You didn't go far enough on the Original Mavericks, Try this:
On the front page of The Tampa Tribune 10 Sept.08 was an article titled “Frustrated U.S. May Have to Change Tack In Bin Laden Hunt.”
Last night on TV I listened to a commentator say that Sen. McCain during his GOP convention speech stated that he could and would captor Bin Laden Dead or Alive if the American People voted him into office as President. As an American Citizen, U.S. Military Veteran and U.S. Senator why hasn’t McCain taken his positive plan to the Intelligent Community yesterday in place of trying to Black Mail the American Public into voting him into office as President of the United States before he executes his plan? McCain dose not have to be President to contribute something positive for the good and welfare of our Country.
If the American People vote someone else into office as the President does McCain plan on making the American People wait until the next election?
In my option his words are something a nonsensical person with elusions of grandiose would speak, and as an Independent voter I would write in on the election ballot “None of the Above” even if McCain was the only candidate listed.
In closing I ask why haven’t the general news media asked similar questions in place of spending wasted time reporting about Lipstick on a Pig or Palins’ talking in tongue religion?

vitt & frung...I have said that for many years. Forget all the "this is what I will do for you" stuff... it's not up to the individual!

I am also sick of the genre of campaign ads... tell me what you want to do, not what the other guy did or didn't do.

Since McCain is still "in the house", why hasn't he made any recommendations for any of his plans... why wait until he runs for the higher office. He can not do anything when/if he is prez....

What an insult to the TV show... Maverick. As I said, I won't vote for McCain because of the insult to the show.
