I have talked to T Mobile about calling dropping off and seem to get nowhere.

I talked to my Daughterinlaw in Tennessee today about the storm and she said she is dropping T Mobile because they dont have many towers in the knoxville are.

She said they cant even provide her 80% so she's dropping them with no charge.

When I was there this past summer I had no signal at all.Someone told me to turn the phone off  then on again and there was the AT&T provider.

I had conveyed my problem 2 days ago about  the problem and  was told someone would come to the area to check the signals.

That was 2 days ago and yesterday I lost anoterr call while  in Leesburg with a good signal.

Same thng in Kissimme at my sons home on pleasant hill road no signal.

It gets frustrating to encountr this when  I tought was good companies now I will have to pay 200 bucks to cancel my recent 2 year renewal.

Where wiil this end?????????????

I have been with them for 9 months now. I have dropped 2 calls but was in a fairly remote area. I drive all over the state for work and don't have many issues. The few times I have called customer service they have gone above and beyond for me. Last month I called and my data plan for my phone had dropped by 10 bucks a month. I had no idea. They made the adjustment and I now pay less per month.

I have been with them for over 3 years and now it has become a sort of mystery why I get the calls falling off with a strong signal.
I admit they do try but for an entire week my wi fi was down due to a problem with their equipment.
It does get frustrating when you are on a call and bang its gone ususlly in an area with good signal strength.
I got a specil cable to connect my phone to my computer to download so its like when I had a different phone I had special attachments I bought then they were useless when I changed comapnies.
I too travel around and i happens in several ststes too wiht good signals.
Sometimes I have to turn the phone off then on or take the battery out for a short time.
Using Vonage for my incoming calls only 8 a month and the cell handles my outgoing calls using my faves to control the messages used
Going to try one ,ore time to get to the bottom of this..
Thanks for the feedback!!

signal12- I'm surprised you are having success with Sprint. My brother had sprint and I could never call him without sprint dropping the call. I knew it wasn't me because I was using a landline most of the times it happened.

I have T-Mobile. I've had it since 2002 when it was Voicestream. I have never had a problem that they couldn't fix. Sometime after they switched to T-Mobile my phone started dropping calls and it was due to the switch and not having a recent SIM card.

T-Mobile has excellent customer service they have given me extra minutes just for calling. I can't complain.

You are right about them going the extra mile.
I have decide after being with them for 3 years to hang on.
It was a simple suggestion to do a few easy things so now I'll see how it goes.
Verizon would be my next step IF this keeps up..

I have Sprintel (Sprint-Nextel)and let me tell you... I am the queen of dropped calls! I can not wait until my contract runs out so I don't have to pay the $200 to get out of the damned thing! Maybe I should call and whine constantly so they can drop me??? Hmmmmmmmmmm!

I have T-moblie and I hate it. Its a family plan so I cant quit untill next year. Not only do I get dropped calls frequently but I recive my messages, text and voice mail, about a day or tow late. I called T-moblie about it and they said to turn my phone on and off. I asked for a new phone and they said its not their problem because I must have done something to the phone but I checked around and found web sites which reassured myself that I am not alone. I hate T-moblie. It was good in high school but its not fit for the real world.

I have sprint/nextel, since the merger no problems. Of course theres a feature that the goverment does so that it hits the closest cell tower..... I tried it on my personal phone.. works like a charm.. :oD

You have to remember, there are 2 lines and sometimes 2 different companies involved in each dropped call. Just a thought.

I have AT&T now because I did not like the merge from Nextel to Sprint. I had a bad experience with Sprint and will not give them any more of my business. But My husband and I both have different cell phones, same company. He drops every other call, it's crazy. I hardly ever drop a call. I think it's in the type of cell you have and not necessarily the cell phone company.

Concerned person who feels like expressing my opinion while I still can. I have been in Florida since 1973 when things were less hectic crime was not a problem. I enjoy writing to the editor, emailing to higher ups when things seem out of control like the current crime wave. I believe in free speech and it seems people are letting that slip away as they are told what to say at certain seasonal times. I think our media is our biggest threat using their liberal viewpoints and if wrong they are not responsible for errors I cant understand the Supreme's courts power we do not elect this group but we are at their mercy if you can call it that on issues that have an effect how we behave. People in power we dont electt that are backed by special interst groups or maybe some appointments are not acceptable to certain parties and therefore some well qualified individuals never get the appoiintment. The supreme court opens their sessions with a prayer and the ten commandments are on their very building. When will the media think before addressing dangerous things that are picked up by the media and sort of become a fad for copycats like the Campus massacares occurring senselessly. I have raised 5 sons and one daughetr 4 of my sons were in the military submariners. Enjoy this site lots of controversy and also informative!!
