Why not a BLOGGER OF THE WEEK?

It's time to lay it on the table....show all my cards...I love Fox 35 Orlando and in particular, myfoxorlando.com/blogs.

Every week, we have the chance to vote for Pet of the week, Baby of the week, Cool School of the week, so why not go one step further and have a Blogger of the week? It makes perfect sense to me. We spend a lot of time [maybe too much] reading each other's posts, and frankly, you all are not only entertaining, you're downright smart!

What do you think my fellow bloggers? Wouldn't that be sort of fun?

What about me? LOL! I love the concept, but Fox people cannot be allowed in the tally.

They would always win, because they have an unfair advantage.

We would have to have a regular blogger to compile and post the tally. Fox won't do it if it isn't all them.

Top blogger of the week that are non- Fox people. I like it! That sounds like fun!

The only exception would be NeZe, she is one of us, and must be included.

I second that! Northton can tally.

It's not so much the number of blogs as the content and quality. And we would nominate and then vote on the post of the week.

True, we would have to exclude Fox talent, as they would have an inside track.

How about number of comments, not your own, per blog per month? And a tally of that?

I think the process would be complicated, but hey, if Northton wants to tally, why not?!

Another way would be to create a "BLOGGER OF THE WEEK" blog wherein we put three nominees and put links to their newsrooms so that people can click on them to read. Once people read and decide who's blog they like best, they can come back to the "BLOGGER OF THE WEEK" blog and 'cast' their vote by leaving a comment. It might be easier to keep a tally this way.

Great idea, Cookie-Lady!! I know we have 'danced' around it before, so maybe this time we can make it happen!!
