I don't get it. The government is lowering interest rates, mortgage companies are, from what I hear, doing the same. Yet, I just got a letter from one of my wife's credit cards. They are raising her APR by 19%! Now she will have an APR of 27%. Maybe that is why this country is in such economic trouble. We have idiotic credit card companies that are trying to drown us in debt.
Just to Note:
I think credit cards are evil and we are working on paying off the debt. We have 3 down and 3 left to pay off but it just so happens that the card that just raised the APR is the one with the largest balance.
If the government wants to stimulate the economy they should fix this problem first.
LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35, Orlando) -- A 63 year old woman from Pennsylvania was arrested on Sunday after attempting to enter Walt Disney World with a loaded handgun. Walt Disney World security personnel discovered a silver color, Beretta .32 caliber semi-automatic handgun during a routine safety check as the woman was attempting to enter the park with other family members.
The woman, identified as Mary Ann Richardson of Nickelson, Pennsylvania, stated that she traveled with the handgun and had forgotten she was carrying it in her purse. Walt Disney World Security notified The Orange County Sheriff's Office which sent deputies to recover the gun. It was in was loaded with seven live rounds in the magazine; the chamber however was empty.
Inside her purse the woman also had a pair of scissors and a locked blade knife. Orange County deputies took the woman into custody and charged her with possession of a concealed weapon. The incident remains under investigation.
Stringent, zero-tolerance, security measures have been in place at all Central Florida theme parks since September 11, 2001.

Does anyone see anything wrong with bringing a knife and firearm to Disney? I don't if you are properly permitted. I won't say if I've been to Disney with my firearm but I will tell you that is perfectly legal if you have a concealed weapons permit.

So I just saw the bit about the shotgun tazer.
Some questions that were asked about it disturbed me.
What if the person doesn't know if it is a real shotgun or tazer? Well to me it shouldn't matter. If a law enforcement officer is commanding you to do something you do it!
Another thing that they asked was what if the law enforcement officer points it at someone and they react? Well um... they get tazed!!
The way it looks these are basically just shotgun shells. So maybe the chambered shell could be a tazer.
This sounds like a great idea to me.
