Dear Lord, I thank You for this day,

I thank You for my being able to see and to hear this morning.

I'm blessed because You are a forgiving God and an understanding God.

You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me.

Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to you.

I ask now for Your forgiveness.

Please keep me safe from all danger and harm.

Help me to start this Day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude.

Let me make the best of each and every day to clear my mind so that I can hear from You.

Please broaden my mind that I can accept all things.

Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over.
And give the best response when I'm pushed beyond my limits.

I know that when I can't pray, You listen to my heart.

Continue to use me to do Your will.

Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others Keep me strong that I may help the weak...

Keep me uplifted that I may have words of encouragement for others.

I pray for those that are lost and can't find their way.

I pray for those that are misjudged and misunderstood.

I pray for those who don't know You intimately.

I pray for those that will delete this without sharing it with others.

I pray for those that don't believe.

But I thank you that I believe that God changes people and God changes things.

I pray for all my sisters and brothers.

I pray for each and every family member in their households.

I pray for peace, love, and joy in their homes.

I pray that they are out of debt and all their needs are met.

I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem, circumstance, or situation greater than God.

Every battle is in Your hands for You to fight.
I pray that these words be received into the hearts of every eye that sees it.
If you prayed this prayer, pass it on so people can See how many people have done so.

God Bless You!!!!!

Candy, what a beautiful prayer. Thank you for sharing this with us. It felt so good to sit back and reflect for a moment on what's most important and where I need to be, especially around others in life right now. I pray people set aside their negative thinking for just a little while and open their eyes to see that you have a wonderful heart!

thanks..YBSrobin..your comments are well appreciated. As we live in a time of so much anger, crimes and negativity, I like to always bring a smile to everyone's face though at times, I too can use some of my own medicine..lol

Remember that song you love to hate: Don't cry out loud --- keep it inside learn how to hide your feelings. When I was a teen I loved this song...then as I got older it was WHAT HIDE YOUR FEELINGS......it feels so good to let out your feelings specially when there are people around willing to listen...Well I am glad it cheered you up..I know we all have our life problems to live with...but its NICE TO KNOW ..HE IS INDEED EVERYWHERE

Thank you. I just wonder how many people I scared away...lol. As I read your Blogs, seeing your family picture, it kind of made it seem more on a personable level and that was really nice. So I commend you for putting your picture out there and not being afraid to stand up for yourself.

I think we all need some LOVE...and prayers to me are always welcome...nothing like beating your enemy; or the one you are having problems with ..with love and prayers...I am happy to see you guys are enjoying it..it was my purpose to reach out and touch all of you. Just know I am not perfect, I make mistakes everyday...but I try not to make the same mistakes twice..all in all I gotta believe there's a God a loving and forgiving God..or else I am going.....down.....LOL...sorry...

and I am trying very hard not to cuss...really...so just be patient..sometimes in life's downs and ups..we tend to forget there's more good than evil...or at least that's what I am thinking...

oh how sweet WVladybug..but I am kinda embarrased..in fact, I think you are the first blogger that has actually made me feel that way...as you know I am blogbushelled because when I get intense..I do a bit of a cussing match..(not intense bad ones..but I do) and now with you around....i feel I should be a bit more respectful..I LOVE IT..I WILL TRY..but remember FOR YOU.....ONLY......and maybe a couple of others......lol

I am a legal Assistant/Paralegal of 23+ years, Notary, Beautician, Nutritionist.Originally came from Cuba in 1967 have live the American Dream. Have witness the riotings and seen the changed in economy, politics and education. Happily married to my now, retired husband. After he served in vietnam later became a Detective for the Arson Squad then became a Firefighter. We are very proud of him and Thank God he made out of the Fire Department alive. We both have won awards, his was The Valor Award for saving lives and I got a Proclamation from the City of Newark for serving as security and community activist. Orlando is now our home.My ultimate goal is to serve the community and run for office some day. I presently have a seat in the Board of Directors for our HOA. We have five wonderful children two girls and three boys and three beautiful grandsons. I Thank God for all that my parents instilled me have been rubbing off on them so far. Happy to be a member of WOFL's Blog and look forward to meeting and communicating with WOFL's viewers.
