ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35, Orlando) -- Cindy Anthony is asking investigators to look into a recent sighting of her missing granddaughter Caylee.
Cindy Anthony spoke at a press conference Tuesday. She said that she doesn't know if a photo taken of a girl resembling 3-year-old Caylee Anthony is her granddaughter, but wants it investigated.
Caylee's mother, Casey , has been charged with her murder.
A detective hired by the family who appeared at the news conference said the photo was taken at mall in November but that investigators aren't willing to study the statement of the woman
who took it.
Orange County Sheriff's Office officials were not immediately available for comment.
Caylee Anthony was last seen June 16. She was reported missing a month later.
