I forget the details...  Maybe someone can back fill with accurate details....

It was something about a city manager who apparently has been forcing inspectors to inspect plumbing, electrical,  mechanical, and so forth where they weren't properly 'licensed' to do so.

And one of them claims to have been fired for it? (and apparently has a memo to prove it)

Doesn't seem all that suprising. And of course the City manager's solutions is they are going to review their policies.... doesn't he know the policies?  Lets form a committee, investigate for 6 months (or more, until it all settles down and everyone forgets) and then make some irrelevant changes by moving some people around...same people diferent responsibilites...and then get back to business.

I think the City manager should be fired (or is it a voted position... do they impeach city managers???), and the man who refused to do what he should'n't should get his job.  maybe he's not qualified, but at least he wont do what he shouldn't! seems the lesser of two evils to me.
