seal, donna summer, graham nash, freakin zz top (!), the jonas brothers, one republic, and oh yeah, george michael !!!   easily the best finale show so far ... very little of the cheezy brady bunch-style musical numbers this year (sorry, but you know it's true)  =)

also, GREAT duets and performances by syesha, michael johns and carly, and very very impressive with brooke and graham nash -- it's always so impressive to see how at-ease these finalists are with music legends so quickly.

okay, so as we know, i've been a HUGE archuleta fan since the beginning -- such an amazing voice, i still say he hasn't hit a wrong note all season -- probably in his whole life !!   and especially with his flawless performance last night, i still really thought he was going to win tonight -- but as we know, the other david won tonight, and i think i'm okay with it ! =)    cook is already an amazing performer, definitely has that rocker thing down, and the best part?  he also likes archuleta.  what's not to love ?

interviewed both the davids tonight, and will again in the morning -- tune in from 7a-9a and lemme know what you think !!  go david !!

=) -- cvb

I felt Brooks duet with Graham Nash was her best performance ever. Why she didn't do this before, is my biggest question?

Amanda looked a little ticked off about having to walk around. Can anyone understand what is coming out of her mouth. She sounds like she is singing with crackers in her mouth. I know, cause I've sang with crackers in my mouth. Try it. It will make you laugh.

All in all, I agree, best finally ever!

You said it girl...what a night! Lot's of stars! Just as soon as I saw David Cook perform with ZZ Top...I knew then he was the winner! Funny how he never started out a supporter for his brother to audition and got through all the way to the top all by accident! We will see a lot of great things to come from this talented entertainer!

That was a great show with an awesome outcome. It was like watching the Superbowl when your team wins. I jumped off the catch and started yelling......lol.

David A should have won hands down. David C has the look though. AI is not fair since you can vote more than once. Had it been left to single voting, David A would have won. But heck, you'll probably be hearing more from David A than Cook, just like past AI 1 and 2's Studdard and Aiken. I was not impressed with Reubens song either, probably one of the worst choices yet of AI.
Both Davids were good though, I must admit.
