Tonight's debate may be anything but impartial! The moderator for the debate, Gwen Ifill of PBS, has a book coming out praising Barack Obama! We'll see what happens but this is like playing craps with loaded dice! No matter how you toss them, you know you'll get snake eyes!

I felt the same trepidation about Ifill, 'stangg. But I think that she did a fine job.

And, Sarah. SARAH! Sarah ROCKED!

She didn't blow Biden out of the water, but she did a superb job. Sarah connected with the average American (except for Yellowdog, of course).

I think she felt the heat on her neck and probably cut her more bias questions back. She did better than I figured she would.

As a person debating for the first time at a national level, I think Palin did quite well against someone who frankly, should have walked away with it. That is if you figure past debating experience for anything. If that was the best Biden had to offer, I'm sure he's glad there will be only one debate between them.

Did anyone hear Biden say "Bosniaks"? Who says that anymore?*lol* Joe....the current term is "Bosnian"!

What was the deal with; "can I call you Joe?" I mean, what's the deal? As if they aren't already on a first name basis with luncheons, and social functions, and such! DS!

Sarah Palin to Joe Biden I mean, at the very beginning of the debate! "Can I Call You Joe?" Seriously! DS!

She had never met him until that night. It's called being polite. He might like to be addressed as Senator. She didn't know, hence the proper thing to do was ask.

MM; oh, well, that does make sense! She does seem like a very well mannered and polite, as well as congenial person. I just figured that with all of the activity, it was likely that they had already been acquainted! DS!
