Casey Anthony's second release from jail has created a firestorm. It's the story that just won't go away. When it all really started isn't even clear. Did Caylee disappear June 9th, June 15th, June 24th? Who really knows, only Casey. Where is Caylee? Who really knows, only Casey. When will it all end? Possibly when we find Caylee there will be some closure. Then again she may never be found. All across the country there are thousands of missing children and unsolved cold cases. Why should this case be so different? What started out as a missing child case has now morphed into something much bigger and has affected not only the Anthony family but much of Central Florida. It's a genuine reality show 24-7, an ongoing 3-ring circus. There's protesters and ugly mobs, chanting and fighting, children and grannies holding homemade signs, and it's all growing worse by the day. It's understandable that many Central Florida residents feel that a great injustice has been done. There is major frustration and outrage because it appears that the one person who could end all of this madness by just telling the truth sits inside her parent's house, day after day, stoical, and silent. We citizens are basically powerless to do anything other than help in the search for Caylee or wait for the legal process to run its course. Some people have channeled their energies into searching for Caylee, some post messages and blogs feverishly on the internet, some pray. I think some of us too need to take a break away from the Anthony family drama. Stop blogging  about it (this is my last one). Stop watching Nancy Grace. Protesters need to go back to their neighborhoods and quit camping outside of the Anthony's house. You are not helping the situation. Casey cannot be broken; she hasn't cracked in all this time. Or  maybe Casey did crack and tell her family and now they're all covering it up. Either way, standing outside the Anthony house holding a baby doll and a "Killer" sign isn't going to accomplish squat. And why punish the poor neighbors. Why should they suffer because of Casey's actions? Those neighbors are entitled to their peace and quiet and not having a Jerry Springer atmosphere in their block, day after day.

I was going to respond to some of the comments from my blog about Palin, but I got so fired up and so wordy I decided to post it ihere nstead:

Where to start.....Since most politicians have similar levels of education, and similar levels of experience, many voters look at other aspects of a candidate to tip the balance. Whether this is right or wrong, the majority of Americans do this when we vote. We also look at appearance, public speaking ability, sense of humor, candidate's spouse and family members, religion, etc. I don't think there has ever been a president elected who was elected strictly because he was the smartest or had the highest education. Other factors always come into play, whether we're voting for someone on the local school board or for the White House. This year both candidates are very similar in their agendas and in what they stand for, both are promising almost the same things to voters. Republican and Democrat lines are a little blurred this year, less edgy, softer.

The buzz word for this year's election is CHANGE! From our country's inception the US has always had a white, male president. Maggie Thatcher was elected in Britain in the 1970's. Here we are almost 40 years later and we have yet to elect a woman president! That's why the thought of a woman VP excites me. I want a woman a heartbeat away from the presidency. Just because Palin happens to be attractive, she can't help that any more than if she was ugly. Some women are just jealous or they're deliberately being harder on her because she's a woman, and because she appears to have it all going on. With regards to taking care of their Down's syndrome baby, how do we know her husband doesn't do that more because of his schedule? To attack Palin's motherhood or mothering abilities is very lame and a cheap shot. Traditionally voters have never questioned a male candidate's parenting abilities, or wondered whether he was a good father or not. To hold Palin back from a tremendous opportunity to make history simply because a voter feels she needs to spend more time at home is ridiculous, discriminatory and very unfair. With that reasoning, that must mean every male president we've had, were also bad fathers. I could care less if people say I'm voting the gender card because I know I am not alone in this. We've had white males leading our country from it's inception. Not that there's anything wrong with that, it's just time for a change. This year African-American voters are ecstatic at the possibilities of having one of their own as president. Look how long people of color have waited. Look how long women have waited. It goes without saying, we want the best man/woman for the job, but what is the criteria, and who is to say which candidate is the best? It's a subjective decision. It's called voting. It's called democracy.

Why is it taking so long for every city and county  to get on board and install cameras for red light runners so we can start saving lives, lowering accidents and raise money?  This should be a no-brainer. Bad drivers are not guaranteed a constitutional right to drive like idiots and run red lights.

In the last election I voted for Gore, so I've been counting the days to George Bush's exit from the White House. Even though Hilary had so much baggage, and I always preferred Bill, I'll admit the thought of a female prez. motivated me.  When Obama didn't do the right thing and ask Hilary to run as his VP, he lost my vote. Joe Biden? You gotta be kidding. How predictable, dusting off an old Democrat, and choosing a man instead of a woman. Obama must have caved in.  I believe Obama should have chosen a female or someone younger, or someone of color, or minority.  Wouldn't it have been great for Hispanics to have a representative! John was smart, and has now at the very least made this political race interesting. I thought I would end up in November writing in Sponge Bob, but now I'm voting Republican simply because of Palin.

From the very start it all sounded so unbelievable. A young mom loses her little daughter, doesn't report her for 30 days and shows no sign of distress, sadness, anxiety, nothing. In fact, Casey Anthony's first appearance in court tells us a lot about her. Her body language appears relaxed. She struts into the courtroom, holds her head high and almost has a bit of a smile or a sneer on her face. She seems bemused about the proceedings going on around her. While most of us suffer from blue light anxiety, and hate being pulled over by the police for even a ticket, we appear nervous and flustered and either give too much information about ourselves or beg to be let off with a warning, Casey has the opposite reaction. Miss Casey has no fear. She met with police for hours and continued to lie boldfaced to them. They couldn't crack her. Good cop, bad cop didn't work, befriending her didn't work, scaring her didn't work. I bet if she would have taken a polygraph that night, she would have passed it. The key is, Casey believes her lies. She most probably is a sociopath. She marched those policemen right out to Universal, thru the front gates and down a hallway to her supposed office and never flinched. She drove around with police on a wild goose chase pointing out pseudo locations, wasting valuable time because she knew Caylee was already dead.

Her parents have done her no favors. Even now the Anthonys all suffer from extreme denial as they continue to assist Casey in avoiding her responsibilites. There's a disconnect in that family that originates from Cindy. The Anthonys have their own reality, and live in their own world. How amoral of Cindy to hold a candlelight  vigil in their driveway while Casey sits inside, probably on a computer googling how to beat a murder rap. How can Cindy Anthony ask ordinary citizens to give their precious time, money and resources while their daughter sits in jail and has taken a vow of silence. Only Casey knows what happened to Caylee and only Casey knows where she is. Normal people would have cracked by now and said something, shed a tear or two, talked to a pastor, written a letter, confided in someone. That's how we know we're not dealing with a normal person.

Shame on the whole Anthony family. It's as if Caylee never even existed. She's just an image on a T-shirt that her mother has the nerve to wear. At least Caylee's free now from the whole crazy family. I hope they're haunted forever unless someone steps up, and starts talking soon. Do the right thing Lee.
