Tonight's debate may be anything but impartial! The moderator for the debate, Gwen Ifill of PBS, has a book coming out praising Barack Obama! We'll see what happens but this is like playing craps with loaded dice! No matter how you toss them, you know you'll get snake eyes!http://www.nytimes.com/2008/10/02/us/politics/02debate

I know I have been in the minority here over the "bailout bill" however this isn't what I backed, but...
New Tax Earmarks/Pork In Bailout Bill -
Film and Television Productions (Sec. 502) -
Wooden Arrows designed for use by children (Sec. 503) -
Earmarks for litigants in 1989 Exxon Valdez incident, Alaska (Sec. 504)
Tax earmark “extenders” in the bailout bill. -
Virgin Island and Puerto Rican Rum (Section 308) -
American Samoa (Sec. 309) -
Mine Rescue Teams (Sec. 310) -
Mine Safety Equipment (Sec. 311) -
Domestic Production Activities in Puerto Rico (Sec. 312) -
Indian Tribes (Sec. 314, 315) -
Railroads (Sec. 316) -
Auto Racing Tracks (317) -
District of Columbia (Sec. 322) -
Wool Research (Sec. 325)
...but I do still believe that something needed to be done. However, these earmarks are just over the top! Wooden Arrows designed for use by children? Wool Research? COME ON! I know some of you will jump on McCain for voting yes even with the earmarks, but he knew something needed to be done too. It's just too bad the boys around him needed to be bribed to get their yes vote. This is a PERFECT place for a line item veto! I'm sure now that the dust has settled and we clearly see what got voted on, John McCain will name names and make famous those that sponsored the pork in this bill! Sadly, we may have to wait until after the election to know who to throw eggs at!

Remember the comedian Sandra Bernhard? You know, that unfunny, ugly cow with the huge nose that's a good friend of Roseanne Bar? Well add disgusting and vial to her list of undesirable attributes! What's so disgusting you ask? Well, Ms Nasty had this to say last month in her one woman(hag) show,
"...Sarah Palin would be gang-raped if she ever visited New York!"
Yeah...you read that correctly! This caused her to be cut, and rightly so, as the headliner of an upcoming benefit show. What makes her comment worse is the benefit show is to be for of all things, a women's shelter!
This kind of attack mentality has really come out of the liberal left since Sarah Palin came on the scene. It seems the nicer someone is, the worse they attack them. I'm so glad I haven't seen Sandra Bernhard in years. I'm happy she's doing schlock shows in the middle of nowhere and I hope she stays there!
Oh yeah...need a link?

Obama agrees with me that this is not a bailout.
Watch this video and scroll ahead to about 1:50 and listen until about 2:55!
Obama is saying what I have been saying all along. This is not a bailout, it's a loan and we could even turn a profit from all this. A bailout implies that this is free money for Wall Street. It's not free money when they have to pay 10% interest and fork over up to 80% of their stock.
And now for the "but". Obama agrees with me BUT I'm still not going to vote for him! Sorry Barry! McCain has been trying to get something done about this for 2 years while you voted "present"!
Oh...and why listen from 1:50 to 2:55? Because that's about all of him I can stomach at once! *lol*

P.E.T.A. or People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, wants ice cream makers Ben and Jerry to use human breast milk in their product. Why? To eliminate the suffering by cows and calves. *LMAO* Have any of these pasty faced vegans ever seen how nasty a cow can get when she hasn't been milked? THAT'S SUFFERING!*lol* To suggest that human milk is safer and better is just nasty! Can you imagine the milking room?*LMAO* Not to mention what kind of crack junkies would show up to get paid to be milked! Brilliant thinking PETA! Thank God for the FDA!http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080925/ap_on_fe_st/odd_br

John McCain's position on equal pay for women is being distorted by a recent Obama TV ad. The ad states of John McCain:
"He opposed a law that would guarantee women equal pay for equal work."
Wrong! He opposed a law that would make it easier for them to sue. Basically, he only opposed the law as it was written. This is what he's actually had to say on the issue.
"I am all in favor of pay equity for women, but this kind of legislation, as is typical of what's being proposed by my friends on the other side of the aisle, opens us up to lawsuits for all kinds of problems,"
The ad also says "He explains away the wage gap by saying "They need the education and training..."
The ad leads you to believe he thinks women are stupid.
What he actually said and what was left out at the end of that truncated quote was:
"They need the education and training, particularly since more and more women are heads of their households, as much or more than anybody else."
Also
"And it’s hard for them to leave their families when they don’t have somebody to take care of them."
Either of those statements untrue? A lot of women ARE single parents that lack the free time to get a higher education that would afford them a higher paying job.
The wage gap has two areas to address. One is the over all $.77 cents to the male $1.00. The the other area is equal pay for equal work. Greater education as McCain expressed, WOULD help close that 23% gap. Secondly, we already have laws that give a woman the right to sue when she's being paid less than a fellow male worker for the exact same job.
So as you can see, Obama has not only distorted McCain's position on equal pay but also distorted the fact that we already have equal pay laws! Obama forgets the often amended Equal Pay Act of 1963, which itself amended the Fair Labor Standards Act from way back in 1938!

I want the Rays to win now more than ever! *lol*

I'm so sick and tired of people claiming George Bush removed ALL oversight of EVERY part of the economy. A 5th grader could look it up and see that it's not true! A two minute search found this. This from Market Watch:http://www.marketwatch.com/news/story/bush-against-mor
e-mortgages-fannie/story.aspx?guid={550D5AFD-3900-411A-
8EA4-8CD2E28AD678}"But even as Senate
Democrats including Charles Schumer
of New York and
Senate Banking Committee Chairman Christopher Dodd have
called for allowing the government-sponsored enterprises
to buy more
loans, their regulator has remained mum on the request. The head of the
Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight has said that Fannie and
Freddie have made progress reforming their governance, but that more
needs to be done.
Fannie Mae was fined
$400 million in May 2006 after regulators found that senior executives
manipulated books to reap bonuses for themselves. In 2003, Freddie Mac
said that it misstated earnings by $5 billion for the years 2000 to
2002. The McLean, Va.-based company paid a fine of $125 million."
Looks like there's no oversight huh? WRONG! Also, read that first paragraph and you'll see that DEMOCRATS were calling for them to BUY MORE LOANS! Senate Banking Committee Chairman Christopher Dodd IS A DEMOCRAT!

I was telling my friend FloydFreak a minute ago that Obama would make a great action figure. I had this to say.
"Floyd,
He would make a great action figure too! Wind him up and he taxes GI Joe and takes away all his guns! Pull the string and he repeats "change" over and over and over and over. Also, like an action figure, he's just cheap plastic and the promises from the TV commercials aren't true!"
I guess someone beat me to it!
By the way. . . . . . Just what is he pointing at? *lol*

For those who think Obama's plans are genuine, look at how he actually voted on issues in the senate and gauge his "future plans" against his "past decisions"!
Here's his complete voting record. Please note the number of "NV's"! These are the times he did NOT vote but merely said "present"!

He might as well have said "Duh...I don't know!"

Is Joe Biden Actually Bigfoot?
Biden 1987: Biden lifted(took as his own) parts of a speech he gave from a speech given by British Labor Party leader Neil Kinnock. Ooops....can you say plagiarism?
Biden in October of 2002: “We must be clear with the American people
that we are committing to Iraq for the long haul; not just the day
after, but the decade after.”
Biden on Meet the Press in 2002, discussing Saddam Hussein:
“He’s a long term threat and a short term threat to our national
security… “We have no choice but to eliminate the threat. This is a guy
who is an extreme danger to the world.”
Biden on Meet the Press, 2005: “I’ve been calling for
more troops for over two years, along with John McCain and others
subsequent to my saying that.”
Biden 2006: "I've had a great relationship [with Indian Americans]," Biden said.
"In Delaware, the largest growth in population is Indian-Americans
moving from India. You cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin' Donuts
unless you have a slight Indian accent. I'm not joking."
Again in 2006, this written by the Washington Post's Dana Milbank about the confirmation hearings for Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito:
"Sen. Joseph R. Biden Jr., in his first 12 minutes of
questioning the nominee, managed to get off only one question. Instead,
during his 30-minute round of questioning, Biden spoke about his own
Irish American roots, his "Grandfather Finnegan," his son's application
to Princeton (he attended the University of Pennsylvania instead, Biden
said), a speech the senator gave on the Princeton campus, the fact that
Biden is "not a Princeton fan," and his views on the eyeglasses of Sen.
Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.)."
Biden on a post-debate appearance on MSNBC, 2007: “The only guy on the other side who’s qualified is John McCain.”
Biden assessing Obama’s Iraq plan, 2007: “My impression is
[Obama] thinks that if we leave, somehow the Iraqis are going to have
an epiphany” of peaceful coexistence among warring sects. “I’ve seen
zero evidence of that.”
Biden on Meet the Press in 2007, on Hussein’s WMDs: “Well, the point is, it turned out they didn’t, but everyone in the world thought he had them. The weapons inspectors said he had them. He catalogued — they catalogued them. This was not some, some Cheney, you know, pipe dream. This was, in fact, catalogued.”
On this last one, how long have I been blogging about that here myself only to have that fact ignored by the DOPEs? *sigh*
Anyway....
We can now add remarks from Biden about Hillary being a better pick than himself for VP and his HUGE gaff when asking a paralyzed man to stand up. I asked the question, is Joe Biden actually Bigfoot? That's because we have seen a lot lately of his BIG FEET being firmly planted in his mouth! Looking back at these quotes, it seems this is nothing new for Mighty Joe.
My personal favorites are the ones about the paralyzed guy and the one about Indians! *lmao* Thanks Joe!

Is Joe Biden setting the stage to drop out as VP so Hillary can rescue Obama?
Wednesday, Joe Biden had this to say....
"Make no mistake about this – Hillary Clinton is as qualified or more qualified than I am to be vice president of the United States of America, let’s get that straight. She’s a truly close personal friend. She is qualified to be president of the United States of America, she’s easily qualified to be vice president of the United States of America and quite frankly it might have been a better pick than me. But she’s first rate, I mean that sincerely. She’s first rate so let’s get that straight."
Better pick than me? Joe.....What are you trying to say here? It looks like Sarah Palin has the Obama/Biden camp cr@pping bricks. If Biden does drop out, it will only hurt Obama and show that he can't make the right choices, even in his VP pick.
If Biden stays, this quote will haunt him right through November! For those who don't trust my quote above, here it is straight from the horse's mouth.
Later we'll talk about him asking a wheelchair bound man to stand up! *lol* What a boob Biden is! Great choice Barry! Thanks!

Ok.....I have your attention now. Here's the scoop for all the conspiracy types out there. There's this giant particle accelerator at the CERN laboratory in Switzerland that's supposed to bring about the end of the world on Wednesday. The Large Hadron Collider is going to be the site of an experiment to look for a particle that could explain the big bang theory. The catch is that some scientists believe this will spawn a bunch of tiny black holes that will eat the Earth in 4 years. Hey! That's just in time for the Myan calender's dooms day of 2012! Wooohooo! Still time to party folks! At least they have a catchy rap song that explains what's going on this Wednesday. Have a listen. If you are a science geek like me and can actually understand this experiment, read this story.... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-105

Anyway, here's the video so you can get your geek on! *lmao*
BTW, there's no Armageddon section here, so I put this in the news section instead.
