FOX Programmers! Please have your sports guys pre-record a morning Sports bit and replay it during the morning broadcasts - it's hard enough waking up at 5:30 am each day, then to listen to Elizabeth Alllllllvrez flub up every other name and word just adds to the headache.

And where the heck is Trei Johnson? I miss her in the mornings

YEAH.........WHERE'S TREI I MISS HER TOO......but please don't make fun of Elizabeth because all of them at Fox 35 at one point or another have made their mistakes.....or is just because SHE IS AN ALLLLLLLVAREZ........Tom and Heidi who I admire have plenty of times...slurr or mispelled something or another...thanks.

I saw on another blog that Trei has left Fox 35. No idea where she is now.

Yeah, I just saw that she left, that Roger Simmons blog had it on there.

I think you all are too sensitive. Listen, I don't care that other people make mistakes on the air, it doesn't make it any easier for me getting up in the morning having to hear an amateur learning how to be an anchor, okay? Get over it, geesh - and Candy it's not a racial issue, I don't care where she's from.

It just sounds silly to me, a lady who takes great pains to pronounce her own name with such distinction, trip up over almost every line in the mornings. I can understand if she doesn't "regularly watch" football for example, but if she's going to invest in central Florida, she might want to learn how to pronounce the terribly simple "Alstott" for example.

I was an on-air Broadcaster for 12 years, it really isn't difficult to, you know, TRY to give other people's names the same care as you give your own.

Trust me, I wouldn't even be watching that morning show anymore while she's on, except I have a thing about Fox News, it's the only news I watch, in any City I've ever lived in, From Denver to Detroit, to Orlando.

Here's to hoping she gets better at this, and soon.

Lighten up, guys. Who gives a ratt's arse if she flubs a word now and then? I'm pretty sure nobody misses the point regardless. I can't believe anyone would be THAT offended by it.

Yeah mistakes should be forgiven....HOWEVER....I wish Tom Johnson would learn how to pronounce Iraq...A ROCK is not a country...He could say "I RACK" or even "I ROCK" but like Bush's NUCLEAR, (he ALWAYS says NUKULAR-many many many jokes about this) Tom cannot pronounce Iraq...

YES...........WHERE IS TREI?

I'm watching an Echostar launch of a new satellite . The company responsible for all this is ILS. She is doing a report on there. I don't give a damn how many times she messes up. She is a fox and I wouldn't mind watching her every morning. ;-)
