Hey I don't get why everybody is writing avout American Idol!!!! It drives me crazy!!!! Please enlighten me...what is all the fuss about!!?? Why don't they make this big of a deal abot The Simpson's season finale!!! And will American Idol ever be over? I can't wait il it is the series finale!!!!!!

Do remember how many years Star Search was on the air? If they have the ratings and people to be on the show it could be on for years.....

it's a bout to grow, but as far as the single singer I think this is the swan song... look for battle of the bands next for american Idol.

I think it has to do with the contestants being regular people like us. It gives us all hope that one day we can actually make something of ourselves. Plus the beginning of the show is quite funny with all the people auditioning that don't have a musical bone in thier body.

Look, it's the number one show in America. If you cut the ratings in half, it STILL makes the top 10 list of shows in the country.

Idol is the Super Bowl of non-sports programming. Good, wholesome, family entertainment on network TV is a rare thing these days. And if we're losers because we're covering it, then I guess it's not so bad being a loser. Losers need paychecks too.

Fair warning: Idol returns next January.

Hey you know... I like cows too. Grew up in Wisconsin, dontcha know.

david im not saying your losers for covering it im just saying that im sick of watching it and im glad this season is over. No hard feelings! And yes GO COWS!!!!!

Gee Cowluvr can you tell me where you bought your TV and what brand it is? I have never seen one that will TURN ON, PICK A PROGRAM, AND THEN LOCK ON TO IT TILL ITS OVER...ALL BY ITSELF!

That is some time saver if you ask me, cuts down on the channel flipping and decision making.

i am what you could call a cow loving american! The four things i love the most in my life are cows, family, god, and my country. I would do anything for all four. I like rock & country music! I also love the song crazy train by the ozzman!!!!!!!!!!!
