Be sure to check out all the Hardly ridin' leather and fringe wearing posers! There'll be lots of gangs there- the Devil's Dentists, Heck's Realtors, Weekend Warriors, all of 'em. Just watch out when they actually start up those big 40 HP dinosaurs, they are a little wobbly you know. Mommy and Daddy wouldn't let them have those big bad machines when they were in high school, so most of 'em had to wait for the big mid life crisis! Don't forget to see all the trailers they bring there bikes in on!

Yep, it's Poser Week!

Poser week. What you watched the movie Wild Hogs too? Gangs are overgrown kids grouping together. The real bikers are the hard working people who enjoy an event like this. I have been looking forward to this week for a while and hope to enjoy myself like I always do. Maybe I'll also get lucky and meet Christine Van Blokland there and be able to tell her how much I enjoy her stories on the news and get her autograph.

From what I have been told. GET THE @%&# OUT OF TOWN !! Is the best way for the locals to enjoy Bike Week, Spring Break, and all the other special events. Unless you look forward to them. Then knock yourself out. Me, I hate crowds. Find a nice open air bar and sit there and watch the world pass you by. You will be amazed at the Custom trailers that you see come down. When is the Custom Trailer show this year during Bike Week?

Riding the back roads is the BEST bike week for people who ride theirs all the time.
The Posers only ride their bright, shiny bikes to events to make everyone think their "Real Bikers", but they arent't. Real bikers ride their bikes to work EVERYDAY!!!, not just to shows and events.
When you see a dirty ride going down the road, it's because the dude didn't have time to wash it because he has ridin it all week to work, and could give a #>@t if anyone cares.
I like to shop for a new shirt, but hate the "Waiting Game" to get my bike parked. My clutch hand aches by the time I can find a place to park. I guess it is all part of the game.

I guess that the police chief of Daytona wants to change the gogo bars to churches to save us heathen bikers. 21 girls arrested in one bar for showing their buttocks. I would like Chitwood to come arrest my plumber! Talk about showing your butt!

Chief *hitwood is already beginning to make a difference in daytona. years ago at bike week you couldn't find a room nearer than deltona! now thanks to his valiant efforts almost every motel and hotel on A1A has vacancy signs posted. keep up the good work chief soon it will be safe enough for all those family vacationers to stay in daytona, assuming they can afford the 190-220 dollars a night for your beachfront flophouses!

Hey I went and had a great time. I found all kinds of good deals and all kinds of fun. By the way tuts51chevy, real bikers also own nice looking rides. I've been riding for over 30 years. I love my Harley and take great care of it. I ride the tires off of it. It is so much more than transportation and there were a ton of us at bike week this past weekend. You had your share of posers, but they are in the minority. Plenty of real bikers to go around. I'll be back out there Friday and Saturday. Anybody else going?
