On the 4th of July my parents'  house caught on fire.  I have donated to many charities with both time and money, but  from now on the Humane Society and the American Red Cross is where my dollars and sense will go.  Thank you, American Red Cross for your help and to the Humane Society!

I am glad they were able to help your family. I hope everything gets back to normal for them. I think of all the people that got help in the storms from the Red Cross and I don't know how they do it, but they always come through with something that helps people.

They do it Randyloo with people like you, that are real and care. I've given money to charities all of my adult life but I have never seen any organization so quick to respond. They do not tie up their money in administation, they truly help people.

Thank you sweet michelle.

I have been a volunteer with the ARC for 10 years now and it is heartening to see YOUR American Red Cross receive a thank you from such a sweet little angel as yourself.

The Red Cross is comprised of 97% volunteers and only 3% paid staff.

In all my years (and I've clocked a hell of a lot of birthdays) I have never been around so many wonderful people as we have in the Red Cross.

Thanks for the thanks.

YD, you are most welcome for the thanks! It is the least that I can do and from now on ARC will be my first charity.

I will not give the Red Cross one dime.
To much money goes to administrative cost.
Have they even found the Billions of dollars that were donated for 911.
I am sorry when you give a dollar and only 20 cents goes to the needy thats a bad investment. I might as well give it to the government.

Having recently accepted the nomination of a fellow blogger to run for President I felt it was appropriate to update my profile. I have lived in Florida for a long time, but have lived in 13 States in total. I feel that having lived in a quarter of the states I am qualifed to be President. I do have a political affilialtion, however that is not important, I will do what is best. If you contribute to my campaign I promise to make promises that you want to hear!!!! If you don't vote for me, don't vote for anyone, no sense in wasting your time!
