I just saw the coolest thing for those confined to a wheelchair! It's a device called "ReWalk". It allows those in a wheelchair to stand and actually walk! Even climb stairs! It's put out by a company called Argo Medical Technologies. Check out the video!

God I love technology!

It's a shame it wasn't invented in the US. Can you imagine how long it will take to get it approved and for medicare and the insurance companies to pay? I wonder if it meets the California pollution standards?

Leave it to Vitto to say something
negative about something this cool. If you were in a chair, you wouldn't care
where this were made! I hope you never need one! It would need to be 5x stronger
to lift your.....negativity upright! I doubt your exhaust meets anyone's pollution standards!*lmao*

Now you're being just plain silly. Here's one of the greatest aids for "crippled" folks and I bet it takes at least a decade till it's available to the rich and longer to the middle class and old folks on fixed incomes. Australia has a treatment for Alzheimers that is very promising but our FDA wants nothing to do with it. There's an attitude in our regulatory government that if it ain't American, it ain't worth persuing. What I said was negative about our government, certainly not about a marvelous device.

Vitto,
Don't make yourself look worse than you already are.

"It's a shame it wasn't invented in the US."

Last I checked, the government wasn't in the inventing business. Don't worry about it being available to the people that need it. I'm sure some liberal will tax me for it. See..you aren't the only one that can politicize something this cool! The fact that you started out with something negative to say at all shows your deep bitterness. I really feel sorry for someone that must interject darkness into such a bright topic. At least you ended on a good note. Be wise and leave it at that.
