A lot of trailer trucks seem to be getting into accidents in the recent past.

I have over the last 3 years been noticing these guys drive these big rigs like sports cars.

My Dad drove for 40 years and my brother has been driving for almost 20. I understand what they are up against but the driving habits seem very dangerous to me.

Has anyone else noticed the anger and agression some of the guys/gals are driving with?

Why do the police not crack down.

I had a guy running me off the Bee Line last week. He was driving about 85 MPH.

All of a sudden I went by him and he was doing below the speed limit. LO and behold a few miles later there is a police car on the side of the road.

So these guys help each other with C'B communications.

more people are going to suffer.

Once upon a time I would greatly prefer the company of tractor-trailers on the road. They drove in a professional and courteous manner.

In recent years, I have felt significantly less comfortable. I have to believe that the training and testing and requirements have been lowered to meet the increasing demand for drivers.

On the plus side, J.B. Hunt drivers are still excellent.

3 weeks at a CDL farm and you too can be a menace on the highways.
I know you all have seen the commercials. Now you are seeing the products of these driver training schools.

Those driver training schools are EXACTLY what has caused the decent truckers much grief. These schools don't give a damn how well you drive or don't drive, all they see are the $$$$ DOLLAR SI$N$ $$$$, you have the money, you'll get the CDL. I don't recall the truck driving school, but I literally had a student driver PUSH ME COMPLETELY OFF SR436 one afternoon on my way home. I called the school and complained about it, anything get done, NO! These damn trucking schools are a menace and SHOULD ALL BE CLOSED DOWN. They ABSOLUTELY DO NOT teach road safety or courtesy, they teach drive like hell, get there, get your money and do it again on the return trip. I used to ride with truck drivers years ago, today, if they aren't someone I know or a an "old Pro" at it, I wouldn't get in the same rig with them, nor do I really want to be on the road with this "new breed" of arrogant semi drivers!
