okay, so i do truly thank my lucky stars each and every day for the greatest job in the world, honestly something new and different and exciting each morning, but ...

anyone else out there have a serious case of summer-itis ??   seriously, do you find yourself daydreaming about lounging around by the pool, playing marco polo or sharks n minnows, and i'm not talking about for the weekend, i'm talking about for 3 months !?!

so, my question du jour is ... when exactly did we become the adults around here, and how come only the kids get 3 months off for summer ???  anyone want to start a petition ??  lemme know and i'll see ya at the pool !!  ; )

Christine I am with you! I don't know why but I always wonder why we work five days and have two days off...I much prefer working the entire weekend and having the five days off..lol..

that was cute...but don't think it would ever happen???

I hear you Kalina. I think that's the problem in recent years people work so hard and so diligently THEY FORGET TO HAVE FUN AND ENJOY THEIR LOVE ONES.....

Candy,
Thats because this country these days are stripping family values, with high costs of just the basics to live and work for, we have to have two or more people working in the family, which takes time away from the families. We leave our kids to be babysat by , daycare, schools, after school programs , and last but not least...television and video games. These mediums DO NOT teach Family Values.
And we wonder why kids these days have no direction, maybe with this gas crunch, some of these matters may get addressed, with shorter work weeks , and higher wages........but i wont be holding my breathe waiting for it to happen.

yes twizled...things sure have change since we were growing up. I have to do a blog..Coming to America..so everyone can see through an eye of immigrant what U>S>A. stood for and what I expected. Though I can't complain much I have had a wonderful life...at times very hard, like right now but God is good and what can one do..can't sit back and go to rot...you gotta keep on TRUCKING......remember that..lol

Oh, no doubt
Faith is what keeps me going..sometimes its hard to muster up...but I hang on to it strongly. I hope and pray that my grandkids get at least SOME family values, so maybe their generation will have some morals and values to adhere to and believe in.
But still on the holding breathe note...I wont be holding at all LOL
