I feel alot of people are looking past all the facts of this case! Everyone always wants to place a judgement on people without hearing all the facts. Just cause you have speeded in the past does not mean everytime you get behind the wheel of an automobile you are doing a hundred over the speed limit!
O.k. so here is what we the readers do know as FACTS: 1- Nick was driving a yellow supra down court street with his best friend john as a passenger. 2- The car went off the road and hit a palm tree in the center median. 3- John was not wearing his seatbelt at the time and was severely injured.
Alright so where do we place the blame??? According to most people Nick must have been speeding cause he has done so in the past. Yet is there the possibility he was not speeding? Sure! It drives me nuts!!!!! People are so quick to judge people on past experiences and there own personal opinions. Forget the facts.....Why it's Nick Hogan..... A drifter.....A speed demon..... A teenage boy..... WITH A FAMOUS FATHER.
Alright so now that we have realized everyone has their own opinion on everything that happens in this world...here's mine. Nick is a normal teenage boy. I want you to think about one teenage boy you know that never got behind the wheel of a car and was speeding(girls too for that matter). Now if one of those boys got into an accident would his complete driving record be revealed? Probably not. But this is Hulk Hogans son.
Now my real obvious points which is where do i feel the blame should be placed. I am a mother of two sons, whom i raised to be good people who make good choices. John first off was not wearing his seatbelt. He was capable of saying he did not want to get into the car with nick because he was afraid of his driving. Now as being said that they were drinking together. He had the right not to get into a car with ANYONE who he knows has been drinking. Sounds like he knew what he was getting into and still made very poor choices. How is that the fault of ANYONE else?
Last but not least...I think it is horrible how much attention this is getting because of the fact that it was nick hogan. How about all the other parents who has similar circumstances with their children....Yet were they not as important to have just as much media coverage??? This society is sad! How dare you make one parent feel their kids life was less important because he was not put into the hospital by someone with a famous father!!
