Okay, so here we are all thinking that this stimulus rebate is a big deal. Supposedly we are getting $600 per single adult, $1200 for married filing a joint return and an additional $300 for each qualifying child, right? WRONG!
I got my rebate last week on the last day of the schedule for that particular round, which happened to be the first round of rebate checks sent out. Now here's the thing......
I have 3 qualifying children and filed a joint return and the total house hold income was under 30,000. So, I should have received a total rebate of $2100 but that isn't even close to what came. 
Sure I got the $1200 for the joint return but I only received $100 for each child bringing the total rebate to $1500. This is a far cry from the $2100 I should have received. 
But wait it gets better......
What I actually received was little more than $700. Yes I did call the IRS to check on this and I will receive no more that that little more than $700. Why you ask? Here's why.......
Apparently there was some kind of outstanding debt that the IRS would not explain that sucked up just over half of the $1500 and yet there were no such debt or deductions taken from my original return earlier this year.
Strange indeed but you can't argue with the IRS so here I am counting on this supposed stimulus rebate that I have already promised out, because we were guaranteed this money, all of us. I certainly am not in the habit of spending money before it hits the wallet but being told that i would definitely receive this amount and believing it to be true, as it's all over the news and internet, I did.  Now I am finding myself scrambling to make up the difference. 
So before you all go and get all excited and start planning how you are going to spend this so called rebate I suggest you wait to see what actually comes. Chances are that it will be a great deal less than what you are expecting. IMO THE WHOLE THING IS A FARSE. 

What if I told you that there is in fact a way to put a stop to high gas prices permanently? Believe it or not there actually is a solution. 
A man named Stan Meyer invented a HYDROGEN FUEL CELL that can operate your car at a rate of some 100 miles per gallon or more. This Hydrogen Fuel Cell completely eliminates the need for fossil fuel, you car can run on the water from your garden hose. Inventor Stan Meyer has applied for and received numerous international patents on his invention. 
So if this technology exists why is it not being implemented? Why are cars not being converted into Hydrogen Fuel Cell automobiles? This question does bear asking. Rumor has it that in the very near future we could be paying as much as $4.00 per gallon at the pump. I don't need to do the math for you to understand the impact on your pocket book but it would cost $64.00 just to fill a 16 gallon tank. If you fill up just 3 times a week that's $192 a week! That's $768 a month!!!! Why should we pay the monthly cost of a house payment just to drive when we could just fill it up in the driveway? We could even be fueling our vehicles with filtered waste water. Your vehicle will even run on salt water.

Okay, with all the hoopla over this kid in California sewing his teacher and the school over a supposed violation of his freedom of religion, which btw I think is total BS, I have one question.
Does it really matter what any one believes in? 
According to what I have read, NO. Now I'm not into formal religion, but that does not mean I myself am without faith of some kind. I have studied religious philosophy and do have a great understanding as to why religion was created. In the beginning there were no laws and there were things that the people had no logical explanation for so religion was created to bring about law and explanation for the unknown. Okay, that's great, but we live in a different world now and you would think that people would open their eyes and see that what may have been appropriate back then just isn't now. 
At any rate, I have seen this thing called "Project Blue Beam" and it's all over the internet. Google it. Basically what it is is the production of holographic images set to show whatever "god" for whatever region of the world in the sky that explains that whatever "god" is false. Then all these "gods" merge into one announcing the "one true god" all over the world. There are also supposed to be catastrophic events staged that will seem to bring age old prophecies into real life in conjunction with these holographic images. The goal here being to create one world religion and NASA is implicated as having a major roll in this, whatever it is. 
Now I'm not sure if all this is for real or not but it sure seems plausible with the way things have been going lately. With this "Blue Beam" thing there will be no more borders to lock down, no more immigration law, just to start with. It sure would appear that no more immigration law is right where this country is headed. What I have read is pretty scary stuff if indeed it is real.

After income taxes came I bought what I THOUGHT was a reliable mini van to haul all these kids around in. This van was brought to my attention by the seller who happened to know that we were in need of a larger vehicle for the family. This seller was in fact a long time business associate of my husband. This seller  was Jim Horine, owner of Remanufactured Transmission and H&H Auto and Truck Sales, and yes I did buy this van from his place of business and not as a private sale. 
Well, MY VAN DIDN'T LAST AN OIL CHANGE BEFORE THE REBUILT TRANSMISSION (UNDER WARRANTY) EXPLODED! And it gets better than that.....
When I drove the van off of the lot of Remanufactured Transmission and H&H Auto and Truck Sales, located at 2700 S Orange Ave. in Orlando, I hadn't even gotten but a few miles down the road when the van started to over heat. So, I brought  the van right back and talked to Jim Horine personally. Mr. Horine guaranteed me that he would personally go over the van with a fine toothed comb and make sure "EVERY THING" was right with the van and that if he could not make it right he would give me my money back. 
The following day i get a call from one of the "shop guys" who informs me that the van is ready to be picked up and that it's running "perfectly". The guy tells me that there was a radiator hose that had not been reconnected when they put in the rebuilt transmission. So, I go pick up the van and it seems to be running fine with no over heating, until....
Two weeks later the van is over heating again. So, I take the van to a mechanic who tells me that I need an intake gasket and that there is FRESH STOP LEAK in my system and it is making things worse. I tried to call Mr. Horine several times and NONE of my calls were returned. Then not even six weeks into this van and the transmission explodes and again Mr. Horine will not return my calls. 
I get the van towed to the shop and the "shop guy" calls me and tells me that 3 of my spark plug wires aren't even connected and the other 3 wires are all mixed up. OK SO NOW THIS IDIOT THINKS THAT JUST BECAUSE I'M FEMALE I'M STUPID AND DON'T KNOW THAT THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!  In case yo didn't know, the van wouldn't have even started if that were the case!!!!!!!!!!  And yet I was driving it down the road when the transmission blew. DUH!!!!! And, of course they have no idea how stop leak got in my system and they have no idea why it didn't over heat for that short 2 weeks. Yeah my butt!!! 
Remanufactured Transmission and H&H Auto and Truck Sales has offices located in Orlando, Clermont and St. Cloud. They also use the names  Lake County Transmissions, Inc.Main Street Transmissions, Inc.
Orange Avenue Transmissions, Inc.
Similar complaints have been filed with the BBB about this company. 
The slogan on the business card for their auto sales is "Where you get service after the sale!" 
The service I received after the sale was NONE! They dumped stop leak in my cooling system then lied about it as a part of their service! 
There are also various bolts that are loose and/or missing after they installed the transmission that they rebuilt, that blew up with less than 3000 miles on it. Not to mention the radiator hose that was not connected was also the WRONG PART and it was BENT so that little to no coolant could pass through it.
BE AWARE!!!!! THIS IS A BAD COMPANY NO MATTER THE NAME!!!!!! THEY DO SHOTTY WORK AND DON'T STAND BY THEIR WORK OR WARRANTY!!!!!! 

Okay, I guess I'm having a bad dimhouse day here. I am really starting to hate brighthouse, this is the worst service ever! Can't use the phone cuz it keeps shutting down in the middle of a call, internet is doing the same and the cable is skipping like an old phonograph. All this for $160 a month.

What's up with this? Where I come from, up north, you are asked if it is okay for a student or learning physician or nurse to be present during your care. Here in Florida this isn't the case. How outrageous! I realize that people have to learn somewhere but not on me or my family, we are not guinea pigs. I have a huge problem with this. If one of my children or myself require medical attention I want to be seen by a seasoned professional and not some kid either still in school or fresh out of school who uses a book to create a diagnosis because they have NO real experience or practical knowledge other than what they learned in school. Every one knows that what you learn in most college courses is very different from what real life has to offer and if these people really want to learn something than they need to listen to the patient and not just the written text in a book. And ask if the patient minds being your guinea pig before you practice learning on them.

This really has me PO'd!!! Why don't people MOVE OVER on the roads to let emergency vehicles pass!?

Early one morning last week my new born daughter quit breathing and turned blue, I called 911 and EMS came to rush us off to the hospital. Today my daughter is fine, no thanks to all you butt holes on the roads who refuse to MOVE OVER to let an ambulance pass. I don't give a frogs fat butt if you are trying to get to work on time or to the golf course or to the stinking theme parks! YOU NEED TO MOVE OVER!!!! Seriously people, how would you feel if it were your child, sibling, parent or friend in that ambulance and no one moved out of the way to let the ambulance pass? I can tell you how I felt, angry at the idiots on the road and worried about the life of my new born daughter, seconds DO count. I am absolutely amazed at how many people have their heads so far up their own butts and are concerned solely with them selves that the lights and sirens of an emergency vehicle mean nothing because "they" have somewhere to be.

The next time you are driving down the road and you hear an emergency vehicle imagine that it's one of your loved ones in need of help and MOVE OVER.

Okay, so I'm looking at the blogs and I'm wondering what the deal is here. I went about 8 pages in and it's ALL repeats, over and over again. Not only is it all repeats but there are many blogs where you are unable to leave a comment yet they seem to be asking a question, and I don't see many of the regular blogers who have been here for months and months posting. What's going on? Has the web team at fox simply lost their minds or is there an error in the system? I'm also wondering why a blogger can write a post that gets featured, then later one of the news team writes the same blog and the original post by a regular blogger gets bumped for a stolen post by one of the news team? This doesn't quite seem fair. If the newscasters take priority in bloging and are allowed to steal blog topics from the regular bloggers then maybe all the blogs should just be by the newscasters and us regular people should just be able to leave comments, or not. What ever is going on here it has certainly made the blogging experience here rather dull in comparison to the past.

And for all you newbies...if you write a post don't keep posting it just because it is no longer on the first page or because you didn't get a response.

I was watching the news on the story about the three county police chase that took place yesterday. Did any one watch this video?

The suspect was running through the field and the K-9 caught him and was biting the guy's arm. Then the deputy runs up behind the guy, who puts his arms up and is already on the ground subdued by the dog. Then, WHAM!!!....The deputy punches the guy in the head and begins to tackle him...end video.

I think this officer should be charged and removed from the force. What do you think?

I did this post a few days ago and there were requests for the video. I searched the local TV news sites and it was not there any more, but I did find it.

Watch the video. After the suspect jumps from the vehicle the police dog gives chase and subdues the suspect. Then comes the officer, the suspect has his arms up with the dog still biting and the officer comes up and punches the suspect in the head.

Yesterday an employee for the City Hall in Ocoee left her 22 month old child in a hot car causing the toddler's death. The woman claims to have forgotten her child was in the car after she was supposed to be dropping the child off at day care. She also claims that this is normally her husbands job to take the child to day care and not a part of her normal routine. The mother is reported to have several other children and other City Hall employees claim that she is a good mother. There are NO charges being filed in the death of this 22 month old.

A lot of us, in fact most of us, have children. Some of us even have children close to the age of this child. How can a so called "good" parent forget their child in the car? I for one do not believe it is possible. I have children and one is very close to the same age as this child, I could NEVER forget that she is sitting behind me in her car seat.

After several deaths last year involving children dyeing in hot vehicles the state of Florida has passed some new laws regarding the issue of leaving your child unattended in a vehicle. Not too lang ago, a woman left her child in the car in front of her home while she ran in to get an umbrella. The car was stolen with the child inside and the woman was charged with a misdemeanor criminal offense for leaving the child in the vehicle unattended. In some cases, such as a resulting death of a child left in a vehicle, the parent or care giver in question is charged with a felony offense. So, why not this mother? Could it be she was not charged with the neglectful death of her child because she works for City Hall? Do politics play a role here? Is this a case of "who you know"?

According to the news story I watched last night the mother went out to check on her vehicle approximately 3 hours after arriving at City Hall to report for work that morning, around lunch time. At this time she reportedly discovered her 22 month old unconscious and was completely oblivious to the fact that she had "forgotten" to drop the toddler off at day care that morning. This sounds suspicious to me. Why would you go out to "check" on your vehicle if you had no idea that you left something as important as your child behind?

I believe this is a double standard of sorts. It is as though, because this woman works for City Hall she is infallible in the eyes of the law and not responsible for the death of her child. If the woman had worked at the 7-11 but all the other circumstances were the same, would there be no charges? I think not.

What do you think? Should this woman be charged for the death of her child? Could you forget your child was in the car? Do you believe there is a double standard here? Do you think this was a clear case of intentional neglect? I sure do.
