mscsailor's Blog

There have been recent blog entries here that point directly at one of the major hypocrisies of modern liberalism.  The majority of bloggers allow (somewhat) free and open exchange of thoughts and ideas.  However at least two  (you know who you are) of our most vehemently liberal posters don't quite see it that way. They go far beyond the usual liberal suppression tactic of punishing any speech that they care to categorize as creating a "hostile environment" and "Be careful what you say- or be prepared to pay". These bloggers simply don't allow any comment that might in any way refute their socialist, anti-American ideals.  In my younger, more politically active days, I tried to remember that it's difficult to learn anything from people that always agree with you.  Even though I might not agree with what passes for news on PBS, MSNBC, etc, these blatantly liberal outlets are still on my "to watch" list.  I think that most real conservatives are pretty much the same way.  These zealous liberals though, seem to only believe things that come from move on dot org.

Luckily, by completely suppressing any possible rebuttal to their cut and pastes, these arch liberals are finally unmasking their cause for what it really is- socio-facism.  Unfortunately for America (note capital A), I fear their numbers are growing, emboldened by the MSM, activist judges and super liberals in our educational system.

We have a radical liberal sector, that not too long ago had free rein upon the media in any form. Free to operate in any fashion, and they were covered by "big brother media." Now that these forums are loosing subscriptions, advertizing money, etc. they depend upon the very rich radicals. The MoveONs, Huffingtons, DailyKOS Media Matters, Center for American Progress, Air American and many more George Soros funded arenas are vanishing.

So now they seek the audience that they have lost, by bringing the same propaganda to open blogs like this one and spewing here where MYFOX has a nation wide viewing. Some metropolitan areas of MYFOX are quite liberal in the manner they monitor their blog, others more balanced.

We have some liberals here that bring fantastic debate, and actually the dialog brings a level of knowlege to the screen not seen before. But alas, we have the "kool-aid" liberals, that refer to pointless drivel when the talking point gets blown out of the water, or the hypocracy is exposed.

What we have for the first time in American history is accountability being afforded to the left at a level never seen before, and they don't know how to deal with it other than block it out and hope it goes away.

Nope... I will just bring your comments over to my post, where it is once again open to dialog, and make you look more the partisan hack.

But even the management here when they scrub liberal professors exposure for anti-american writtings out of UCF... THAT is truely sad...

MSCSailor, Rather than using labels and adjectives to talk about the bloggers, why not engage them on the issues a produce something that refutes their statement(s)? Of course your sources will also be scrutinized for any possible bias and your statements will be examined for completeness as well as overall truth. Sounds fair to me.....leave out the name calling and personal attacks and stick strictly to discussing the issue at hand.....not a substitute.

shadows- that is all fine and good, the problem is not the posters that actually allow for differences of opinion, but rather the those who post liberal BS, then totally suppress anything and anyone who dares cross swords. I am happy to engage on issues, thoughts ideas or just insults. No problem. I try to avoid endless cut and paste, and just reference the pertinent quotes. However, it's painfully obvious that CnP, then delete or not allow rebuttal is common lib policy here.

Notice, I didn't delete your post ;-) , although maybe I should do it just to illustrate how angry you would be......

I understand your frustration, sailor.
Deleters stink.

While Cynpro, and a few others, delete or filter their blogs, most of us, including Abunai, Hawk, and KissHank, I think, allow an open exchange.

I suggest you boycott the deleters and ignore their comments until they decide to play fair.

Maybe you can write a list of known deleters. I think DaytonaFrank has deleted some, and LQQKING and Sipi, Jfore, and one or two others.

Nice picture Candy!

I have typed "testing for filter" in Cynpro's blog. When it stops filtering I will start commenting.

I suggest you all check filtered blogs to see if they will let you speak. You may want to check often, just in case they become unfiltered, so you can post your important comments.

Good idea. True enough, even though I sometimes turn red in the face reading your (and kisshanks.....) posts, I have to give credit where it is due- you guys fight fair...(sort of.....most of the time..... :-) )

I also posted the following comment in the deleter's blog in the hopes of fostering good will: You may copy it if you wish.

Hi.
I would like to comment on your blog but I cannot because you are filtering your comments.

This blog has generally been pro-free-speech. In the spirit of fairness, if you are going to continue to filter your blogs, would you consider putting a disclaimer, i.e. "This blog is not open to public opinion."? Something to let readers know that there are opinions that will not be represented.....

I'd like to see you join us in free speech or at least let readers know that your blogs are limited in nature.

I hope you will drop the filter. I look forward to commenting on your blogs on the future.

Norty, How dare you call me a deleter. It is true, I have deleted CynHo because she deleted me. I have also deleted a comment or two here and there that were just pure insult, and nothing to do with topic.

Please name ONE time I have EVER deleted a comment for simple disagreement, or an opposing point of view!

I have NEVER!

In fact, I believe those that delete comments for simple disagreement, or an opposing point of view should be deleted by everyone on thier posts, whether they agree or not!

This blog is about debate, and if you are not here for that, you should not be here!

If you came here to hear a bunch of yes men kissing your bleep, you should not post a blog here.

For me it would be boring if everyone agreed with me. Some do, some don't. THAT is blogging!
That was a low blow norty. Ouch. I am shocked!

Yes, I will continue to delete CynHo if she comments on my blogs. The others that are deleting her include Hawkeye, ZipitHippy, and I believe Abunai is also deleting her as well.

If you stifle the opinions of others, you should not be allowed to express yours.

Everyone should delete her. It is only fair.
Simple as that. This is America, not Russia!

Heck ya I delete her! I can't believe she wont let anyone comment on her blog unless they are dry humping her leg, and then the idiot thinks she can comment on ours...NO F ING WAY! I have deleted her on every blog of mine and I will continue to do so. But she is the only one I delete...She is nothing more than your stereo typical liberal who believe in freedom of speech as long as she agrees with you.

To be honest.. I have broken my promise to never delete and have been deleting CnP as well! I gave her the benefit of a doubt for a little while, but thats gone now.

I wrote to the web folks (contact us at bottom) to address this new option of being able to approve posts yourself. That is what is being abused, but I now cut and paste EVERYTHING she puts up, and then if she tries to post on her stuff on my side, I STILL delete here.

Bravo Abunai. Everyone should do the same.

This is not a dictatorship, it is a blog!

Maybe one day CynHo will realize that.

But I really don't think so. She thinks her views are the only ones that should be heard!

She cannot be American, and must have just moved here from Russia, Cuba, or Venezuela.

Possibly Iran.

Regardless, freedom of speech will NEVER be suppressed as long as I live!

I will fight it unto death!

But if you deny my right, I deny yours also CynHo!

Honestly, my 2 cents on CynPro / PolSciguru is that she is a bit self obsessed. Your name says a lot about you. Mine says that I love my doggy. Both of hers have her as "Pro" or "guru", a little bit of self-congratulating. This furthers my view that liberals are really selfish people. She can post on my bloggs all she wants. I love watching everyone debunk the junk.

Great post mscsailor, The only part I can't figure out is why the deleted are becoming delete'rs, I've been filtered by these individuals also and I almost done the same, But that would make me just like THEM, Anyone can comment on my posts in any way they want, Be it personal attack or opposite opinion, I'm with rexesmom, I leave their posts it's fun to watch them get shredded by the rest of our community. BTW polsci guru, A.K.A.Purplestar, A.K.A.gummsnapper(by abunai)love that! is now mr. asphalt

Norton, filtering is MANUAL, and does not occur
until the blog owner reads their blog.
A post like "testing, testing" is likely to be deleted.
If (before the blog owner arrives) people become
aggravated and argumentative, their comments are
much more likely to be deleted. Filtering is also
useful to controlling inappropriate language.

FOX has given all blog owners here, the ability
to conduct their blog as they see fit.
Some blog owners like arguments, and some don't.

Some just want a way to communicate their thoughts,
and some use their blog more as a diary of their thoughts.
It's left to the owner's discretion.

I haven't deleted anyone, and I would never delete Abunai, because I consider it my duty to help him during his periods of desperation. It's kinda like a form of "community" service.

Right now it appears as though he is having a problems with the souring economy and an obsession with closets. But to be fair, I have to say that he has made tremendous progress considering how GW and company have let him down.....it has been a pitiful thing to watch.

Of course I have no reason to delete the people like DaytonaFrank and RNC08 who agree with everything that I say. LOL
