Say what you want, but in just a few weeks, we Floridians will vote in the Presidential Primary.  It's not the biggest of elections, but it is important, no less.

For those that have not already started doing a little research on the candidates, there is still enough time to do so.

From where I sit, still registered as a Dem, I am casting mine for Obama, at least that is the way I'm leaning now.  He's the lesser of the evils on the Dem side.  But you Republicans!  Oh my, do you have a smorgesboard to choose from!

Okay, I am now out of the closet as an Obama fan.  How about you?  Who are you looking to vote for and why?

It beats Hillary. Although Edwards talks, I see him coming far short of getting things done. Kucinich is my opinion is a better choice but he's not a viable candidate with grassroots support unfortunately. If you don't want any guilty feelings in the future you may want to vote Kucinich.

Obama has never run a company, has little experience as a Senator, and belongs to a chruch that only allows black to become members (racist)?. Not my idea of who I want as President. Hillary....no way!!! Just what we need, a President who cries everytime she gets strssed!!! (no to mention she is a liar, hates the military and the "common" folks.

Still undecided...but problably Rudy or Fred.

As for Obama and Hillary on the issues, they are the same...more and more entitlement programs that the working people have to pay for....in other words, HIGHER TAXES FOR EVERYONE!

I'll vote for Thompson in the primary, if by the time of the general I'm not convinced that he can carry the general then I'll vote for Romney. Ron,Rudy,John and Mike WON'T. I'm hopefull Hillary gets the nomination, she'll run Democrats to the right. I believe that will cinch a Republican victory.

Hunter or Thompson in the primary, if neither makes it to the General election then I will go with Rudy.

Sorry! I just can't vote for anyone who can not be proper or RESPECT the National Anthem!!!!!!!!!! No one is free from mistakes, but that action is just not acceptable - not in this country!
I like Rudy and Mitt, but still undecided.

I must have missed it, what happened?

Agree, Mitt will be my choice if he is one of the nominees. I am registered as a Dem, have been all my life, but the last 20 or so years I vote for many Rep candidates.

The point is that the best person for the job should be the one we elect. Not the one with the most money for advertising, not one with good hair, or a nice smile, the one with the leadership and ability to guide this country is who we should elect.

I would never vote for a person who refuses to salute our flag or to sing along with the National Anthem. Also, keep in mind, the fact that his religion dictates that he pledge allegence to Black Africa and not the United States. He is also playing the race card which is not working for him.

Cookie, it doesn't matter who you vote for in the primary since the Dems aren't going to count the FL primary anyway. Us Reps are only getting half of our vote. I still don't know who I want to give my 1/2 a vote to. I wish I could believe Huckabee. I don't trust any of them and I don't believe any have read or understand the Constitution. There's that pesky little amendment, #10 that says that anything not expressly in the constitution as the federal government's job is not. They don't seem to get that.

The man not only disrespects our flag and traditions, Go and see the website of his church and look at the racist antics! (If they have not pulled them down yet)

Obama's book talks of true leaders voting Yes or No on issues as a responsibility, yet go look at how many times Obama voted "Present" in his state!

Remember that Obama has never actually had to compete in a campaign race. His Senate spot comes on the heels of the otherside falling out.

He is a fantastic speaker, and frankly has a great opportunity as a preacher or acting... but the Democrats this time have left their constituants with either a race or gender minority selection and while its fun to watch, this country simply isn't going to allow it....

Only thing they have in common is their loathing of the military. Hillary will return us to the 90s, and Obama will leave us wide open as only able to put out the fires after attacks. (sort of the Ron Paul idea...)

Cookie...please I urge you to reconsider...just because you are a registered Democrat........doesn't mean you are forced and coerced into voting Democrat...at least in your blogs you don't seemed like you've had much of Democrat coolaid WHICH IS A GOOD THING...sweetie..we don't need a president that has to have Sharpie and Jesse and now Jr..doing his whining for him; don't forget this is the same person..not even a month after he declare was going to run...turn around and said he has been threatened WAWA WAWWA..and used up so much money to get a ton of bodyguards FOR NO REASON..that's how the RACE CARDS BEGINS....when I see an Afro-American run for PRESIDENT...AND wont use Sharpie and Jesse and Jr...that person will get all my respect and probably my vote!!! Not Obama...common a stink over a fairy tale comment......you got to be kidding me...I respect you..is YOUR CHOICE...but please remember WE ARE IN AMERICA...AND YOU HAVE A RIGHT TO VOTE.......for WHO YOU think will make a good Candidate......and if I may add...please we really DON'T NEED A democratic president......IT WILL KILL YA..lol...seriously don't be a puppet of the democratic party...........Love ya..peace..VOTE REPUBLICAN...if only you can see what I saw....well...I still love ya no matter what......

I second everything Abunai wrote...and just to add my two cents ..it is interesting to know that he didn't run for the senate..thank Abunai ..that further give credibility to me saying HE IS A DEMOCRAT PUPPET...and was placed as Senate only to run for President......OH MY GOD........No...tell me it isn't so.......Abunai.. you need to bring out more of your posts....maybe that would enlighten many other folks......

I have always said Jesse Jackson would have made a wonderful President..but then he got involved in the card game...but after it was all over....he was indeed a great person and did a lot of good..I would have wanted him to run NOW......now would have been his time......but I am dissappointed that he is backing Omama...because now that only shows me...his true colors..which he's been hiding all these years....No..I have not lost respect for him...but the mere facts he is hanging sharpie and supporting his nonsense..kills his personality...too bad Jesse..and you need to keep your son AWAY..from the media as it would only ruin his chances in the near future to run for electorial office.......CUT IT OUT....NO MORE RACE CARDS.......I want our new president WHOEVER IT MAY BE...to declare THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.......AS THE UNITED STATES OF ALL AFRO-AMERICANS...thus all of us citizens will be known to be afro-americans..abolishing RACE CARDS ..yes!! we don't know if our ancestors came also from there..so its a possibility..from now on everytime I filled out an application I AM MARKING OFF AFRO-AMERICAN.......rules!!

Candy, there is a lot of sense in what you are saying, and some truth, too. Okay, lots of truth.

I will stay a dem for now, but most likely, as in past years, vote conservative, republican.

But if forced to choose in the primary, which I will be, I just can't vote for Hillary. She lacks character, but so do most of them.

You have a great background and a great story to tell, Candy. I wish you would get up on a platform and tell it! It is really like an adventure with a little Cinderella magic and a triumph. It's something worth reading!

Can you write a post that everyone will read so they can hear it? Please?

It is factual. Check for yourself. Snopes.com

Who is Barack Obama?

Probable U. S. presidential candidate, Barack Hussein Obama

was born in Honolulu , Hawaii , to Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., a

black MUSLIM from Nyangoma-Kogel,

Kenya and Ann Dunham, a white ATHIEST from
Wichita, Kansas . Obama's parents met at the University

of Hawaii . When Obama was two years old, his parents divorced.

His father returned to Kenya . His mother

then married Lolo Soetoro, a RADICAL Muslim from Indonesia.?

When Obama was 6 years old, the family

relocate to Indonesia . Obama attended a MUSLIM

school in Jakarta . He also spent two years in a
Catholic school.

Obama takes great care to conceal the fact that he is

a Muslim. He is quick to point out that, "He was once a Muslim,

but that he also attended Catholic school."

Obama's political handlers are attempting to make it

appear that he is not a radical. Obama's introduction

to Islam came via his father, and that this influence

was temporary at best. In reality, the senior Obama

returned to Kenya soon after the divorce, and never

again had any direct influence over his son's education.

Lolo Soetoro, the second husband of Obama's mother,

Ann Dunham, introduced his stepson to Islam. Obama

was enrolled in a Wahabi school in Jakarta .

Wahabism is the RADICAL teaching that is followed

by the Muslim terrorists who are now waging Jihad

against the western world. Since it is politically expedient

to be a CHRISTIAN when seeking major public office

Wasn't Obama the one who did his swearing in on the koran instead of the Bible when he took his senatorial office?

DBEAST read my blog view my photos

in the United States , Barack Hussein Obama has joined
the United Church of Christ in an attempt to downplay his Muslim background. ALSO, keep in mind that when he was sworn into office he DID NOT use the Holy Bible, but instead the Koran.

Barack Hussein Obama will NOT recite the Pledge of Allegience nor will he show any reverence for our flag. While others place their hands over their hearts, Obama turns his back to the flag and slouches. Let us all remain alert concerning Obama's expected presidential candidacy..

The Muslims have said they plan to destroy the
US from the inside out, what better way to start than at the highest level - through the President of the United States, one of their own!!!!

Would you want this man leading our country?
...... NOT ME!!!

I am sure like me many of the American people have relatives serving in Iraq or have served to protect this country for us and which some have gave their lives for it. It would be a disgrace to them to vote for Obama. Take a poll from the Service Personell currently serving in our Armed Forces what their thoughts are on Obama.

My son serves in the Army. I did not know all this about Obama, to thank all of you for that.

I would hate to vote for Hillary, too, given her stand on the military.

Guess I need to re-register as something other than a Dem as the party obviously no longer represents anything that I believe.

Okay, I am officially joining the ranks of the conservatives! A party is definitely in order!

THANK YOU DBEAST!!!!! I just posted the same thing this morning on another blog. We must really be sure that we know the truth about all the potentials, not just what they are standing for today. I am from a large military family and just can't believe that we even allowed a person that is sooooo disrespectful of our country to be any part of our government, let alone a potential for president!!!!!!!
AND OF COURSE THANK YOU COOKIE-LADY FOR STARTING THIS BLOG

Y'all have set me straight and I am most grateful.

It truly would be disrespecting my son and all military people, actually all of us to vote for either Obama or Hillary.

Now, that being said, I don't know where to go with the Rep candidates. They all have their own quirks, too.

Batter up! Slam me out some more good ideas about your favorite!
