrictions but he will not visit with a soldier without putting his own restrictions on it . He is such a low life that when he saw that it was not going to be a photo opportunity he had no interest and did not hesitate to shun our wounded soldiers.

Concerned person who feels like expressing my opinion while I still can. I have been in Florida since 1973 when things were less hectic crime was not a problem. I enjoy writing to the editor,emailing to higher ups when things seem out of control like the current crime wave. I believe in free speech and it seems people are letting that slip away as they are told what to say at certain seasonal times. I think our media is our biggest threat using their liberal viewpoints and if wrong they are not responsible for errors I cant understand the Supreme's courts power we do not elect this group but we are at their mercy if you can call it that on issues that have an effect how we behave. People in power we dont electt that are backed by special interst groups or maybe some appointments are not acceptable to certain parties and therefore some well qualified individuals never get the appoiintment. The supreme court opens their sessions with a prayer and the ten commandments are on their very building. When will the media think before addressing dangerous things that are picked up by the media and sort of become a fad for copycats like the Campus massacares occurring senselessly. I have raised 5 sons and one daughetr 4 of my sons were in the military submariners. Enjoy this site lots of controversy and also informative!!
