I worship God in spirit and truth. I receive the teachings of the spirit of the word from the holy ghost, and not another man, organization, club, or any earthly entity. This is available to all who are truly saved. Christ Jesus is the ONLY mediator between God and man. There is the "Letter of the new testement" which killeth. There is the Spirit of the New testement which giveth life.
James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the father is this. To visit the widows and fatherless in their time of affliction, and keep self unspotted from the world." All other religion is impure and defiled before Christ and our heavenly Father. You need no man to teach you, and a preacher is not called of God to preach, but God sent us a preacher and that was the apostle Paul.
James 1:5 "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not, and it shall be given him." Those who call themselves "christian" but heap teachers and "man ordained ministers" upon themselves have not trusted in the promises of God. The only instruction needed of man now, is for them to point out this truth to one who would seek God, and warn them against the false apostles filling the earth today.
The "love" that God's word calls us to, is not the love of the world. We are called to do no evil to one another, but we are not called to embrace every ungodly, unholy, and vile thing, in order not to offend someone. We must live for the truth, and for mercy. But love is not giving up the truth. If one does not "agree" with the word of God, they are none of Christs. If one does belong to Christ, they can not sin. What that means is, they can not consent with their mind unto what is sin.
Sin is the transgression of the laws of God. That law for righteousness in the flesh was taken out of the way by the sacrifice of God's only begotten son. Sin is committed to the flesh, and it remains in the flesh. Thus, as Paul said, "with the mind we serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin and death." And as Paul said, and we also who love the Lord will say while yet in this body, "Oh wretched man am I!"
Paul also said, that when he would do good, he finds there is a law of sin, that he would do evil. He said, he does the very thing he hates, and what he would do, he does not do.
What this means is that we are unable to be perfect in the flesh, but with our minds (and the heart follows the council of the mind) we agree with the laws of God, that they are good.
Therefore, one who disagrees with the judgements of God that his word teaches, does not belong to Christ, even though they may call themselves a "christian." These have created for themselves an image of God, and of Christ, and do not submit to his wisdom and authority, but unto their own or anothers.
Those who are religious also do not believe the word of God, as it says, "No flesh will glory before God." They do not believe in the gospel of Christ Jesus, as it teaches us that "salvation is by grace through faith. Not of works lest any man should boast. And if it is of Grace, it is no more of works. Else if it is of works, it is no more of Grace."
Faith and Religion are not the same. Faith is hope in what is unseen. Religion is man's physical labors, bodily exercise, and superstitious behaviors in his attempt to take for himself what can not be got by man's own devices, and he does not understand.
When President Bush began goverment support for what he called "faith based organizations", he started the funding of "religion." This means that our goverment now helps to increase religious activity, and the lie that religion is faith.
Religion does nothing to bring a man closer to God. God gave his son, and declared that no one could come to him except through Christ Jesus. Religious behavior denies the blood of Christ. The religious are the very enemies of the cross.
Paul says, "God does not dwell in temples made with man's hands, neither is he worshipped with man's hands." Paul said, there is one spirit, and there is one baptism. He says we (who are saved) are all baptised by the one spirit into the body of Christ. This baptism is by the holy spirit, not water.
The whole world is deceived. They all follow after the beast. Those in the world today who say they have faith, know nothing of it. Everything is called something other than what it truly is. People are confused, and the churches and other religious organizations are leading to the "falling away." This is the falling from Grace. One who would believe is quickly turned backwards to trust in something else for their righteousness. But man's righteousness is as filthy rags. God only is holy, and salvation is a free gift. Remember, if it is of works, then it is no more of Grace.
The true "sabbath" is this pure faith in Christ Jesus. It is the day we believe, and enter into God's rest. One must cease from their own works to enter into God's rest. To defile this "Sabbath" is to add or mix anything into it. Thus all of these earthly churches in the world today, defile the sabbath and lead believers back into bondage to observe ordinances and traditions of man for righteousness.
Can a man be homosexual and be saved? No. A man who is saved can sin in the flesh, indeed, but he can not consent with his mind. So such a one must confess, he is wretched! But also, the word promises that God will quicken our mortal bodies. This means (in this context) that God helps us to overcome the sins of the flesh. Perfectly? No. His word says we wait for the hope of righteousness, and what we hope for, we wait for with patience. So indeed if a man is homosexual and he comes to the knowledge of salvation (in spirit and in truth) he will become wretched over that weakness in his flesh.
He will not be in a "gay pride parade."
What is sin? Sin is the transgression of the law. Nature is a part of God's law. God created us, and God created us male and female. The word describes homosexuality and all sin, to be an abomination unto God. Thus one who steals, commits adultery, bears false witness, is angry with their brother without a cause, etcetera, are all the same as being homosexual.
All have sinned and come short of the glory of God, and Christ died for us while we were yet in our sins. To forgive one another for our sins, does not mean to overlook and abide with those sins. One must first renew their mind, that they no longer consent unto sin with their mind. We should quickly forgive one who is weak, because we all have our weaknesses. But one who with their mind, consents to something as good, that the word says is an abomination, is not weak, but in rebellion against God.
The false christian apostles have taught that we must embrace all these lies, and that that is what it is to love as a christian. They have taught that to be a christian, one only must be religious, and claim to believe in Christ. But one can not believe in one they do not know. Jesus said, Many will say, Lord, Lord, didn't we do all these things in your name? And he will tell them to depart into everlasting hell.
These are workers of iniquity who have transformed themselves into the ministers of righteousness. By their teachings, their clinging to the letter of the word, and not the spirit of the word, by their ordinances and traditions, these lead people away from the cross.
It is so silly how one today who calls themselves a christian minister, will say nothing against homosexuality, but will accuse a smoker of sin. Most smokers do not consent with their minds unto smoking, that it is a good thing. Most smokers are wretched over their smoking because they know it hurts their health. Nevertheless, God's strength is made perfect through our weaknesses. "The law came in that sin would abound, but that grace would much more abound.
We who are saved by grace do not condemn ourselves in that which we allow. But neither do we consent with our minds unto what the word of God calls an abomination, and call it good. That is simply turning the truth of God into a lie.
One who teaches doctrine that is contrary to the word of God is a liar, and they are seeking the praise of men, or power, or self glory, or even filthy lucre. And they do this all in the name of Jesus. God forbid!
Christ died for our sins. He did not then say, "guess what folks, nothing is any longer sin! Whatever anyone wants to call good, is now good."
If one would seek God with all of their heart, mind, soul, and might, he will be found. He will then give you all that he promises. One must forget all they think they know, leave behind every man that would show them the way, and ask God to save them according to His own power, authority and Grace.
God will then reveal Christ to you as he promises. He will open your eyes so that when you read the word you see the hidden wisdom spoken by the holy ghost in a mystery. He will give you wisdom and understanding, leading you into all truth.
He will not "call" you to preach, join a church, be baptised by water, or do anything but to draw ever nearer to him. His word tells us to live according to his truth, study his word, pray without ceasing, avoid the lies in the world, watch for Christ, and communicate to others our hope in Christ Jesus. And as James explained, be compassionate and helpful to those who are truly in need.
"He that hath an ear to hear, let him hear what the spirit saith unto the churches, he that overcometh (these errs in the churches) shall be rewarded..." (see rev 1&2)
Jesus said, "He that loveth me, is he that keepeth my sayings."
And, "Man shall not live by bread (doctrine) alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God."
"Line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little, there a little."
"For by GRACE are we saved."
