Beatles, Led Zeppelin, U2.

I like Pink Floyd but 3 amazing albums is great but doesnt compare to other bands who have 7 or 8 amazing albums liek the Beatles, Zeppelin, etc. I like early pink floyd, i happen to own original LPs of Meddle, Pipers at the gates of Dawn, and The Final Cut, and I own Pink Floyd live at Pompeii on VHS and DVD. But They really were only commercially viable on Dark Side fo the Moon, Wish You were Here, and the Wall. Three amazing albums no doubt. But most PF fans have nto heard or dont care for the Sid Barret Period of Floyd, or the entire early 70s work prior to Dark Side when they were still solidifying their sound. Oh. And I'd take the Rolling Stones over Metallica anyday. And AC/DC was amazing with Bon Scott. Their second singer blows.

Zepplin is the best!
Hendrix is pretty great as well.

In todays world I really like Dave Matthews Band!

Iron Maiden

I will have to say Pink Floyd is the greatest band ever. They are the only Band to sell out EVERY SINGLE CONCERT they have ever had in the last 40 years. They also have had the album with the longest time on the billboard charts. Dark Side Of The Moon was on the charts for over 700 weeks (14years). No other band not even Zepplin , the Beatle or Elvis can say that. And I think a close second would be Metallica.
