Thank you to the police officer that arrested this person for this crime.
He should be commended for this patriotic action. A lot of officials would have just taken the flag away and sent the person home.
As a veteran, and talking to many veterans, the disburdening feeling when stories like this is heard. When you have been to a place where you flag is not flown, and your rights are not there. We take for granted what the flag stands for.
Thank you again to the police officer.

On Monday Irma Clark filed suit in the Cincinnati, Ohio, district court, alleging her son Joseph Clark was exposed to "excessive suffering" violating the US constitution when he was put to death on May 2, 2006, at a state prison in Lucasville, Ohio, according to court documents.
Are we out of our minds for even listening to this lady? Her son kills (proven) and now the state is being sued for causing him pain and un-due stress.
HELLO, he killed someone violently, brutally murdered someone, with no needle, no sterile surroundings, and this lady is even offered the chance to bring forth a suit against the state. Come on...
I suppose if her murdering son would have been found and shot on the street, it would have been police brutality.
I'm sorry we have become a nation of laws that are run by laws and no one with common sense is paying attention or fixing it. Where will we go from here? Countries with suicide bombers filing wrongful death suits against the US for being a target?

As another year passes, and we remember the fallen but not forgotten. I was at Bushnell Cemetery. We rode up with about 200 bikers from the surrounding area. A wonderful speech from the Lt Governor of the state.
As the crowd listened and the tears of remembrance rolled from the caring eyes, some had lost loved ones, and some just to remember the fallen.
The entire event was touching, as one vet would smile with remembrance of his comrades from Nam, another would cry from the thought of what should have been.
As I watched a active duty soldier stand during the singing of amazing grace, God Bless America and others, his wife next to him, wiped the tears from his eyes and hers.
Remembering can be happy and painful at the same time.
As the conclusion came, and the minister spoke of listening to the trees and the wind as it blew through them. You could hear some of the voices of the many who lay in rest at this sacred place. Thank you for coming, come again soon was his statement, the fallen like the company.
Don’t let Memorial day be just once a year, remember your fallen as a family member would. Remember the POW/MIA, for where ever they lay tonight; it is not at home with a love one.
If we forget, and stop coming to these events, or just because we need to say thank you. Then what all soldiers fought for, for these many decades was for not.
Remember and thank a veteran every day.

As yesterday came and went, we hopefully took a moment of our time to stop, think, and ponder upon what our veterans are going through. As a Veteran myself, I just wanted to say Thank you.
To All the veterans of past, that took the time from their lives to be away from family in harsh times, some laid down their lives.
The veterans of present, who make the sacrifice from family, and friends to ensure that we are protected in our homeland.
To the veterans of our future, you will go in with honor, serve with valor, and return respected by other for your job.
Not all agree with current policies of our government, but remember to respect and honor the soldiers of any job in the military, Emergency medical services, and law enforcement.
They make a difference. And the fallen should never be forgotten.
Thank you again,

The Viet Nam Memorial at Brandon
Every one that pays attention to the news or radio heard about the rolling walls arrival. Not as many did that should have attended.
I have been all over Europe, Most every country has memorials of war and remembrance. Proud of the heroes proud of the fallen and what they did.
Now I was a young boy at the time of the Viet Nam War. I watched it on the TV when mom and dad allowed or better yet when I would settle down to watch what was happening in the world on the news.
At the time, didn’t pay much attention to the battles, solders or sacrifices that was going on. Not all that went wanted to, but all that were there did what they had to do.
Being a Air Force NCO years later and learning the limited knowledge that I do. I respect the sacrifice of the fallen from the past.
I have been to the memorial in DC, and was amazed by the wall, the design and the meaning that I thought.
Today, I went to the rolling wall in Brandon, the names that go on forever it seams. To stop and read the name, look at the notes left, gaze into the lost soldier case on display.
Remembering that every name was a person. Average age 19. They gave the ultimate sacrifice to a country that, didn’t give the acknowledgment that was due. A country that protested the presence of our soldiers in a different country.
As I watched the people that did arrive, that gave a thought to the names, some gave tears to the lost but now remembered. Some brought gifts to the fallen, and gave the biggest gift of not forgetting their fellow man or woman.
Enough of my babble, I wanted to give the biggest “Welcome Home” to all those who went. Remembering that the soldiers now serving, come home soon.
With just over 3000 lost, let us not forget to go out and find a vet and say thank you for going, Thank you again for coming home.
“If you can read this, than a teacher. If you can read this in English, Thank a veteran.
