Last Post 1 day, 4 hours Ago

each and everyday this week we will have a thunderstorms in central florida. the forecast will be for around a 40% - 50% coverage every day this week.

take you rain gear with you each day and keep track of the radar on the weather section of myfoxorlando.com

these thunderstorms will bring heavy rain, lightning, and some small hail is possible in the afternoon storms.

as if that weren't enough, with light winds and high's in the low 90's the heat index will be around 100-102 in the peak heat of the afternoon.

Jiminy-Crickets...

My day off and first - I feel I should stay home/in the house due to the heat advisory - then a severe thunderstorm rolls through.

Gotta love Central FLA in the summertime!

So - question - what happens now with the weather team?

Are you guys getting another 4th??

Is Cris still the 'traffic guy' or just (not that's it's 'just') the weekend meteorologist/ taking over Kristi's shifts?

You guys need another woman!!!! - meteorologist that is.

Ooo - another question - what happened to the cool 'morning show' promo with you guys following that woman? I LOVED that!

Have a great day, Jim!

I am SO glad the storms are back. Central FL needs so much rain. I don't like it when people or property get hurt or damaged but the rain is good. My water bill will appreciate it.
