Why this hoopla over early voting?

It seems like a sin to me.  Just about like opening presents for Christmas Day, or finding out the gender before your baby is born.

It just seems wrong!

What do you think?

Hey there ms. Cookie how are ya....

I don't think its wrong...I rather do early voting than absentee ballots..(which it is notorious among the demooncracks..they have dead people voting on these types of ballots)

and its nice because it eliminates alot of the congestion which will happen on 1/29........

decided yet? common' let me in the secret......zapp..........just remember IT IS the demoonscrak that don't want to give us the Rebate because THEY WANT US, THE TAXPAYERS..to share with others...........the NERVES of those people......LOL

I like early voting. It's nice to not have to take off work or miss lunch in order to go vote. I think it helps working people be more able to get to the polls without loosing pay.

Love ya, Candy!

As I say, if you are dead, vote early and often!

Look at it this way...I am a registered Dem, so that is the primary I have to vote in. My vote can make or break the Rep candidate by virtue of opposition.

If I vote for Obama, that would be an automatic win for the Rep nominee, oh so they say.

However, I do have to vote with a conscience and in light of all this stuff with Obama taking office on the Koran and his views on the military, I cannot give him my vote. My son is military and for the sake of all who serve, giving Obama a vote would be a slap in the face to them and almost a sin against our great country.

I hope that other Dems will see this.

Hillary, on the other hand, much more formidable a contender, but I still believe she is pretty much un-electable.

I just pray that it's not McCain! He is a crazy man!

You know I just wish people could see....yes, it is important to voice your opinion and to vote and have a wonderful debate......AT THE END...they either Demo/Rep are gonna do WHATEVER THEY WANT...........FOR THEMSELVES; AT THEIR LEISURE; AT NO COST TO THEM.........and people don't seem to understand..we are the ones fighting with each other; debating this and that......LIKE THEY really care......oh they said they do......but they DON'T.........you see where I am going...love ya......have a great friday

Candy,

True, true...but that's why they call them politicians, right?

Those we elect are truly in many ways at the mercy of their administrative assists and interns. Just like in any well run business, the admin team really does the hard and meaningful work...the boss just puts a face on it.

Whomever we elect, we are electing their team. In many cases, that team is made up good caring people, smart people that give a darn.

We just have to figure out who it is that is willing to listen to their team and do the right thing, which could be almost impossible this time.

I've gone to DC and lobbied on behalf of my company 4 times, and I have seen how it works, or doesn't work for that matter. It's a big dance and you have to make sure you don't step on your partner's toes, or worse, make them fall.

Of all the people we lobbied, the only one who showed any sense of respect to us as constituents was Bob Dornan, R-Cal [at the time]. Unfortunately, because of his honesty and candid personality, it eventually made him almost un-electable, or re-electable. He was genuine and his office, a complete mess, but darn it, he listened and seemed to care what we had to say.

Didn't help our cause much, though.
