REMEMBER JUST LAST SUMMER PAYING $60.00 A MONTH TO STAY COOL AND OUR STATE ALLOWED FPL TO RAISE RATES OR ACTUALLY DOUBLE RATES TO RECOUPE FROM THE HURRICANES. I AM SURE THAT ANYONE READING THIS WOULD THINK ITS TIME TO PUT THE RATES BACK TO NORMAL, ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY REPORT MILLIONS OR WAS IT BILLIONS IN PROFIT. EVERYONES RATES GO UP BUT KNOWBODY IS WILLING TO RAISE OUR INCOME.

Just like the insurance companies, I am interested in knowing what happened to all the profit made when the hurricane seasons were not as bad as 2004/05. I'm sure their share holders were happy. But now its "the rising cost of fuel to make electricty" so we must charge more. Well, them give the customers a break, allow extentions on payment date WITHOUT any penilitys, or threats of having to pay a higher deposit. And for once I would like to yalk to a LIVING PERSON, not listen to a recording and make a selection from the following menu.

Why cant thier shareholders take the hit for once is my point !! instead of continually passing on rate increases to us.
and dont forget the Florida "public service" commission has to first agree to the raises -have you EVER known them to say NO to these companies?
this board of bozos are not elected but are appointed by the governor, and all are making way over 100 K a year so these raises dont affect them it just affects the 90 percent of the rest of us that dont make 100 k !!
