happy wednesday, my friends !!

this week, i'm checking out unique ways to enjoy the bevy of theme parks we have right here in our own backyard -- so far, we've visited the 'fort wilderness lodge' at disney ((no, the bugs aren't animatronic)), the new 'simpsons ride' at universal ((doh!!)), and today, i went a little nutty on the 32 degree banking on the double-decker go-cart track at fun-spot ((the only roller coaster ride where you control the speed -- love it !! ))

tough job, but someone has to do it, right ?? ;)  tomorrow we're on to seaworld, and friday, typhoon lagoon. so -- what's your favorite theme park -- and especially, what are some of the hidden activities/experiences that everyone may not know of ??  lemme know !! =)

Silver Springs, and Busch Gardens are the only ones I have been to more than once. Having Lived in Ca. as a Child and Going yearly to the only Place Walt actually called the happiest place on earth...Maybe because a family of 5 could go and not have to put a second mortgage on your home, and the only special days days they had were Grad days, and military days, where with a ID you could enjoy the park for $5 a person....wow those were the days.

hey christine

Have you tried the sky venture at the top of international drive?
Its a verticle wind tunnel where you can get as close as possible to actually skydiving with getting on a plane.

Next week is the start of the orlando fringe theatre festival, there are some very talented people putting on performances for the public.
I have a few freinds who are performers in a group who will be at the event, if you would like to do a live peice from their rehearsal rooms i can put you in touch.
