Thursday, November 13, 2008 What a spectacular evening THE LATIN GRAMMY GALA ...
It was breathtaking to see so many latinos and Americans come together in this wondefully elegant evening of awards of latin pops, country and folklore music. It brought me to tears to see VICKI CARR.........OMG........my mother adore her music and she is still STANDING and SINGING with her beautiful voice. Kenny G. was also there. My God that man can hypnotized you with his flute.
The best part was to see so many like I've said, Colombia; Brazil, PuertoRico, Cuba, Argentina, Pananama and America..........united under one roof.
Gloria Stefan was absolutely incredible. HER MUSIC SINCE THE EARLY 70's with the Miami Sound Machine still kicking.
But the greatest part of all.................was to see Gloria Estefan along with JOSE FELICIANO (GOSH he looked incredible) and MY ALL TIME FAVORITE SANTANA.........was simply an emotional time. The music; the lyrics just makes your heart pound and your feet moving to the beat COME EVERYBODY DO THE CONGA......
What a spectacular and elegant evening. I truly enjoyed every bit of it. Especially my husband who adores Santana.
Though this picture was from his concert this year, April, 2008 UCF ARENA.
LOVING THE MUSIC. I LOVE THE TRIBUTE GIVING TO CELIA CRUZ, SELENA AND TITO PUENTE..............ONE OF LATINO AMERICA GREATEST only to name a few!
