Actually, his name is T. Boone Pickens and you’ve probably seen his commercial about using Liquefied Natural Gas (CNG) in our cars, which costs about $2.00/gal. Cars can be easily converted, it increases horsepower, it’s very clean, and it’s AMERICAN (Plus you can toss all the emissions junk in the trash). We have TONS of it in Shale Basins. It’s OLD technology. There are 8 Million vehicles running on it now including cars, trucks, & busses. Disney, Yellowstone, and some City Busses use it continuously. Note that his plan does NOT require increased use of CNG, just shifting what we already use in Power Plants to Cars (see the video at the link below – short and interesting).

T. BOONE PICKENS PLAN TO DUMP MID-EAST OIL

When I first saw his commercial, I thought he was some nutty Texan running for some office. Turns out, he’s a self-made Texas Oil Billionaire who’s old now, has made his money, and now is interested in helping America unhitch from Middle East Oil. On LENO last week he explained it all. No politics, nothing complicated, just a simple idea we can do now.

This will allow us to DUMP $300 BILLION WORTH – PER YEAR, of Mid-East Oil. Money they use to enrich Uranium and for Nuke development (or possibly to Buy them from Russia, China, N. Korea, Pakistan) to kill us with. It’s probably a good idea to stop giving them our money.

Is anyone else outraged over the cop who pulled-over the step-son of an internal affairs employee the other day?

Should cops & admin who abuse their “Authorit-Eye” receive punishment that strongly discourages this behavior? . . . or love slaps that let them all know they can do whatever they want?  TASE people for getting out of their cars too slowly (She was RESISTING!!!), kneel on people’s throats nearly crushing their esophagus until they pass out (or die) (They were RESISTING being suffocated!!!), kicking their doors for no apparent reason, release the HOUNDS (sheps) just for fun even though the guy had his arms up in the air and was turning around slowly as instructed, dump a paralyzed guy out of his wheelchair for refusing to stand-up (IDIOTS!), pushing a girl down the stairs for not moving fast enough, roughing-up a girl who was just sitting in a chair not knowing what exactly they wanted her to do as they SCREAMED commands at her, etc., etc., etc. . . . and stand back and laugh as they all gasp for air, writhe in pain, shake like a squashed insect.  When are we going to say, “Enough’s Enough Idiots!”?!

I’m sure there are some great cops out there . . . somewhere.  I haven’t met one yet although I’ve only met a handful and in the field never for anything more than a speeding ticket.  Even though I was only going 7MPH over which happened because the zone changed and I didn’t slow down fast enough, they were still insolent cocky a-holes reveling in their Authorit-Eye!  (Sure, I was speeding, I’m human, wasn’t scanning the roadsides in the dark foggy night at the right moment.  No problem, I admit it & pay when I’m wrong and if I say anything, it’s in the most polite tone possible.).  Do they HAVE to be rude, sarcastic jerks in response, daring you to say another word?  They’re perfect and if we get caught in their speed traps, we’re Filth!)  I have 2 cops in my family and another who’s a good friend, and I can tell you that they too are meat-heads on ego-trips (I don’t pull punches even for family when deserved).  They LOVE telling their violent cop stories and you should see their eyes light-up when they get to the part that they unleashed hell on some guy who didn’t follow the EXACT sequence quickly enough of, “Hands up, no, Hands locked behind head, Turn around, OTHER WAY, OTHER WAY, Right Foot Blue, NO GREEN! GREEN!  TAAAAASE!  TASE-TASE-TAAAAAAASE!!! . . . is he DEAD?  KICK him and find out!  Lets see if a dead guy can jump.  TAAAAAASE!!!”  Is it an exaggeration???  Forgot the cameras were rolling I guess – or aren’t afraid of the cameras.  My family/friend cops (and all their cop colleagues) can’t WAIT until the next time they have an “excuse” to use their TASERs, Batons (“hickory shampoos”), Dogs, Guns.  Can’t WAIT!  ABUSE their Authority? . . . they LAUGH about it!  One of the meat-head cops in my family curses at his mother like you wouldn’t believe and picked a fist-fight with the groom’s best-man at a family wedding (he’s on the “in-law” side I’m quick to point-out).  He LOVEs that story and laughs about it.  Not a redneck, city cop from & in a large progressive city.

Remember the scene in Die Hard II in which the terrorists compelled Bruce Willis’ character to walk through Harlem wearing a body-ad board with racial slurs written on it?  It gives me an idea for a more appropriate punishment for the cop who acted like an animal kicking, screaming, swearing as if he didn’t have the correct words in his vocabulary, yanking the cooperating kid on the ground head-first then kneeling on his throat until he passed out, yelling at him to “WAKE UP, WAKE UP”, then later deciding to behave professionally only after learning the kid’s Step-Father works for internal affairs.  How about a nice long walk around the dark streets of Orlando where sentiment for cops is the lowest with a body-ad quoting him and a BIG picture of him dragging the kid to the cement head-first out of the car BECAUSE HE SLOWLY MOVED FORWARD 4 FEET SO HE COULD PULL OVER AT THE OTHER SIDE OF THE INTERSECTION – as anyone would do – he was stopped at a light!  THEN he gets to go to prison with a BIG badge on his striped-shirt.  I think that’ll work.

 

 

ENOUGH’S ENOUGH!  No more criminal cops!  Background-check them, TRAIN them, monitor them, PUNISH them for unethical/unprofessional/criminal behavior.  And hire Chiefs who would just-as-soon personally beat the @#$% out of any cop who acts like these than prosecute them.  Talking about who’s “ABOVE THE LAW”!

Instead of writing, what, 21 or so separate Blogs, one per school, and BLOWING ALL THE OTHER BLOGS OFF THE PAGE, could you just write ONE Cram Session Blog each week, and put a separate paragraph for each school (or bulletized list) in that ONE Blog?  That way, other Blogs can stick around/remain active a while . . . or even SHOW UP depending on when they’re posted.

Out of the 19 Sport posts currently on the Page as I write this, 17 are by Kevin Holden, and 16 are these SPAM SESSIONS.  And within the 21 SPAM SESSIONS, there is only ONE Total comment . . . from a FIGURE SKATING FAN.  Not exactly a huge vote of support for these “Cram Sessions” let alone 21 of them per week.

Sorry, but it had to be addressed.

Yeah, Federer has been knocked off the throne before (by Nadal).  But he’s risen again convincingly.  Will Andy Murray of Scotland be Federer’s Brutus?  Or will Federer fall like Rome itself, slowly over time.

I don’t think Murray will deliver the final Shakespeare-ian blow, but I’ll be cheering him on.  Federer is a greatly accomplished player.  But I find it difficult to be in his corner due to his odd brand of subtle but sincere and ever-present conceit.  It kind of takes all the wind out of one’s cheer when the winner of an event acts as if the win was “of course” expected; full of egocentric analysis and little more than the obligatory “’at-a-boy” for his opponent. . . unless he's a boxer or WWF wrestler.  And he’s an equally unsportsman-like loser, always making excuses for himself, even if presented after the match.  The very young Murray, on the other hand, is full of mature humility and modesty in the same circumstances.  These are the characteristics of one who is strong and confident INSIDE; the characteristics of a true sports hero.  Win or lose, Murray is a Champion in my book, and a more respectable one than the Great Federer.
